Really nice small café with amazing staff and food. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet place to sit and eat.

Motlen serves one of the best lattes Ive had in Cape Town. Cool location where you can sit outside and do some people watching. Staff is upbeat, friendly and fast. 5 well deserved stars.

Good coffee and good brunch menu!I liked the interior and nice and kind staffs.Me and my friend ordered ‘2 scrambled eggs with avocado and toast’ and ‘cheese and tomato signature toasted sandwich’.We liked the foods very much and hot latte and cappuccino were awesome.The only thing we didn’t like is the staff who wants to clean everything away even the dishes we didn’t finished yet.The cup we had water was gone when I looked for. And even the staff grabbed my coffee cup and shook it if there is still coffee in it.That was not pleasant but except that, the coffee, foods, interior, the price, everything was great.

Good coffee, but R28 for such a small cup flat white just seems a bit overpriced...

Great coffee, excellent service only thing I didnt quite like was the char grilled bacon. I wish waiter asked how I wanted them done. Other than that definitely going back for coffee again or to try the fresh squeezed juice 🙋‍♀️

I have never been to a Café which remembers what I order on what was only my second visit and for that I was thoroughly impressed to my milk preference which was spot on! Great Food, Excellent Coffee, also the staff actually want to get to know their customers which speaks to the true nature of your business and for that youve just won a new regular!

Staff is very nice and very good coffee. There are some seats outside too. They had a wrap which was gluten free AND vegan and it was fantastic.

This little coffee shop/restaurant is just fantastic.Great coffee, fresh pastries and the most delicious toasted sandwiches in Cape Town.I look forward to visiting whenever I am even relatively in the area.

Better than any German coffee I could get at home! You can really toast what passion for a good coffee can taste like!

In all the days we stayed in Cape Town, we ended up coming here for breakfast. Coffee is nice. Employees are gentle and the toast is especially great. It is on the street, easy access, not too big but there is always space to sit.

Molten Toffee has become part of my daily ritual. The staff are amazing, and the energy is so conducive to meeting new people. I go everyday - the best coffee in CT, and the best place in CT to work & have business meetings. Robbie, the owner and founder has created something really special. Good strong coffee, delicious fresh squeezed fruit and veg juices. My boyfriend and my omelettes were fantastic and not too heavy or overly rich. Didnt have any but the baked goods looked divine. Music was also at a good enough key and level for us to have a business meeting, although the tables were a little small.

Really nice minimal decor and friendly staff. forgot to pay for my tea and felt really bad cause it was good tea, I was in a rush. Ill definitely pay if Im in the area again.

Great atmosphere, amazing coffee, good location and friendly staff.Prices are decent too and they have free WiFi.Go for their signature smoothie, you wont regret it. Also, if you like coffee Id recommend the cortado, which is the equivalent to a flat white.

After 1 year in Cape Town Ive finally found my favourite café, no matter the purpose. I come here to work. I come here to catch up with a friend. The peeps working here are great, the coffee is great and so is their hot chocolate (!).Other things: Good tunes, good air, good light and good wifi. Nice interior also - very photo friendly!

Doesnt want to serve any coffee any more at 5min to 4pm. Start to remove shade of canoppee at 4pm and leave us sitting in the sun. Want to remove seats from under us, although they are suppose to close at 5pm???
