Very pleasant place for coffee and light meal. The sandwich in the picture is veg sandwich and very tasty although I am not vegetarian.Service is warm and friendly. Entire Wharf area has lots of restaurants and shops and also street performances to enjoy.

There is something a little unsophisticated about this restaurant.. but its a very nice place to have a casual meal during the day or in the evening, the staff are nice and attentive, the food is good and match the very reasonable prices, definitely a good choice if your at the V&A waterfront and dont want to splash out on the many overpriced restaurants in this area.Please like my review if it was helpful :) enjoy.

Had a lovely lunch at Cafe Alfredo. The premises have a great view of the entertainment close by and the food is great with a large selection of dishes on the menu. Staff were polite and attentive without being intrusive. Great place in a great area.

Walked past this Cafe for many years. Glad we made a stop today. Sit and watch the world walk past while buskers perform in front of you. The breakfast was good and the service was very friendly.

If you are looking for a nice cafe to relax and rest your feet, give Cafe Alfredo a try. We only grabbed a coffee, so I cant comment on their food, but what I can say is the coffee was delicious (one of the best Ive had in a while). Our waiter was friendly and the food looked tasty.

Im sorry but I have to say its one of the worst meals I have had the in Cape Town.The milk shake tasted like crushed ice with flavour.The bolognaise pasta tasted like canned food. I added salt and pepper to try to make it a bit better but unfortunately it got worse (ok, my bad).Im adding one more star because of the location. On a nice hotel balcony in the middle of the V&A Waterfront. And the server was very friendly.

I will be honest, I am always super skeptical when it comes to restaurants at V&A as most of them are pretentious and overpriced. However, Cafe Alfredo changed my mind. The food was amazing quality and the prices were great too. They didnt overcharge, but still managed to deliver incredible food. The staff were also really friendly. I cannot wait to go back! :)

Outside table service with a kind, attentive staff. The food and drinks were brought to the table in a timely manner. Instead of disposal straws, the restaurant uses uncooked pasta, a really environmentally responsible choice by the owners that I find commendable. Sitting outside was great for people watching and street performances.

Amazing place to eat a big variety of delicious pizza and drink a good beer.I can only recommend to go there as there is live music playing outside. Definitely a must for anyone!

Decent enough for a quick bite to eat at the V&A Waterfront. Its on the wrong side of the Alfred Mall, so you dont really have a view except of the marimba band - who change every day and are actually quite good. The food seemed a bit overpriced, but thats expected at the Waterfront. The service was good and the food tasty. Wouldnt make a special effort to come here again, but it wasnt a complete waste of time.

Great food and excellent service. You think if you go to more expensive restaurants at the waterfront you will get better service and food, definitely not true!! Highly recommend Cafe Alfredo as one of our best dining experiences at the V & A.

Awesome place with a relaxing atmosphere! Service was excellent. We did not wait long for our order, the staff was friendly professional and all of the ladiess hair and makeup was neat. Food was delicious, with affordable prices and we will definitely come again Thank you.

Maybe the Greeks and Zimbabweans did collaborate to build the Great Zimbabwe. They are certainly doing a good job at Cafe Alfredo. You will be welcomed into coffee Kudenga/Paradeisos by Jules and Bernie.

The food took a bit long but it was good. Their sandwiches are perhaps the best. Other food is a little bit too pricey, although it is one of the cheaper restaurants at The Waterfront. An enjoyable, relaxing atmosphere.

Was welcomed by friendly waitors. Ordered some very good coffee and cake. Worth the visit.

Womens Day which is 09/08/2019 tomorrow will be our 5th visit to Café Alfredo. Always take friends and family along for breakfast. Food is delicious and big portions and the waiters is very friendly. Service is excellent.

Place and order through I’ve eats. Half my order was not give to the delivery driver. When I called the restaurant the excuse that they gave me was ‘sorry I don’t have delivery drivers, so we can’t help you.’The attitude in correcting the mistake made by the restaurant was shocking, as it if it’s not their responsibility.Disgusting serviceWon’t order from the place again.Also, the food is pretty bad.Very disappointed, wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone

Food is good. There are very few places that i would pay more than R50 for a slice of cake and Cafe Alfredo is one of them. Best red velvet and chocolate 🎂 around.

Wish I could recommend - its in a great shady location, and is one of the more chill and seemingly inexpensive places near the waterfront. Unfortunately the drinks are expensive and truly awful, and the portion sizes for some dishes on the small size. I was really unhappy with the mixed drink I ordered (watermelon purée and basil, fin, and tonic water). Clearly watermelon syrup vs fresh, and couldnt even taste the gin or basil. When I asked to exchange, both the waiter and the manager refused. Look elsewhere - I suggest the nearby marketplace and eating on the tables outside - youll be richer and happier afterwards.

Nice place, nice food, nice and happy people. The boy attend to us told us he was a Mandela son...hahaha!! A very recommedable place!!

Food here was on the good side - portions were sufficient but I was put off by the price. It felt like it was priced for tourists but maybe Im being too fussy. We sat outside so our kids could run around and we were served promptly and with a smile. I would consider coming back here but its not on the top of my list.
