Steak and Cheese Tamazini tasted like a gatsby, good portions, Waiters need abit more training though - i ordered a Hazel Nut Latte that never arrived nor added to my bill but no stress.

Best find so far, a gem of a Restaurant with really good halaal food and fresh ingredients, wholesome food. Dress casual or dolly yourself up for that date night. This place serves amazingly good meals.What brings me back is the flakey rooti, made like it should be, no shortcuts here, original and flakey, just likey mom used to make. The Best Rooti ever made. Owner and staff team are friendly. Thumbs up to chef, kitchen staff and person making drinks, Good sized Portions and mouth watering presentation, with creative plating. The drinks are so amazingly presented, well worth ordering. Picture perfect indeed. The mint and mango smoothie as well as strawberry daqueri are my favorites. Cool place for couples on a first date or any date. Cosy. They also have desserts and cakes and amazing chocolate waffles, yum yum. Pies are made and served in a pie dish, big enough for two, tasty enough for one very hungry person to enjoy with satisfaction.

Tashreeqas cakes are definitely not worth purchasing. The quality is definitely not what it use to be, they should consider removing cake emporium off their name. Bought cake thrice on different occasions, months apart thinking they might have had a bad baking day or changed their cake supplier, I am utterly disappointed, chocolate cheesecake was burnt and tasted a week old.

We attended a set menu special birthday celebration for 20 people, there service and food were all round excellent !

After nearly a year going back to treat my 5 year old granddaughter for her first high tea was suburb as the waitress really made this an eventful n memorable experience. Shukran your coffee shop has never disappointed me as the food are always fresh, tasteful n affordable

First time visit with bro and sister. Seating is ample and the atmosphere is welcoming with full aircon to keep the air cool. The waiters are professional and attentive with special care to be friendly and courteous. The food. My word. The food was absolutely beyond this world. Smoothie too. A definite place to visit. And a plus is that they fully halaal!

Menu wasnt great. Cake tasted like something bought at Pnp. Fries werent great either nor was the pasta. It had way too much sauce. Overall defn a below average experience. Actually got burgers afterwards at steers

TASHREEQAS HAS STILL NOT RESPONDED TO OUR EMAILS! I placed my complaint over a month ago! Bloody poor customer services man!We placed our order at 15:32 and only received our meal at 16:43. Before ordering we waited in front at the register (no queue in front of us) for just over 5 minutes to be seen to even with waiters active on the floor to the point that we had to call out the waitress to see to us after she walked right past. Upon receiving our order, our chips were hard, undercooked, and had gone cold. My Tandoori crumbed chicken was burnt and chewy. Sections of it resembled the texture of biltong. My husband purchased a Full masala steak tramezini, it had minimal cheese, the egg itself was burnt and the meat was extremely dry. His chips too were hard, undercooked and his meal was cold. I never had a bad experience at Tashreeqas, however, this particular incident was FAR below basic standards. Ive sent an email both on the website and via gmail over a week ago and Ive still recieved no response. Quite disappointed, we drove out all the way and out of every restaurant in Cape Town, we selected Tashreeqas only to have been disappointed.

Met a dear friend. He ordered and I shared his pot of tea. Cannot comment on the food. Tables were not properly wiped down. Not my favourite place, but there are not many halal eateries in Cape Town.

Went for coffee and dessert and everything was terrible. I expected much more. The cheesecake tasted like lemon meringue and the coffee was below average. Had to ask for the bill numerous times (waited around 15 mins even though the restaurant wasnt that busy). Definitely wont be coming back.

Really amazing place, the service was excellent and the food is delicious. What a nice halaal place where the staff seem to be treated well, theyre happy and are generally willing to serve. The portion sizes are good too, the food is so wholesome. I love Tashreeqas. The food was so good we had to leave without ordering dessert becuase we were nice and full 😂👌🏿 my family and I will definitely be back, Ill bring friends too

The waiter was not friendly. We called before we went they advised they close at 10 . We got there at 9 just for desserts . She told us in a very rude manner that we have until half past to eat up and go because they now closing half past. I was very satisfied with the desert it was delicious. We rushed to eat up and left noticing other people were sitting comfortable and waiting on orders .

I saw a disturbing thing on Tuesday while being there. Im not blaming the restaurant, though, but gosh, there was a baby crawling on the floor. The mom placed the baby on the floor, and my brain could not handle it. I couldnt wait to get out of there.

Food is always tasty however they have skimped on the extras they had before like a bit of bread with the pasta or even a little bit of salad with the steak platterYou can either choose salad or chips with the steak but if you choose chips then plate comes without garnish and does not look visually appealing..

Pasta is good, chicken wings are amazing, waffles are nice so I suggest sharing. Only problem is the service could use a little work. My fiancé asked for chocolate ice cream and got vinilla instead.

Nice place for a quick lunch date or to host a venue for a function. Food is affordable and portion size is good. Service is good and the seating area is ample. It is Fully halaal and coffee and cakes are available for take away. They are closed on a Sunday. Definitely recommend

Had breakfast with some school friends. Place very busy however Covid rules definately not followed. This was very disappointing. People walking in and out and not sanitizing. The waiters are watching this but not doing or saying anything. Food not bad at all.

Food service and atmosphere absolutely fantastic

The food is nice and worth the price. 3 stars is due to the slowness of the service. It takes a very long time from placing to receiving your order. Theres also the issue, where at a table of 6 we each received our food at different times and where the last ones (one being a salad), received their food when the first recipients were done with theirs. Certainly not great when youre out as a group. Will do another visit, to confirm and review this rating, if it improves.

The service was horrible. Waited an 1.5 hours for a pancake and the waitress kept coming to ask us if we ordered pancake, like 5 times. The waffle was clearly roasted and they gave it to me anyway. Had to send it back. Overall service and waiting period pathetic. Wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

This is a quaint restaurant hidden in the suburbs which is a great place to meet friends or family or even go on a date. The food is lovely and not too bad priced. Its fully halal so I know I can have anything on the menu

Always enjoy coming here! The food is freshly prepared and portions are hearty🌸 Never had a terrible experience, but our server brought out incorrect orders to our table. On two accounts. Not sure of they were new or inattentive, but it was not that big of a deal as it was all still very delicious! Be prepared - this place gets hectic busy during peak hours. There is seating for large groups and couples alike. All in all a really fab place to catch up or to celebrate! 😸😸

Very nice atmosphere. Perfect for breaking away from work to enjoy a good cup of coffee and a desert. Has enough room to pull out your laptop and catch up on reading while waiting for your order. Saturday evenings though it can be crowded and noisy but in a good way. Local members of the community enjoying themselves and catching up. Awesome venue Id recommend it.

OK... So in my previous review... I said I love the prawn salad and I do. Its the best Ive had so far. This coming from someone who eats out on a regular basis... Now add to that lemon meringue. Oh my... Cake heaven. Would definitely recommend!

Good food. The milkshakes are okay. Im just a bit disappointed in my chicken and mayo sandwich. There was no flavor whatsoever. Other than than Tashreeqas is a b good place to have supper with the family. Just make sure to try their coffee milkshake. Its seriously nice

Finally got to eat here this past weekend after hearing about this place years ago. The food was very easy on the eye, the tongue and wallet. Will definitely be going back! Please keep this institution at the level that makes it just that.. an institution :)

Not very impressed.Place was very noisy. Waited half an hour for waiter to take our order.Food was Good.

After a night out my friend and I went to catch a chow there on the 16th of November. Food was great and staff friendly. Cant falter them on anything. Only challenge we faced was with the payment. They had one machine that could not work and we had to scurried off to get to an ATM and pay in cash. Who needs this after an excellent night out.

Fantastic, cozy little restaurant with a good selection of meals and drinks. Fully halal and fairly priced catering to the person dining alone, the couple, golden girls out for Sunday afternoon tea or the family celebrating a special day. Hours are great and meals are freshly prepared. The downside is that it can become quite a bit crowded and very noisy. Large groups with children can be a bit noisy with constant bustling through the restaurant. Apart from that, offers a great dining experience.

One of my favorite coffee places. The food, cake, service and of course coffee is excellent. Because of this, theyve been around for quite awhile and have many loyal customers. I cannot fault them on anything at this point in time.

Horrible service. No one served us. I asked for our own menu. Had to get up and order our own food and the waitress had an attitude. This happened 30 minutes after we were seated.

Food is ALWAYS cold.Family can never eat together.Half of them done while the others are still waiting for there food. Tramezzinis and sandwiches are literally broken in the plate.Cant even lift up a full slice because it broken into 3 parts.Presentation of food so untidy and unappertizing!Waiters especially the lady, so unfriendly. Never smiles or checks in at the table yet you get charged a 10% service charge for the waiters service.Not worth my money!For some reason they have decided to drop there standards....iv been going there for years. No more!

My experience with Tashreeqas was always a great one... But of late the service quality has dropped slightly... Please improve in this regard to get a higher rating from me I guess. Come on we know you can do it!!!

Service was terrible. My mix grill was missing the chicken, there was hair in my wife’s soup and she had to wait till the end for her strawberry milkshake. We had to wait an hour for our food, my son and brother received their food only an hour and a half later. The waitress said that their food was “on the way” for more than an hour. The chicken in my daughter’s butter-chicken was drowning in sauce. The food was also a bit cold and bland. My son’s meat was also underdone and the waitress didn’t ask how he wanted his meat to be grilled. Definitely will not come here again and will not recommend it to others.
