Had the most wonderful and relaxed Saturday lunch with friends at Eight Feet, sitting in the sun on their glorious deck with spectacular views. Everyone was so friendly, service was excellent, lamb pizza unreal and quick... Even though it was busy. And of course the great wine... plus plenty of other beverage options. The concept is great and the buildings have been beautifully constructed. Loved their small shops too. Will definitely be back.

As you drive with beautiful surroundings, you cannot miss this quint place. Made of containers, it amazingly designed for a comfortable pitstop if you travelling the long road or just taking a slow drive through the country. With gorgeous views, great food and beverages, it doesnt disappoint. Also a great story behind the name and the merchandise it sells.

Was very excited to visit Eight Feet Village on our visit to Riebeeck Kasteel this weekend. Was very disappointed, left there with a bitter taste in our mouths. Hubby and me went for pizza. Highly recommended, must be honest it was good. It was raining and quite windy and cold, was looking for secluded place to sit, we went round the corner and saw people sitting in a more secluded setting. Hubby grabbed us a table, before we even could sit down all the patrons look at us if we from mars and laughing at us, an employee, he had a mask and t shirt on with 8 feet village logo come to us and NOT very politely told us we cant sit there because this is a different restaurant. There was nothing, no notice or anything to indicate this. On our way out and feeling very embarrassed, foolish and a lot of other bad feelings and like outcasts we saw the notice bord on the side of the wall hidden away (you can not see it on your way in) stating patrons only for cant even remember the place name... we would have gladly ordered something there if the very polite gentleman had suggested it...but NO we got chased away like common criminals. Very nice to treat your tourist 8th Feet Village, needless to say we will not go back there. Actually want to give it a minus 5 rating but this is not a option if you want your post to be shared so very reluctantly 1 ⭐

We were surprised to see that this place are so beautiful and have a huge variety of alcohol bevarage. The menu on the other hand is very limited to a couple of pizza choices, steak amd salad. They serve ony a medium size and a bit prizy for us like R180 per pizza. You order at the bar container amd then colect your pizza at the bottom container when ready. Nice thin base. Beautiful valley views.

Good food, friendly staff and unbeatable view

The view from the deck which is almost the entire restaurant is absolutely amazing. You can see all the way into the Riebeek valley, and you have a nice view of Riebeek Kasteel. The coffee is good and do try their carrot cake, it is delicious.The atmosphere was so nice, though we were all disappointed on the day having to watch the Bokke loose their game.This is a must stop when you visit the Riebeek Valley.

Wonderful experience and definitely worth another visit or two, and to try the Mura Restaurant

Great outing. Wind was horrible over the lookout tables, and it is a gamble going on a non windy afternoon. Food slightly overpriced and nothing stands out in regards to taste. There are restaurants down in the valley with more affordable dishes that are fantastic. Service was exceptional, from bar staff to those in kitchen.

Were there today. Stunning location and friendly staff. Although, one one we the items we ordered, the 8ft pizza which contained bacon, avo and feta made all of us sick.

Such a lovely place with majestic views. Food and drinks very well prepared and presented with excellent service and clean well kept bathroom facilities.

Stopped for coffee which was good. Weather a bit inclement but the view is awesome. Its a wonderful concept, hope they flourish.

Chef very rude. Order well done eggs. Served us runny eggs. We kindly ask for hard eggs. She said we will wait on all the orderss to be seved.... then she will redo eggs. Half an hour later the eggs arrived still runny.

The only thing great there is the view of the Riebeeck Valley. I had the grilled fish and my husband the petit pouson. The grilled fish was one fillet of I&J hake with store bought mayo at R150 and my husbands peri peri chicken was tasteless, burnt but raw at the bone at R210. I was so looking forward to have lunch here for awhile but will not return or recommend the restaurant. I expected more than store bought ingredients. At the price something more could have been done with the food
