Aneesas Athlone, I strictly just buy from this branch. There food are Fantastic, however I think its Ridiculous the amount of chips that you get in the parcel. The chips are becoming lesser and lesser. I even asked already and the answer stays the same, Ive given you more than what I should have

Worst food I have ever eaten.. I dont know how did I come to know that they make the the best take away foods.. All false..... It has absolutely no taste.. Tried and regretted. Rather head to Golden Dish by Gatesville

The food was great. However they only process your phone order once you pay, its a really long wait for the times that they are busy. But as they say good food takes time.

Steak masala gatsby is a winner

On 8 September 2021 at 19:50, I called to place an order but a really rude person answered the call. When I greeted and asked how he was, he sarcastically responded that he was bad. When I asked why he would respond that way, he said that I asked and that was therefore his response. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he is the manager. Hope they are sent for a course on phone etiquette. It shouldnt take much to be kind to others.

Popped in there last night, got the masala steak gatsby, 1 chicken salomie and one mutton. When we got home my chick locked herself in the bedroom with the mutton one, so we are not on good terms today. Food was amazing, for super.

You have to be patient as somethings takes long to prepare

Full steak sandwich is Devine.

Always the perfect late night snack, lazy Sunday lunch or after work pick-me-up. This is a community favourite. Prices are reasonable and flavours are good. Beware though, these foods do not do well as tomorrows breakfast. Although a few seconds in the microwave bring it to life, it cannot salvage the cardboard-feeling chips. But if youre in the area, make a turn around here. Its really a great time!

We had high expectations and the masala steak gatsby didnt deliver

I was disapointed with the service always waiting long for my order and when it arrives what i asked for is not done either thensauce is wrong or something .

We have recently relocated from JHB and could not wait to taste the famous Gatsby in Cape Town.. We were sorely dissapointed ☹️

The place looks beautiful with its new revamp. The food is a bit little for the price they charge compare to what it use to be. The quality of the food is good tho.

Im not bashing the meal, but I had a double hot dog and all Ill say is,Its not Wembleys double hot dog. There was much to be desired and it felt so thrown together😔something I could have done at home. Nott only did I order the double hot dog but I ordered two chicken samosas and it was served cold🤷🏽‍♂️ who serves cold samosas? Only time it should be cold is when it comes out the fridge.

Usually you expect it to be good but it tasted old and stale. Bought it just before 8pm the evening. Probably why. Roll was the only thing fresh.

Delicious food but waiting time is like taking a power nap, waking up and then only getting your order. I suggest phone order.

More than one occasion rolls were stale

Very bad service. I order two sauces however only got one.  Bought a pie that was so dry it must of been very old, choked on it while eating. The portion of chips was small and covered in small burnt pieces. The worse thing of all touching my chips with no gloves, which is the deal breaker for me so wont be supporting them again. Viennas looked like they were double heated or fried or over fried. I had it spicy and to top it off it wasnt even a flavour I could taste. Should have just bought an alternative meal. Very disappointing.

A bit more pricy than other takeaways but I thinks its worth the price. I had a steak sandwich and it was the best fast-food steak sandwich I ever had. Will definitely go back.

Ordered a polony gatsby via phone order. Collected the gatsby only the wrapping was warm, gatsby was cold, and dried out. Absolutely horrible. Aneesas push up prices and lowers quality of their food, and this is not the first time that they have failed to deliver. They have dropped the ball. Will not buy buy them again.

I ordered food from Uber eats and aneesas they eventually deliver it but Aneesas klipfontein sends me the wrong order.aftet they already took my money they now giving me the run around and refused to reimburse me. I paid r160 for my order but the order that was delivered was less than r90 and when I call to put in a complaint about the order they then give me the run around and hang up the phone when I call. I will never order from this pathetic service again

Always good food lekka

The steak was tender and juicy, every inch of it. The chips was fried well and spiced sufficiently. The only thing was the serving container was foam when I said Id be eating there. I expected to be served with plates or a platter since we ordered a platter meal. The rolls should be Hamburger instead of hotdog rolls especially when youre serving steak, mini steak and eggs. Otherwise it was worth it.

Consistently good for so many years. I have never been disappointed. Still the best vienna and chips parcels in Cape Town.

Ordered a Gatsby at 3.30pm and I am still waiting for it. The time is 6.50pm right now. Everytime I call they place me on hold and nobody helps me. Very disappointing take aways. Would rather go to Golden dish in Gatesville.

They have the best hot chips ever and everything is just so tasty and shop is so clean and they have an awesome manager Mr Washeem

Ordered a gatsby with peri peri sauce and when I got the gatsby there was only peri peri spice on it and no sauce. It was delicious but would have tatsted better with the sauce though.

Every time I come from Pretoria our 1st stop is at Aneesas the Best Vienna and chips Alhamdulillah

Take away store opposite The Athlone stadium. One of the better places to buy spicy samoosas and a top quality salomie. Always enjoy whatever I buy there. Nice friendly service and prices reasonable.22/11/2019: Had a full house Masala Steak sandwich there. I could feel my cholesterol increasing but it was great! Do yourselves a favour and buy there. Lovely food.
