Ordered 1/2 lamb bunny chow. What I got was a small, flouverless stew stuck in a half hollowed out bread. With the worst tasting meat ever. Its better off in a dustbin then on a plate. There are places charging half this price with way better food. This was probably the worst bunny chow to date. Zero stars!

You serve hot curry in round plastic salad bowls...not healthy. Why not use foil containers for all your food? Rice is good in foam container.Ordered the bryani lamb with no bone....there was NO meat...for R170....so not worth a dry bowl of rice....Ordered the Butter chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala for R120 per dish...shockingly you only get 1 cut up small chicken fillet (5 blocks) and sauce. Not worth the money...seriously....Your overheads so high you cant even provide a decent portion of food?

Worst food ever. Chicken samoosas are tasteless yellow mince wrapped in half fried dough. No spice or flavour at all. Sambal normally consists of tomato and onion. The tomato has been replaced with carrots. Dreading to eat the curry;; Sad thing is that its the same owners of Jewel of India in Durbanville so I wont go there at all.

Very disappointing, ordered the lamb curry, samosas and chicken kiddies meal. Everything tasted the same.... Bland and flavorless like burnt toast. Being from Durban I obviously expect to much.... This place wont see me again!

So I ordered for the first time via Uber Eats. The driver send me a text to say the restaurant said someone took the order already. An hour later, boom a cancellation. I started a new order, it’s 20:24 still waiting for a new meal from a different restaurant. Horrible service, very disappointing. Not professional. Don’t order online.

I cannot even contact their Cape Gate branch via landline or my cell phone because the person answering has a hearing problem. Yesterday and today she cannot hear me. Phoning their Head Office does not yield any success either as nobody answers there.

Food tastes great but R100 for Lamb Korma & I received only 3 blocks of meat? Ridiculous. I love curry & I love this place but value for money doesn’t apply here.

Lovely bunny chow. Pity about the foil ball you get it wrapped in which is very difficult to eat out of. Should have an option for clients sitting down just outside on the public seating area in front of it. Sometimes the others of your party doesnt want to have Indian food and then they get nice take away plates to eat in from the other places while you have to struggle with your ball of foil. Lol

Had chicken roti. Most pathetic dry tasteless chicken in yesterdays roti. Worst thing you can buy with R50. Rather drive to Athlone and treat yourself at Wembley Roadhouse for an unforgetable freshly made roti.

Visited the resturaunt today. It was a bit small with little seating,so it is more like a takeaway place. However the food is amazing and the naan bread. The owner is also a very social person and you feel welcome. You dont have to wait long for seats to open if you want to go sit down and enjoy the place.

Ordered lamb bunny chow and veg curry, both were very disappointing. Could not finish the food, lamb was under cooked with lots of bones. I went back and suggested to the lady that the lamb was under cooked and her response was I sell lot of lamb every day and no one complaint ever. Stay away.

Really loved their food. Can say that for me so far they are the best autentic Indian restaurant in Cape Town. Their Malabar Fish Curry was delicious. Amazing that they have the Indo-Chinese menu as well 😊. Deffinetely will come there again! Thank you Guys!
