Probably one of the best run South African government institutions. Unfortunately I cannot rate zero stars, or less than one full star, so it is a bit too much, but due to no other option, the NHBRC gets one full star. Leading the pack in South African government run institutions.

Busy with applying for exemption. My emails are all answere within 24 hours with proper answers. Even got an anser on a Sunday evening within 2 hours of sending an email!!! I am pleasantly surprised by the good feedback. Will just have to see about the rest of the process.

If you want a response message them on Facebook, I got a reply in 3 days. Service was pretty good actually.Got an assessor out the next week, apparently this crack is not major enough so they wont help me. Im not happy but good luck fighting the government.[Website is useless, no-one responded to me in the last month.]

Trust me, the address that is listed, 38 Maestricht St, De Bron, Cape Town, 7530 is not the address for NHBRC. It is in Vineyard Office Estate off Jip de Jager.

Response is extremely poor, does not answer calls, impossible to get to speak to anybody

Worst service, I can never get hold of a consultant via telephone and via email. Waiting so long for a certificate.

I cant believe that a large institution like NHBRC can only have one incoming line. Its an eternal struggle to get through to someone who can help you. All the answering machine can say is Sorry the extension is busy please record your message.
