The friendly Sales man behind the counter was very helpful and when they didnt stock what I was looking for, it didnt end there, he made an effort to find out for me where they did stock the item and I walked out of there a happy customer.

Fiancé and I bought a fridge and washing machine from this store. We arranged for the day of delivery to be the day we were moving in to a new apartment. This was a Saturday and we were notified in the afternoon that our delivery would be postponed to Monday as the courier company was on strike. On Monday we were not notified of amended delivery times and every time we called Hi Fi Corp for information we were given no information and they refused to give us the contact details of the couriers. Our sales agent not once phoned us back with updates when he said he would. The work day ended without us receiving our appliances and without us having any means to check on delivery status. Then - without any warning - the couriers arrived with our appliances at NINE PM.It was a beyond inconvenient and distressing experience, customer service was terrible and we never received any apology (I believe a refund for delivery costs would be ideal). Additionally if our previous landlord was not kind enough to offer us usage of their fridge all of our food would have spoiled. We were initially hesitant to arrange delivery for the move day, however our sales agent convinced us our appliances would arrive between 2-5pm that Saturday. Terrible service.

Bad customer service. The manager is so rude she even shooshed me while I was speaking. Comes up with their own rules and terms and conditions that are not even on the slip or their terms and conditions board. The store should really consider looking for another manager she was just plain rude. Im never shopping at this hifi corp again. And its the third time of me returning their goods.

I have been here two or three times and every single time I was ignored and not assisted, yet certain people would arrive after me and be helped immediately. There is definitely bias regarding who they assist, which reveals how ignorant their disinterested and miserable staff are.

Place an order three weeks agoFollowed up after two weeks but was told that i had to wait the full 14 business days14 business days later i follow up and get told there is no stock.Money went out my account and into theirs as it was an online order.3 weeks later, order status has not changed and they still sitting with my money to only find out on the 14th business day that they are now out of stock and have offered me a model that is not remotely similar to my order.I would not recommend Hifi CorporationTheir customer service is patheticTheir professionalism is non existent.I have made multiple requests for the manager to call meI have emails multiple times asking for the manager to contact meI have even submitted complaints online and asked for the manager to call meBut instead, they hide behind their emails and get their staff to call instead of manning up and trying to deal with the situation .If all else fails i will need to go to the bank and open a fraud case against them.

Worst customer service ever. I went there with the intention of purchasing a Nokia C1 and I was served by the lady Nawaal. She is very incompetent. She left me to wait for an hour without telling me the reason why the phone was not being processed. I ended up leaving the store without purchasing the phone. Its disappointing how incompetency prevails in this branch and hope this is rectified in the long run otherwise revenues will shrink.

The service in this store was so bad i cant believe it. First i had to wait long to be helped then the lady helps me an takes another half an hour to get me my purchase i paid for the item but waited to get it what nonsense is that. Then she doesnt even have the decency to let me know up until i asked how long do i still have to wait she then comes with her lame excuses. Its as if they dont have a care in the world also no customer service. Damn pathetic. Oh an when i asked for her branch manager email address she gives me the wrong email. Disgusting

My experience of customer service at this store probably ranks as one of the worst. Very recently my wife purchased a TV from the store, but when unpacked at home some screws for attaching the legs were missing.She phoned the store and got the salesperson to agree to put the screws aside for when we would pick it up later in the week.However, I found myself in the mall the next day and decided to pop in at the store and pick up the said screws.This turned out to be a horrible mistake on my part.The salesperson who sold us the TV was off from work and another salesman I asked for assistance turned out not to really care enough about this tiny problem: he couldnt find the screws and claimed he couldnt get hold of the salesperson who had assisted us in the first place. He bluntly told me I would have come back for the screws.I told told him that is unacceptable and that I was not returning for the screws because the problem could be solved while I was there.I then asked to speak to the store manager. The response was that the store manager didnt know anything about this issue and wasnt at the store on the day the TV was bought. I insisted on speaking to the manager. I was then told that the manager was not at the store. I then asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that there was only a sales manager on duty. This person was just as unhelpful.I then asked ask for the phone number of their head office to complain about this situation. The sales person told me to get it from the website. I then demanded that I be given the number of their head office and told the staff who were now gathered that I would return the TV given this disgusting service and treatment of a customer. The response was: bring the TV back. One of them eventually gave me the head office number.When I got home, my wife phone the store. The phone was eventually answered. When my wife asked to speak to the store manager, she was asked why she needed to speak to the store manager. She then insisted on being put through to the store manager. The person who then answered the phone, when asked if he was the store manager, hesitated to say he was the store manager.My wife related to the store manager the experience I had at the store earlier and told him that we intended to return the TV and complain to their head office about the appalling service at the KC store.The next day my called the store to speak to the salesperson who had sold her the TV. During that conversation, the salesperson told her that the person she had spoken to on the phone, the previous day, was in fact not the store manager.Where does it end. I will never buy from that store ever again. I really thought retail stores were struggling to make money given the effects of the Lockdown, but it turns out that they arent because they dont care about how they deal with customers:Sales staff and admin staff: No greeting. No real interest in wanting to be helpful. Arrogant and disreptful engagement. No management on the floor. Disinterest in the consequences. Disengaged/lying store manager who was not interested in delivering or resolving customer complaints.

I am extremely browned off right now! Just tonight AGAIN, I had to relive the unpleasant experience of a TV shutting in my darn face, this is a complete joke!Bought a 32inch Sinotec TV back in 2017 - in such Good Faith, via Hi Fi Corpse within exactly a years time, I had to bring the TV back to get it repaired, which was fine.A year after it got repaired, I found myself back at the store not purchasing a new TV, but bringing it back for repairs AGAIN - after waiting a full month, TV got tested in Hi Fi - at the time it had not switched on and had to be tested on a different plug, of which it then went on.I brought the TV back home last week Friday - the exact next day the TV had no power supply.I left it and switched it on a few days again and then Miraculously it went on. Tonight it switched off - after being repaired on more than 2 occassions.I think it is obvious to say that this TV has exhausted its repair period and needs to be exchanged for a brand new one.The amount of money I used with transportation on this TV to and from the store is ridiculous - matters will have to be taken into my own hands - I am LIVID!!!!

Can the staff please get some training on telephone etiquette? One gets transferred or cut off like its part of their job description... The store is so small but the lady answering each call finds it such a challenging task to just quickly walk to the floor to check for stock availability.

Pathetic customer service from the manager himself that hides in his office instead of making sure his customer is happy. When asked numerous times to see the manager he refused and sent one of his colleagues to answer on behalf of him. Our television went in for repairs and we waited more than a month before we went back to what’s happening. The television had a note saying it was repaired and when it was tested it was worst. And all the manager did was hide in his office.

Bought a 55 TV in December returned it in January only used it twice and the sound was not rite then they send it to have it checked out by a technician only to get the unit in a worst condition remote not working and they dont want to refund me or replace my unit... The staff needs serious training.

Hi fi Corpution has always been south africas biggest grey importer. The staff are below average intelligence and seems as though they have learnt their technical knowledge from a doorknob. This doorknob i can tell you is their lousy sales manager who never seems to phone people back nor has any clue what is going on around him or that he even breaths. Steer clear of this joketown.

Excellent Service from Anthony the branch manager,I arrived instore received immediate assistance.I experienced online challenges.I purchased my washing machine and was out of the store in 10mins tops!! BRILLIANT SERVICE,understanding the Christmas rush.And to the assistant that helped my Hubbie to load the washing machine,Thankyou!!!Absolute Brand Ambassadors- To the Senior Management cherish this team,this type of service is rare.Blessed Christmas to all.
