I had their sushi for the first time around 2/3 years ago and I have been going back ever since. Li is so friendly and the sushi is so good, especially for the price point. I would suggest going there and getting the sushi fresh as opposed to ordering it through a delivery service. I will always recommend this place!

Firstly the food is good quality for money. The food is always warm. I am a regular at Lis Kitchen. Some things to consider is that you have to pay cash. The waiting time can vary but you can phone in a order and just pick the food up for a take away. The quality of the food, although it is generally good, is not always consistent. Generally parking is available close to the shop.

Very full on certain days making waiting for 40-50min but other then that very good sushi

I had the vegetable chow mein and my husband had the cashew nut chicken. Both dishes tasted the same and were really not memorable. The portions were large.I hope that this was just an off day for a restaurant that seems to have got good reviews in the past.

So we order take away sweet and sour chicken and a chicken cashew. Normal right???Well no sweet and sour sauce and no nuts ...

The quality of your food has taken a massive hit, its not as good anymore.Original Review:The sweet & sour chicken or duck with noodles is really good, but I didnt really enjoy your spring rolls or duck chow-mein. Your spring roll needs to be made by someone who actually knows what they are doing. Theyre just awful!

OMW Lis kitchen is the best when looking for quantity in sushi the always have a buy one get one free and apart from that their PRAWN FRIED RICE! is so good on so many levels we live in retreat but drive all the way to them just to have it.

I was very dissapointed with the service today..no ginger no wasabi the prawn spring rolls was oily stuffed with cabage and tiny little prawn in the middle..the chicken and pork chowmain had no flavour..with a few chuncks of meat...if corona was a meal i guess it would be this..what a buzz kill

Lis Kitchen is situated at the Panorama Fisheries complex in Goidwood. The restaurant is simply and uncluttered. The menu is typically Chinese with sushi items thrown in for good measure. The food is great, very tasty and portions are generous. For sit down you can enjoy a buffer at a reasonable price or take away to enjoy at home. Typically Chinese.

This place was recommended by a friend, so we decided to check it out. Absolutely amazing sushi at a very low price. Unfortunately if you want to get a combo, you cant change or remove anything. Was also a little disappointed that I didnt know it was cash only, so I first had to draw money. Other than that though, I loved the place. Ill definitely be going back.

Fantastic Sushi at half price. Buy one and get one free always. We have purchased from them on many occasions and the Sushi has been delicious and fresh each time. Tables and seating is also available should you want to eat at the Sushi restaurant. Parking is plentiful in the parking area of the small shopping complex. While you wait, you can shop at the other outlets.

All the people who said the sushi was good have obviously never eaten good sushi! If you like weirdly sweet rice (tasted like sweetener or something) and unripe avocado then go for it. Im not from the area but gave it a go because of the good reviews here. Not to be cruel, but this is probably the worst sushi Ive eaten in Cape Town.

Great Sushi at even better prices. They also do Chinese food which isnt bad either.... Just be prepared to wait for a while if you are not going to sit down for the all you can eat buffet

Sushi os generally good but portion sizes seems to grow smaller and smaller by the day. Typical Sushi shop with strange decor and lighting but the sushi is good considering the area/surroundings. Service or manor of dealing with clients however can be improved.

No card machine facilities but sushi is good. Have a special running every day, buy one platter, get one free but it works out to the same price as buying a platter that size. Customer service is not great.

More rice than fish on the sushi. But affordable though. Have had better sushi

Good sushi for reasonable prices

I used to love this place but the last time I was there I had to wait 1 hour 30 minutes for our food, then they lady behind the counter forgets to call out our number all the while looking at us. After 2 hours I get up and ask for our food because the shop is now empty to get my food. When I get home and open the food up..... big surprise its ice cold and burnt. I will never buy there again.

Hello Lis, would love to see you offer a better quality noodle (even if it means a price increase) to take your food from nice to great :)

I have been to a lot of sushi places in Cape Town and this one is my favorite. Sushi tastes awesum and it is value for money. The buy one get one free special that is running 24/7 with the platters is the best because you get a lot for only R100. Definitely recommend this to any sushi lover.
