Everything under 1 roof. Great daily specials. Bought all kids snacks that would cost me much more at a regular store. My kids love their variety of noodles. Daily essentials like eggs are very well priced.

You want to save on your monthly food bill go there, but if you expect a Woolworths experience it is far from it. But having said that I always get what I need and with the money I save it is well worth it. I wouldnt drive from Hout Bay to Cape Gate if it wasnt worth my effort?

Its big and not exactly tidy, but sells just about everything, and if you keep an eye open there are usually some really good buys to be had. Usually enough free parking with quite good security. Worth a drive especially if you intend to shop for quite a lot.

The shopping experience here would have been so much better if there were a cashier who was friendly. Today I had one who had an issue helping me after I asked if her till was open or closed. Perhaps I should not have asked the question and merely assumed she was just sitting there waiting to go home? So I just walked to the next one. Cashier Customer Service at this place is non existant. Terrible to face this after your own long day...

Giants Hyper Cape Gate is always a pleasant shopping experience. (Most times) their products are more affordable than elsewhere. You always find what you are looking for whether its for bulk buying or just day-to-day groceries. Products are of good quality as well. I dont shop anywhere else.

Very friendly staff that works on the floor and in the little take away/cafe. Cashier was a bit cold... for a big warehouse that you can get anything in bulk or single it is kept cleaner than i expected. Amazing cheap prices!!!

As this specific Giants has a nice retail section with awesome prices, Its become my spot for my monthly shopping. Specials galore and if you have a sweet tooth, you will lose your mind at the entrance 😁 they also have a bakery and butchery in store. Ample parking.

The selection is massive, although structurally speaking things are a little too chaotic for my liking. Prices are unbeatable in some instances, although it can take up to half an hour to get everything you need as the isles are quite cramped with a lot of customers flooding different shelves. Very friendly staff at the till made up for any frustrations rummaging through the store :) 4 / 5 stars will return again and frequently if I manage to find a quieter time to shop.

Overwhelming, a huge amount of stock and variety of bulk items, overall the awesome savings to be had and also do put on some some comfy shoes because it is quite a trek..

Its a fascinating place, there is literally so much of variety of food products! Prices are good and always stock on the shelves. Watch out here for sell by dates (either past date or short dated items), however the shop does advise accordingly in this. They have a retail area and a bulk wholesale area. The butchery is one of the highlights, good selection and always fresh with great service and attention to detail!

They dont stock on time while youre shopping theres people packing with big crates that you cannot walk properly because they are blocking the way

Ok you might be thinking this place is the same as the other bulk buy stores but you are sorely mistaken. I bought some random things here just because I really wanted to see what it was like inside and _WOOOW_ Its nice. We tried new things and were happily surprised (if you find milk rusks buy them) we got some greatly priced kitchen and loadshedding supplies and the veggies that I had very low expections for were actually fresh and delicious. This place will make your pocket happy while still giving you that freedom of choice 🌃😏

When you go wear warm clothes.I always buy cheese here and tin dog food. Also chocolate and chewy sweets, quite a variety

Know your prices, some items at give away price, most below average price and a few items expensive. Normally marked as such but there are a few items close to best before date.

Ok so this is definitely not an amazing place to spend your free time. But the prices of all groceries are generally cheaper than normal shops. It is really great if you want to save money. The workers are also very helpful most of the time. It gets quite full at peak times.

Love shopping here. Get most of my groceries at a good price. You need to know your prices before going so you can compare. They usually highlight if something is going to expire soon so just be aware. Their fresh meat products are good too. I have received friendly service and excellent prices. Worth a visit.

The reason people shop at a Wholesaler is because they want to save at Wholesale prices and cut out the retailer middle-man. Simple not Obvious.

What a dissapointing experience!! Would much rather shop at our local shops like Econo Foods in Somerset West.. Giant hyper was a huge disappointment for me! Rude staff and dirty shop. At Econo Foods in Somerset West, we are always welcomed in such a welcoming manner and their prices are even better than Giant Hyper. I was looking forward to buying monthly shopping at your store but left empty handed because of the rudeness of staff. Only thing they are worried about is masks and temperature readings.. I like a store that is friendly and Giant Hyper has no friendliness or joy whatsoever :( Rather train your staff to be happy and friendly than be so focused on covid regulations that they forget to even smile! The store has a dreaded atmosphere because of that...

Fresh beef excellent quality, prices generally are competitive with many bargains available.Fresh fruit and veggies not the best. I had a bad experience with rotten eggs, but after a too doo it was amicably sorted. Staff are usually very helpful and polite.

I always find way more than I go for when I visit this store. I love the international candy, sweets, chocolates and cookies. Kinda bummed that they no longer sell the hersheys chocolate but the cookie dough kit kat makes up for it.

Giant Hyper is for bargain shoppers. Their variety and layout has substantially increased over the years and we will often to there than down the road. We love their sweeties selection for parties. Note peak shopping hours and month end gets very busy. We did learn that when shopping in bulk once off call to confirm stock and run in to get the goodies, instead of placing the order. Most staff are helpfull and Management is very openly strict. We go to Giant Hyper as they have value for money when the budget is more than tight.

I buy in bulk like chicken, pastas and aviennas, as we do ministry in Westcoast... we feed as we minister, and Giants has made it possible for us to feed much more... great products and affordable... we shop around 4 to 5.5K per week. And its a dream with what we get for that amount of money
