I thought this might be an issue, so I phoned in and was promised by the call center agent my parcel would be delivered within working hours today.4:30pm, no delivery.4:45pm, getting anxious, I phone call center, no answer.5:00pm still dialling off the hook. No answer.My question is this:HOW THE H#LL CAN ANYONE BE THIS USELESS?Judging by the other review on Google I am by no means the first to have this experience.All it would take is ONE PHONE CALL to notify me the driver wont be able to make it.But not answering your calls during office hours and not fulfilling your promises to arrive on time, is UNACCEPTABLE. I will write to everyshop.co.za and let them know they need to change courier partners otherwise they wont get a cent more from me.

Amazing service by Staci and the wonderful lady at reception. Both these ladies were the true meaning of what excellent customer service is all about. Friendly, kind, efficient, patient and even went the extra mile by making sure that we had our documents in order and made an extra copy for our safe keeping. I have been tracking my parcel all week, yesterday it finally showed out for delivery and I waited all day only to find they have updated the tracking to say that I was unavailable /not home to receive the parcel! This is not the first time that this has happened with skynet courier service!!!When I try calling the guy in the international department never answers the calls either. Really bad service

Skynet Express has partnered with Droppa. Booked a collection on Tuesday 02 Feb at 12:20. Overnight Express. Only collected my order on Wednesday 03 Feb at supplier. Its Friday 05 Feb and I am told my parcel will be delivered Monday or Tuesday almost a week later. They claim they are still in their scope of service as they have a 3-5 day turn around time for express delivery....what a joke. Taking my business elsewhere.

The worst courier company ever!Firstly the driver sends me a please call me when he couldnt find the address.Secondly, i eventually get hold of him and he says he will deliver my parcel/ documents at 4pm. No communication and no delivery.I call back at 4:45pm and enquire about the delivery and all of a sudden the driver is nowhere to be found and non of the drivers know what im talking about.They reassure me that the delivery will take place the following day (today) at 11am- still nothing and I am unable to contact anyone.Shocking that this company is still even in existence.

The worst service ever. If i could rate a 0 i would .i have been waiting for my delivery since yesterday 17/12/2020 (text recieved to state my order is out for delivery at 09:27am. At 21:07pm they got guts to state i was not available? How when ive been stuck at home waiting for my order. Ive been trying to contact there contact centre today 18/12/2020 since 8:20am and on 3 occasions, my calls are being disconnected after waiting 10 mins on hold.Please stay away from Skynet, unless you obviously prefer the hustle of following up on an order, waiting money and time.

Bad communication at the Cape Town Depo - delivery instructions clearly marked on the parcel for re-routed delivery and still the parcel is delivered to the incorrect address. Calls are dropped while holding on the line for feedback. Called numerous times and each time the same thing happened.

Dont Use Skynet. You cant get hold of anyone and they dont respond to any calls or mails. They lost my parcel and out miss directed my parcels to wrong address. I i am currently now on the phone and there is no answer and you stay on for hours. If you want bad service and lost parcels please use these clowns. One cant rely on them to run a business.

The service is inconsistent depending on the branch the parcel is sent to. I have used Skynet before as it is easy to send parcels via the Sasol Garage affiliation. However, it seems to me that the Cape Town branch is not up to the standard of the other branches. Parcels delivered to PE and Welkom was received quickly and efficiently, but the Cape Town parcel has not yet been delivered for more than 6 weeks. I would recommend Skynet to look into this branch specifically to improve their service.

One star rating is way above this companies ability. Worst courier company ever. Expect to be put on hold after waiting to be answered for twenty minutes after many attempts , have your call canceled, transferred from person to person only to not be answered with regards to when your late order will be delivered. I eventually told them that I will collect my order since the final feedback is that the order was not scheduled for delivery when it couldve been and that all the drivers have left and are out doing deliveries.

Shocking experience! They are supposed to deliver a parcel to me. After staying at home 2 days in a row to receive this I hear from no one, only for an agent to call me this morning and say the driver said I was not at home any of those days!! No one showed up at my apartment. Wasted 2 days of my life waiting for them!!! Shocking! Stay far far far away! Im still waiting for my parcel to be delivered. Will probably have to spend my Saturday at home now too waiting for them. I tried phoning the call centre again and NO one picks up your calls!

Honestly I wish I could rate this less than 1 star. Ive never been this annoyed and i generally provide a company the benefit of the doubt, although every delivery I have been receiving from this company has been absolute hell. The drivers will stop by your place,(not really sure if they even do), give it a quick look and leave. They wont call you to tell you they are there, the closest Ive gotten to a call was when I contacted skynet, ranted about the package and then I got a please call me from the driver in the late afternoon. The latest package that has to be delivered has been out for delivery since last week. Ive literally just been at home waiting for this package, yet the driver lists it as attempted delivery every day. I cant get through to skynet cape town as i just remain on hold. I spent nearly a hour today on hold with cape town, I called the central joburg customer care, they said theyd take care of it and get back to me. Nothing has happened. I will avoid using this company and every company that ships with them as much as humanly possible until the situation drastically changes.EDIT: WHY DO THEY HAVE PHONES IF THEY NEVER ANSWER IT, BEEN ON HOLD FOR HOURS

Horrible service/staff.On Friday, 30 November 2018, at about 16:40pm I called them regarding a collection error. The woman I was finally connected to asked me a few questions, then told me to hold on. I heard some music, and the connection was dropped.I handed the phone to my girlfriend and asked her to try. Exactly the same thing happened.It was almost as if they were just trying to delay until it was time for them to go home at 5PM.Of course, I could not reach them on Saturday, I assume they were closed.This is not the first bad experience Ive had with them. They fully deserve this one-star rating.

What an experience.. Ordered 2 weeks ago and was told the first delivery was not made as the driver could not find my office, regardless to the fact that my phone number is on the package to call and ask for direction. Never mind trying to get a hold of the company itself, all the lines are either a black hole or just ring and disconnect. I could not even track the Parcel number that was provided to me as it never existed on Skynets database. The second attempt, the package was finally delivered. However, it was delivered to a company that is not mine and is based above my office. I then received a call from my new delivery company(Deloits) to collect and sign for my packages. I am flabbergasted as to the delivery service for Skynet. Firstly, It was not delivered to me in hand to sign for and secondly I had to collect it from another company that it was not meant to be delivered too. Worst service I have ever seen. ALL BUSINESSES, DO NOT USE SKYNET WORLDWIDE EXPRESS CAPE TOWN for any means of delivery. They can NOT be trusted.

Poor delivery service. My parcel has been Out on delivery for more than 3 days. Feedback via email from Customer Service is virtually non-existent. Had to hang on for ages (calling from a cell phone) before getting through to customer service, only to be told the driver said my address is not a good address. No call received from the driver or the office, even though they have my cell number on record. Have had numerous parcels delivered by other courier companies, without any problems or delays.

My parcel was not delivered it was in Cape town for 3 days and took a maximum of 6 days to reach me in kraaifontein...when you call they take so long to answer their calls and they keep on promising to deliver and keep the parcel. They also suggest that you must go to their office to fetch the parcel. Their service in Cape Town is poor shame I never experienced this in other cities.

Sky NET was meant to collect a parcel yesterday and has claimed to be here 3 times already. I have not left home once and yet I am not home. I get phone calls telling me that the courier was here and yet I hear no knocks on the door and no phone call. Just one phone call wouldve sufficed but instead I am forced to go to the main offices to drop the parcel myself. I have never used their services before and I do not attend to use them again.

Please do yourself a favour and stay away from Skynet. Pathetic service..... what service? We will fetch between 10 and 4 It is now 4:30. Eventually managed to speak to someone at depot. Drivers phone is on voicemail!Must just add that we live in Bellville, thus very close to the Cape Town branch. Request for transport was placed on Thursday 1 February. It is now 5 days later.

Incompetent staff and poor service in general. I will never purchase online again should postage be charged through Skynet. I had the telephone put down on my ear on numerous occasions and you can expect to wait a minimum of 40 minutes to get through to a staff member. I would highly recommend that you choose any other company that isnt Skynet.

If I could give half a star I would. I have been waiting for a parcel that was out on delivery December 11th but it never arrived. I tried calling but no one answers. Email responses are sporadic and there has been no follow up. The service is awful. As I am writing this review I am on hold trying to get through to an agent. It has been 11 minutes and counting. Took over 2 weeks to have a package delivered to me. Their e-mail correspondence over this time was ok but I had to drag out information from them. Once it was out for delivery it never came and I had to wait another day. If you use Skynet, be patient. Be very patient. Very.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced from SkyNet in Cape Town. I was waiting for a package to be delivered and even strict instructions to SkyNet delivery service that they must call me on my cell once they are at the apartment complex because the Number buzzers are not working, they did not nor did they leave a notification that they tried to deliver the package. This is the norm throughout the world but evidently not in Cape Town. Now after 4 days of calling SkyNet to get the package redelivered and SkyNet Central in Johannesburg sending several messages to Cape Town branch to call me, still no package has been delivered nor have I received any communication from their offices in Cape Town.

I tried calling the support center and Im on hold for 15mins at a time before hanging up. I am not sure whats happening but I needed my items today. I have never worked with such a bad courier service company at most horrible service.I have called in more then twice and every time you hold on for like 15 minutes before someone answer then phone. Just to be transferred to another department.I have even asked for the Manager of customer service Tracey. But no luck at even reaching her. My parcel was sent out of JHB on the 24-08-18 to CPT. As I`m typing this on 31-08-18, I have not received it yet.Meanwhile my machine is out of order for this full time and that is why I asked and paid the supplier to courier the parts to me.The best advice I can give you is to stay away from Skynet as far as possible rather use alternative method. Even normal postage is faster than Skynet.

Call centre (CPT) never answers the phones. Phoned their JHB office eventually and got answers from them but no results. Send our driver to deliver the package to them. They said they accept cash, when we got there they said only eft. Done the eft, went there again then they said they only accept things boxed or bubble wrapped. Been waiting 3 days for collection. Missed them yesterday after a phone call from them. Today 2 skynet bakkies collecting parcels from my neighbours, but they dont want to take ours unless the office has specifically sent them to collect it. However, they were here 1 day before and we missed them, so they are well aware, so the efficiency of sending out 3 bakkies at this point in time to same area for 3 different parcels sounds to me like bad logistics planning. Then try to call them, you first have to wait for a voice to speak 20 seconds before being able to direct your call and then get cut-off and go through same process again. One agent says a ref code is not required for collection and the other says they need it. Then get transferred to 4 different people and be given different number in end to call in Jhb after calling Cpt branch. Very frustrated!

Parcel collected 9 days ago, still waiting for delivery (Jhb - Cpt|). Took them 7 days to let me know they tried to deliver it, but no one was home. Since that call it has been 3 days and countless call to the most useless call center on earth. And that takes some doing.I would suggest you avoid using them like the plague and rather opt for a pro, customer service focused courier company like The Courier Guy, just doing it yourself, a pigeon or even Aramex.

My international parcel has been out for delivery since the 5th of February. No one phoned me to let me know the address was wrong or that they needed more information. So luckily I phoned yesterday (7th Feb) to find out what is going on with my order, I give them the address, all is sorted. The customer care lets me know my order will be delivered today (8th Feb) and at 17:00, I am still waiting for my order. At 17:30, I phone customer care, just for her to tell me my parcel was put on the wrong courier van this morning and will only be delivered tomorrow (lets hope). Pathetic. How can you put a parcel on the wrong courier van? What happened to being organised?

I had to go to their warehouse to fetch my parcel after 5 days from this place in Epping 2, funny i stay in Langa, ONLY 3km away from them. They came up withstories as to why they couldnt deliver. Last straw was finding my box wet and they had no eplanation. Poor service. The reviews says it all.
