I go here often normally very happy. Yesterday we all received ice cold food. They went to microwave it. Got a soggy mess back. Complained again. Only then the manager came to speak to us and offered fresh chips

Had a breakfast here a while ago and the food and coffee was delicious.

Got food poisoning from the breakfast that I ate. Not only me but my cousin as well. That manager did not acknowledge that the food was off or that the chips or oil was old. Cost me alot of doctors bills and medication. Will not go back to them again. PS.. Its the one next to Pick n Pay. Rather go to the one at the food court. That manager apologized and was willing to listen. Sorry I can not remember your name but thanks for understanding.

Good service, enjoyed coffee whilst my colleague had a burger for takeaway.

Bad service, waited to be taken to my table at the door for almost 5mins. Got served with the menu and sat for nearly 10mins with no assistance. I just simply walked out the waitresses are nonchalant, and dont give a damn at all regarding their customers.Im definitely never going back there again.

Ordered via the wimpy app to pickup on my way home. Got to the store half hour later and they didnt get my order although payment was taken.Had to wait another half hour. Got a soda and apology from the manager. Pity.

22 APRIL 2021Ordered food from the N1 City food court branch at 17:37, they called to tell us at 18:30 that the food was ready and would be collected by the driver and we only got it at 19:20 and aside from having had to wait over an hour and a half for our food that they also forgot our milkshake, not impressed this time round.UPDATE 4 MAY 2021Still no response from them! This is really poor, we are owed our money back or a replacement for what we paid for and didnt receive!This is not how a business is run. When you have a simple issue you get it sorted with your customers. Not ignore them when they bring up a simple issue.If I could have give 0 stars I would have. Will never order from them ever again. We would rather support the branches who actually get back to their customers and care about providing top service.

Mondays 2 for 1 breakfast. Always delicious but a bit of a wait today because its school holidays.Real value for money. We ordered extra bacon and toast though. But still bill was under R100 with tea.

We took our children for a meal today. It was great. Children enjoyed it. Only complaint I would have is the back room, which used to be for smoking has a really loud extractor fan. Perhaps the area should be upgraded to make it more appealing and in line with the rest of the restaurant. It was pretty full today but I will make sure that in the future we dont sit right at the back, we would rather wait for a table in the front than rather endure a rather noisy extractor fan.

Service is hit and miss at this Wimpy. Sometimes you get good, friendly and fast service and sometimes you get very slow and unfriendly service. The food however is always good and value for your money. They have lots of good specials any time you go to Wimpy. My favourite is the 2 milkshakes for R 50 on a Sunday.

Been sitting here waiting for a simple coffee for almost 30min now. Service is shocking. Seems like no one knows what is going on here. At least tell us why we are waiting so long. No answer. This Wimpy can learn from the Cape Gate one. Manager always on the floor making sure things get done. ...oh finally got my coffee while typing this. 27min later.

Ordered from N1 city wimpy over uber eats. The crumbed chicken burger the patty was so hard i almost broke my tooth biting into it! It was pale and old! The hot chocolate and cappuccino didnt even arrive, driver says he asked them about it but they just said no theres no drinks. Honestly so over wimpys food thats just getting worse and worse. Go have a look at hello peter and see what the people are saying about branches all over SA same thing. Also tried to send this complaint in over the wimpy website and tried to phone the customer care nr and it doesnt even work!

I will never step foot here again. I waited a while 50 minutes for my breakfast. In that time I had to see 3 tables get their food and all three tables came in after me. This is horrible service, I will never support Wimpy again

I ordered a kiddies meal and 2 grilled chicken and steak meals via MrD and there was no toy for my daughter and not even a straw for her milkshake and she waited a hour and kept asking when it would arrive. Do you guys not include salt or any sauce sachets on the grilled meals with chips i ordered either or is that an additional charge. No cutlery when cutlery was requested. Disappointed and sadly will not even attempt to go into the actual store to place a order. Regardless of whether it is a month end weekend and you might have been busy, orders should be checked by person dispatching the order not so?

Visit Wimpy N1 city. Staff very friendy, food is fresh but no, wimpy is no longer one of my favourite restaurants due to expensive rate.

Been visiting this Wimpy for more than 24 years now. Our favorite waitress Connie, was one of the very first people to hold and cuddle both my son, Joshua and daughter, Amy when they were practically newborns.She is family to us and the Wimpy has always given amazing food and service.

Got to the entrance and we were told to pick anywhere to sit as the entire place is now non smoking. It was full in front so we sat close to the back (the old smoking section) . We sat there waiting for almost 30 minutes before a waitress came to help us. She apologised saying that she is sorry but she was on lunch. After we had placed out orders our coffee came pretty quick however it was 30 minutes before the food came. The food was ok except for the meat being pretty bland and the fact that we had to finish our coffee before the food arrived as it was getting cold already. It then took forever to get the bill and even longer for the waitress to go and fetch a card machine for us. The only reason for the 2 stars is because the food wasnt too bad once it arrived.

My husband enjoyed his food but mine was not so good. Lettuce was old, no butter for toast and cold coffee.

2017-05-10 It seems like they were under staffed and the Wimpy were three quarters full. My son and i got a table after waiting a minute but what seemed like they nearly forgot we were there i placed my order after 5 minutes but only after i nearly had to wave around for service. Didnt wait to long for the food to arrive and that itself were nothing to complain about. Not the biggest Wimpy around and not reccomended if youve got free range children.(no playground inside)

Worst experience in my life. When we already sat at one of the tables a group of ederly people wanted to sit at our table. We couldnt enjoy our breakfast as they refused to sit at another table and watched us and gave grudges as we had to eat our breakfast very quickly. The manager didnt even explain or apologise. Definitely not going eva.

This place is all about Location, shop until you drop and then go very nearby for an excellent cheap good meal.
