Im not a fan of fish but I love hake, so I definitely had to try Fintastic.The fish was moist, lightly seasoned and grilled to perfection. I wanted to enjoy a somewhat healthy takeout meal. When it comes to the chips, they took the soap chips to heart, which wasnt great for me. I prefer chips with a bit of crunch and definitely with more seasoning. My mom said the prawns were delicious in the lemon butter sauce, they were juicy and tender.The owner of Fintastic is a lovely lady who had employed other women. Im all for women empowering women so Ill degin be back for crisper chips. Overall, good food at an affordable price.

Im so disappointed at the quality of their food. The weekend they opened we had their fish and it was so amazing. The 2nd time it was not that great. Me giving them the benefit of the doubt and wanting to support local I went for a 3rd time and it was horrible. The chips were awful, it was so greasy and some werent even cooked properly through. The fish was soggy and not fresh and since then I havent ordered from them. Tonight I ordered from a place in Wynberg called Southern Fried Chicken Wynberg Wynberg on UberEats... Come to find out, its actually Fintastic fisheries. I find this really deceiving. If I knew it was them I wouldnt have ordered from them. I also highly doubt they fry their chicken in separate oil because my chicken had a fishy after taste, and yet again, the chips and chicken were of a very poor quality. The poor quality of food and lack of transparency is a deal breaker for me.

Had from your food last night, trying to support, local business but how disappointed I was. The fish was soggy, half the chips were burnt black and the other half tasted like it was heated up again. Can say that i am truly disappointed as this is what i had to give my family for supper...I will not be ordering from this service again.

I got some food on the Bolt app . Firstly when your order food from a fish and chips place they don’t give you and option if you want salt and vinegar or any other spice. The presentation is ok a 6.5 out 10 . The food is tasteless and bland and the chips drenched in oil. The chicken wings on the menu should read winglets so you know hat you getting no a full wing. That to is oily and tasteless. Won’t order from this place again I should have read the reviews first.

Very disappointed in the fish and calamari. Fish wasnt fresh and calamari was soggy. Bought hotdogs for the kids and the Vienna was definitely bit off. 2nd time buying food here, unfortunately wont be a 3rd time.

Decided to try this fisheries out only to be highly disappointed and abit disgusted to be honest.The fish was rubbery and had a really weird smell, the chips was hard and chewy like it wasnt fresh at all and was just warmed up in the microwave.Wont be buying here again ever again.

Worst food I have ever had in my life, I couldnt stomach it.Avoid eating here at all costs, its Visfabrieks cheap stuff being cooked up.

Ordered off bolt foods this evening at 18:45, order was ready at 18:51🤔…a meal that usually takes anything between 15 - 20 minutes to make, which makes sense coz the chips were refried, calamari was dipped in last months oil. Left a foul taste in my mouth. On the plus side, i didnt need anything to drink coz the oil from the meal washed everything down 🤢🤮 0/5 will never buy again

Such FINTASTIC food ! So happy that I could order through Mr Delivery. The fish was incredibly well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The chips are crispy and yummy. Will definitely recommend ! May your business grow from strength to strength in sha Allah.

So glad to have a proper fish and chips shop in the south Im excited to try more of their products the value for money is brilliant especially with the completion in the road

Ordered Fish, Calamari & Chips through Bolt foods and the Calamari tasted rotten 🤢🤮🤢🤮 very disappointing wont get anything there again.
