After spending 6hrs in the mountains, I needed refueling. Glad I stumbled on Basilico, they had a great lunch special for R75. Thought it would be a tiny portion 😄 but got a pleasant surprise. The meal was freshly prepared and loved that the chicken was super tender. I will be visiting them on a regular after my mountain adventures.

Really lovely place to go to. Great food. Can swap out your side dishes which some of the other branches dont allow. Due to civid they have less staff so wait time is a little long, but if you go there knowing that you will have a good experience

Amazing pasta in generous portion and reasonable price. Prawn fettuccine highly recommended. Didn’t try pizza but if garlic one anything to go by, it will be good. Quick and friendly service. Give them a try if you in the area, won’t be disappointed.

Great airy location. They served lunch special at a reasonable price. We had a big serving of carbonara and a lunch special pizza. The staff service was polite and attentive. Food was also served fast as it was lunch hour. I will be back.

Long-time regulars over the years. Consistently good food, service and atmosphere. Best garlic in Town, and pizza is just the greatest excuse to consume copious amounts of it! Can get busy some early nights with telephone/online orders, so extra staff during these times would be beneficial for sit-down patrons. As such we prefer the later session from around 20h00 onwards.

The best wood-fired pizzas Ive had in the southern suburbs. Theyve become my go-to pizza place. Ive had a delivery-related issue once in the past and they were very responsive to resolving the issue quickly in a satisfactory manner.

We had the most wonderful birthday celebration at Basillico. The food was authentic italian, very tasty and portion size was generous. Pity about the lockdown because its a great venue. They also spoilt the birthday boy with a complimentary malva pudding and ice cream. Lovely evening.

Consistency is not there, speed for a quick bite, although a very few customers, it was very slow to get pizzas and they were not as nice as they used to be, staff is still pleasant. Nice Italian dishes and restaurant

Food is amazing. Flavourful. Service is bad. Waiters accent too heavy. They speak too fast. Only two waiters on service. Restaurant was fairly busy. Ice Cream with chocolate sauce dessert was not the best. Service can be better.

Great food.lunch special is brilliant

Ordered the same pizza twice in as many weeks. First time the toppings had been made to slide down one side, even though the lamb was okay. The second time there was a lot less lamb and the pizza was cold. For the price its a disaster.

The food is consistently good and the staff are always friendly.The ambience isnt that great, but that can unfortunately not really be improved much given the location.Get anything with feta in the dish, their feta is amazing.

Good wholesome food in a nice setting. We started with the cured meats and garlic pita which was lovely. I then had the delicious bacon and mushroom pasta.

Had a lovely lunch here today. Everybodies meals looked good and wee enjoyed. We had the R70 special and I enjoyed my spinach, bacon, mushroom salad with croutons - although were exactly 2 croutons🤔 Nice little restaurant and service and waitress good. Standard menu looked pretty pricey to me. Lots of parking. We had a good visit so would recommend for the lunchtime specials

I ordered the ravioli which really tasted good. But the serving was not generous; I am used to having leftovers whenever I order pasta but I finished my whole serving. For this reason, at R125.00, I found it over-priced.

Very popular. Pizzas and salads were great. Risotto was average. Suspect it was not freshly made.

Our favourite pizza place and I always order the Basillico with bacon and avocado. The bases are crisp and there is plenty of topping. Their other meals are also great. Try the prawn pasta.

Excellent service and delicious lamb,olive and feta pizza. We were provided with a heater and blankets to keep snug on a chilly night. The red wine and cuppachino was great! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Better than expected. Does not look like much from the outside, but found it to be quite cozy and a good-easy-no-fuss for a nice catch up with an old friend over a generous bowl of tasty pasta and a glass of red wine.

Greta pizza and great value. Wine is a bit expensive but the food is priced well and delicious. Service above average. The only sown side is its in a busy center and parking is a struggle. I will be back though 🥇

We went for chefs choice on 3 different pizzas and baked meat balls in neopolitana sauce.What a disgrace! The chorizo and red pepper pizza was horrible All ingredients were cheap and nasty the neopolitana sauce was tomatoe paste served unashamedly as chefs choice.Our expectations were high. Poor flavours a paucity of ingredients on the pizzas .A RIP off. They do not demonstrate respect love and care in food prep and service.Paid over R600.Sorry I never went to Jakes next door where you get beautifully prepared food better quality for the same price.Will never go back

Came on a Tuesday night, the place was pretty empty, not sure if things are more vibrant on other evenings though. Service was also fairly slow. Their pizzas are decent. Not sure I would rush back here.

Great food and Tuesday is buy 1 pizza get the cheaper 1 free (for now), but be aware that the service charge is already included.
