I had the chicken pizza with pineapple and the lamb roti wrap with chipsThe pizza was good, a lot has changed since the last time I was here they only allow one of each sauce per customer now so you cant ask for more, why dont they sell it if a customer wants more?First time trying the lamb out as I usually have chicken and Ive never been disappointed, the lamb was not very nice it was crunchy due to being left in the warm rotacery at the bottom so then it becomes crispy and overcooked,Not really happy with this experience,Anyone just walks to the toilet upstairs as well.

OH MY GOSH! Where do I even start.This place is an absolute gem and the best Eastern cuisine in the whole of Cape Town and surroundings, PLUS it is super affordable with generous portions. Very friendly and helpful staff.Only regret I have is that I only just found out about it. Will be back MANY times in the future!Delicious!!!

I know this place gets some flack for low quality mass produced food. My opinion though is that when you go to a place understand what it is you are paying for.I have been here many times and I have never been disappointed. My most recent visit a few days ago was probably the best. The chicken breyani was tasty, this was the best tandoori chicken I have had thus far.I definitely got what I paid for.

A unique Cape town experience that celebrates the Intercultural experience of food.Love the decor- a throwback to Instanbul bazaars.Some of the chefs are quite surly but the food makes up for it.Fair warning- the portions are quite big- share with a friend 😉 Prices quite affordable 😊

The 5star is not for the food but for the experience.That being said the food is nice.Extreamly afforrdable and the shopfiting is quite amaizing. ( a good serving of butter chicken with rice, dul and salid. And a good serving of josh rogan lamb curry, rice, dul and salad. Both for just R 140 )Sit down self service.

My absolute fave is the Indochinese chicken fried rice. My dad usually orders curry and I take some of his lentil dal and pour it over my fried rice. Eastern Food Bazaar also offers ice cream made in-house in an assortment of flavors. The Strawberry and Chocolate Almond are winners.

The Mango Lassi is a MUST! Had it in such a long time just gulped it all up, when I got it.😋 Tried the Chicken Fried Rice and it was worthwhile, tasty...every grain of rice. Lamb Swharma was also nice but left more to desire with the minimal flavouring. Chicken Pizza was decent too.

This place is unbelievable and unbeatable.. If someone is cribbing to eat Indian, i would say u cant find a better place than this.. As i was here in Cape-town for few days when a local friend advised me to try this place and now i know why.. the menu has everything one needs and the taste was unexpected.. Also the locals having the counter and serving food are pretty friendly and nice.. dont miss out if you visit Cape town..

I quite enjoyed the vibe of the place, it was a bit loud and busy but it it was such a good change of atmosphere compared to your average restaurants. There are so many options to choose ranging from Chinese food to Indian cuisine. Food is very reasonably priced and is great value for money. Portion sizes are quite big compared to what I was expecting based on the prices. My family and I enjoyed our experience, we would definitely go back again. The manager was also really friendly and accommodating, I appreciated that.

Best pizza ever and good customers service

I will not miss my shawarma whenever i am in Capetown. The best shawarma ever. I am yet to get any other shwarama that tastes as great. Dont go back before tasting the best shawarma ever either chicken beef or lamb you will enjoy . Also try any of their various dishes on the menu.

All I can say is wow. Flavours are still stuck to my clothes from the freshly produced food. Great portions and well priced.

Took my family of 6. The food was great, even though the younger kids havent learned to enjoy exotic foods. It wasnt all that expensive and there was a lot of food. The shwarma was awesome!

If you stay in the center of Cape Town you can literary take a walk to the Eastern Food Bazaar. You will have a lot to choose from. Grab a bite with friend or a full meal with family. It is child friendly and quite safe.

Its a chaotic, yet efficient restaurant where you can get an exotic taste at reasonable pricing.First order and pay, and then take your slip to the relevant counter and collect your food order. The system is simple and the chefs work hard to turn around orders at high speed, though with the massive traffic volumes, that can be hard to do.Meals are served in generous portions and newbies should rather order one to share - they dont do half-portions.Theres a toilet and seating area both downstairs and (steep) upstairs, so be careful when walking up there with your food.

Our walking tour guide told us this is where he eats with his family every Sunday. This was a wonderful experience in international foods with a local fare. We were warned to watch our pockets as things tend to disappear out of them here... and I guess the recommendations were correct as the was as lot of signage with the same warning. You must pre-pay at the cashiers before you order. We loved our curry chicken and rice dish, followed by mango and coconut ice cream.

The lamb schwarma is absolutely delicious and filling. Served in a roti or pita bread...with chips on the side. I love going there as the prices are right as well.

Food is good, you can get a lot out of your money. Food range is specifically Eastern but vary tremendously - Desserts flavours also vary vastly. Enough seating area to accommodate large groups - there is an additional seating area upstairs as well which ofcourse does not accommodate for people in wheelchairs. Decor and music match the Eastern theme of the restaurant. Calm, warm, environment. Parking area not provided.

One of my favourite places too go too when Im in town, but yesterday I was disappointed in my meal , I ordered butter chicken and it consisted out of 3 pieces of chicken and alot of sause , small bowl of curry & a large portion of rice .
