We shop at your store because covid protocols are adhered to however i have seen some staff who (not cashiers) come from the back to the store with their noses exposed but on a whole i feel safer than pick n pay mitchells plain.

You will find everything you n3ed there and more...love the staff and very convenient set up...i know where most things are...by heart😙

The most frustrating thing is traveling to PNP Ottery for the great specials on offer to find that there is no stock available as the stock has not arrived yet.They suggest I return before the special expires but cannot tell me when the stock will arrive.Rainchecks do not work as you need to return in any case, nobody calls to say the stock has arrived and if you do return before the special expires you find the stock never ever arrived!!!

Great place but please please clean your trolleys, its disgustingly filthy. Expected more from you guys being such a big concern.

Staff is so unprofessional...the till operator is hosting to ther managers and having ther own conversations...no control from management of sorts..

Lots of parking available. Also host various small boutiques and retails stores under one roof which is great. PS FREE parking is a big plus.

A big shop with nothing in. So little choice. Checkers has better choice. I only go to Ottery Hyper because our Meds are at the Pharmacy.

Was a pleasant shopping experience until it came to being at the till point. A previous customer had waited 15 minutes for a Supervisor to void a transaction. This went on twice with no manager in site. I then went to the customer service desk to request for a manager to assist the customer infront of me this took another 15minutes trying to get her attention. Eventually someone made their way to assist. My concern is that it is festive, cashiers are sitting back to back yet Management is no where to be seen during a busy day when the cashiers requires their assistance.

It was awesome the security lady whos name is Innocent she is a great lady may God bless her.

Great place great service just security keeps a eye on people who looks suspicious which is wrong I speak from experience. Now and again you would get problems with refunds

PnP Ottery Hyper was a good shopping experience. I love that the store is so big and neat. Had friendly service in the TV/Console department. Very good experience.

I tend to pop I here quick often and after giving it a 5 star I unfortunately have to delete that.I just got a killer look from a cashier that was quite upsetting.If only you can listen to what I ask insead of assuming what you want to give me is correct.The tone in her the voice after being corrected was really uncalled for.If you cant work with people go work in a zoo.

Always a pleasant trip to this store. Staff are always polite and helpful. They could improve on the cost of fresh produce as its essential items and should become more affordable to customers. Other than that I prefer frequenting that store as they also have extra loyalty programs that benefits customers.

Coming along nicely as a shopping destination despite the high numbers of people to prefer to frequent malls.It gets very crowded on weekends but other times, you can slip in and be out within minutes if you like.Lots of staff and a wide variety of merchandise, including home electronics and hardware.Not a great furniture selection, but accessible and lots of free parking. Pharmacy in store, gym, ATMs and public toilet all available

Picknpay will always be more pricier than shoprite but their variety is better and theres never any queue

Massive variety of different things . If you wanna shopping for food items , this is one place I would recommend, its big and spacious. And they sell clothing aswell.

Some great specials, however check your till slip to make sure you get the correct discounts for the specials. Otherwise great shopping experience 😌

Vast shopping space with great variety. But spending a long time in a mall of this size invariably creates a need for restroom facilities. Disappointed in the gents stall I used. No seat cover, no toilet paper, dont flush.

Its close by & I feel at home there as Im familiar with the setup of the store...I dont have to search or ask with regards to the whereabouts of the items & always bargains

One of the first malls on the Cape Flats and one of the first having a Hypermarket.Has a variety of stores from clothing, to spices to opticians to eateries. The food court host a Spur, Nandos and other excellent food establishments.Open until 7pm weekdays and also trading on Saturday and Sundays, the mall has ample free secure parking.

What I liked about my visit yesterday, was there was none of the frenetic buzz of people trying to do there shopping in the least amount of time. If this is not you, you can go about your business at your own pace. Love that the place always appear clean and ordered.

For a pnp Hyper this store really doesnt look the part the Deli and the bakery needs a facelift and better a variety of meals on the menu even a sushi bar is needed. Pnp local looks better than Hyper market which is such a shame

I love shopping at hyper but when I went to use the toilets I was left disgusted. No toilets paper and the toilets where dirty

No problem with the PnP but the public toilets are atrocious. Compared to other shopping complexes this one gets 1/10

Not all items are correctly priced. The staff at the tills were not helpful in getting the correct price sticker and tried to charge R229 for an Addis broom priced at R129. Then they get upset because of their incompetence. The Tinkies are on special because some packs are outdated. Expiry date 02 Dec 20 being sold on 06 Dec 20. Surely this is not allowed. Consumers beware. We have enough grief with COVID and dont need Pick n Pay to compound issues by incompetence and flouting consumer regulations. Where is the management to resolve these issues?

I used the atm & that was quick & easy...no queues.The toilets of the center really needs to be upgraded & managed more efficiently.Alot of the equipment needs attention or replacement.

I dont normally go to hypermarket.. I was pleasantly surprised to have had a good experience.. Not like my previous visits..

My experience at hyper is always awesome! However my last visit the lady at the information desk was not to helpful, I lost my card and had to phone in to replace it. The help desk lady was not helpful at all, told me to use my phone to call... I did so the lady at the end of the call asked me why.. Anyway done and dusted

Big store. Always a pleasure shopping here. Can get quite busy at times but the lines move relatively quick.Other than that the store is always well stocked. Watch out for deals advertised in store.

False advertisers. The hyper of all places tells you they dont have stock on items they purposefully advertise on special. It goes against consumer advise and rights to advertise products for the sole purpose of luring customers through your doors. Like the 3x2.5 hullets for R90 or the 3x2kg omo for R120. Simply no stock. Customer makes the trip spends money regardsless. Youre not responsible or held accountable

I purchased a half a lamb on the 25th April 2021. I am so disgusted with the lack I received. Most of the lamb pieces has 90% fat on and it the preparation even after cooking this for more than two hours the meat was so tough. I am really disappointed because I just wasted my money on this lamb. I do think think is an astonishing shame. I will not be purchasing from them anytime soon

Not a good experience at all. It has been a while since I returned to Pick n Pay Ottery and once again I found the store dirty. The aisles in which the fridges are had water trails and puddles of water. It was not loadshedding so unsure what could have caused it. Very hazardous as well to navigate those especially for the elderly. One of the main reasons I had stayed away from Pick n Pay Ottery was due to the condition of the store. Regrettably it does not seem that this has improved at all.

Service is something to be desired. Even the TymeBank operator is missing. No one knows where he is and paging him is not an option. The tillers are rude. And over all staff ignore you if you ask for assistance.

The mall is always clean.

There quality of staff need to be trained the business ethic is weak, start on their phones, talking to each other whilst at the tills and just not nearly dressed and confident in service. However the store itself is packed and has almost everything you need. Including a pharmacy!

The one ablution facility was closed more than half an hour before closing without any notice informing the public. I was desperately in need and kept pushing on the doors trying to open them and ended up asking Pick&Pay staff a out the situation and was told there were more ablutions on the other side of the Centre. What if it were elderly people in need of the ablutions? Very bad service!

I tend to love Pick n Pay Hyper, simply because it has everything under 1 roof.. Now the pricing isnt always great, you could find the eggs cheaper somewhere else but still everything under 1 roof.. Ive never been there and saw a spillage on the floor or gotten any bad smells from previous spilled milk(yes I have experienced that in other red and yellow painted stores🤫), so to me its pretty neat. I love that elderly people now get first privilege, oh and did you see that the smart shopper card can now earn you data?? So cool!Massive parking and for those of you thats never been, there are other stores such as Footgear, Tekkie Town, Soundtech, Indulge(super clean butcher), PNP liqour, a food court, gym etc and again everything under 1 roof lol.. What can I say, I love Hyper!!!

Been shopping here for about 5 years for convenience, good deals, and tasty food. However, PnP needs to seriously train their cashiers in Customer Service. Some of the cashiers can be so extremely sour and downright rude. They make you feel like you are inconveniencing them by being there to pay for your things. I understand that it may not be the most exciting job, but at the very least dont make customers feel like they are working on your nerves just because we need to pay for our stuff.

Waited more than 30 minutes to withdraw money! The cashier tried her best to get money for me from the back but the manager and the lady who was supposed to bring money werent helpful AT ALL! I ended up leaving and withdrawing directly at the bank! Its so pathetic that the person I was supposed to report bad service to witnessed this and did nothing about it!

This is a Hyper - Its Big, Its Busy and has plenty of product. It is time for a re-vamp or upgrade right now as this store feels and seems a bit dated.Otherwise it is ok and i shop here regularly

Friendly service lots of specials

For almost 11years I shop at hyper and really its the best places to do it . For everyday going there I became a famous person🤣am mean friendly welcome friends in every shop I pop in. I did complain about the girl who make me feel not lekker,but customer sort it out. The security I told about the sanitizer things he fix it I dont know. Keep up the good work all stuff we are all big family happy 2021 ahead.
