So far so good with Soneike KFC. I definitely have to rank it higher than KFC Bellville and KFC Kuilsriver. The food is always on point. Up until now, I have not received an undercooked or an overcooked piece of chicken. The chips always looks like it is fried in new oil. I have never received a brown-brown chip or one with black burnt ends. Even the most standard burgers come out different. I only had an issue with the under-gravy or little gravy mash. It is a bit drier than the ones from other KFCs. But, this could be my preference. The wraps are standard but in the past or at other KFCs you can get one piece of chicken in an entire wrap. This one is nicely packed with chicken. My daughter claims that they make the best chicken nuggets. Again, for me it is standard. Maybe they pay more attention to detail. But, they deserve my rating.So we went back to KFC Soneike and got the same result as last time. We tried the zinger nuggets and they are very tasty. The fam scored it high all around and the colonel sauce was a counter balance for the mild spicy heat.

Never waste your money here. Go to any kfc but this one. We ordered two fully loaded box meals, one with coke zero and one with creme soda. The receipt then showed us 2x coke zero, 2x creme soda. Which amounts to R161. We get to collection, we receive 2x creme soda. So we ask where is the 2x coke zero as the receipt states. Employee says no no no only one drink. Then she asks for one cup back so she can give us a coke zero. We get the cup back and its only 60% full. We get home and the food is not even in the box meal boxes. And no spoons. And they stole R1 from me. Its R1 per sugary drink and we ended up with only one sugary drink, while the receipt said two sugary drinks. I understand that its only R1 but this is daylight robbery. And I swear if I get food poisoning..And dont even get me started with the bad quality and taste of the food!

Absolutely pathetic. Something as easy as a spoon for the mash and gravy even when asking at the drivethru not to forget you never add the spoon. Then when you get your food your burger is hot and your chips taste 5days olf because its so cold. Not happy at all.

Will never buy food from this place ever again... I bought a meal at 9:45 by the drive through. Was asked by the lady at the collection desk to wait in the parking for 2 min they will bring my food 45 min later and no food I went inside to enquire with my slip and they never made my food while others was helped. Worst service ever... never again the supervisor offered me a free meal if I came back the next day.

I will definetely recommend KFC Soneike anytime. 2nd week in a row we went there that everything was just perfect, from the fries to the rounders to the chicken and ymthe friendly staff. We always complain about the bad experiences and its about time we compliment as well for great service. Well Done KFC Soneike. You are my nr 1 KFC, I drive from another town to support you. We went into KFC Soneike on Friday evening, what a pleasant experience, the service was fast, friendly and efficient, we barely finished playing and our order was ready and we were met with more friendly staff and smiles. The chicken was fresh and juicy, not oily at all and tasted great. Thank you KFC Soneike!

Very bad experience. We ordered at 20:55, the lady on the intercom was rude. We drove forward and they told us there will be a wait for our order, I told them its okay.When we got our food we were told we have to wait 2 minutes for our food but we must wait in the parking lot, so we did.At 21:23 we have not received any food yet and no one in sight. There were only 3 or 4 cars behind us.I started heading inside to see where our order was. As soon as I got close to the door I heard loud laughter and the workers speaking loudly to each other.They were all huddled around the counter and enjoying their conversation.As soon as I approached the counter they suddenly got quiet and I received my order in my hand by someone who got a fright as I came in.I was told Thank you for coming to KFC.We got in the car and the krushers were melted and the mash and gravy was already ice cold. The burger and pops was warm at least.What a bad experience.

Pathetic. Theyll take your order, while knowing that their card machine is offline. The nevermind attitude of the staff really grates on your nerves at this point.To be they did post a sign that the drive-thru machine was out of order, hardly readable at any distance.

Where they where bombarded with orders they made a plan to get the orders to us ASAP. The orders we had to wait for was handed to us personally COVID-19 compliant in the parking.Well done.

So I tried to place an order with Mr D just after 6pm, they took my money but kfc did not accept my order for some unknown reason. I requested my refund and luckily I succeeded although it will take 5 business days to reflect. Anyway, I decided to go to KFC Soneike, got there at 18:55 only to realize that they had closed the drive thru with crates, I decided to go inside even though I was trying to avoid that. Got to the door, there were at least 20 people inside and 5 outside. The security kept making comments like only 6 people at a time yet the place was packed with people!! The women in front of me asked where is the sign that says only 6 people and he showed it was on the door... But the sign was facing INSIDE the shop!! When she told him it needs to face outside, he said, he will change it tomorrow! Now is that disrespectful or what! I asked the security why couldnt they close the doors at 19:00 and leave the drive thru open till 19:30 as it is a much safer option due to the current circumstances. He looked at me like I was crazy. Then 2 girls came up and explained that the people inside mixed up their order and they need to go in and rectify it, not only did the security tell them to stand in the line outside, but when they were actually assisted, the lady inside refused to give them a receipt so they couldnt even prove it!! I asked to see the manager and the security told me there is no manager today but I could clearly see the manager inside. Then on top of all that, the security screamed only chicken left and thats when I left...WORST. SERVICE. EVER!!

Just wanted ice cream for 5! It took forever! no check up with us, no explanation. The wait was ridiculous! In the end the the lady did apologise and said there was something wrong with the machine, but by then the mood was set.

This is the best KFC Ive been to in the northern suburbs of Cape Town so far, great service and good quality food the chicken wasnt too oily, the raps well filled and most importantly the ice cream machine was running! (Throwing shade at 90% of McDonalds👀😂)

Chips tasted like it was refried not fresh, i literally drained the excess oil with roller towel. the food generally tasted as if it was fried in old oil. no coleslaw in stock. servixe was poor, with them telling me i had to pay extra for something and then realizing it was the weong customer oh and this went down without an apology. dont believe me see the pic. so we wont be going there again. Riverside KFC hasnt disappointed us yet.

If I could burn the place down I would :). Was there close to closing time this evening, very few people and they mentioned theyre out of stock on many of their burgers. Came home, saw the meal came with no fries, and one of the meals was missing a chicken piece. Wont go back to this branch ever :).

Supper bad. We order 4 zinger wings and when we got home to eersteriver we saw there was only 2 zinger wings in the bag.

The drive thru is the slowest ever and one spends so much time idling your vehicle...fuel and diesel is expensive ..when I addressed this with the attendant...the person simply walked away without an apology ..customer service needs serious attention.

Nice place. This is where it ends. Extremely bad service. This is the worst outlet of KFC that I visited in years. I was in the drive true for 15 minutes waiting to be served. They only took cash no cards. I was forced to wait until the line was empty. Inside it was not better. No card services was available. A big company must really look to increase better services

Bought food there on Sunday for me and my boyfriend. Later on that day we ended up at the hospital with my boyfriend throwing up badly. Doctors said food poisoning. We were fans of Kfc but after this incident am disappointed. They have lost us as customers

You wait long, they get your orders wrong and not well cooked chicken. One thing I noticed if you buying anything else other than chicken it seems to be well cooked. Moral of the story dont buy chicken here. Buy burgers, zinger wings, wraps and so on.

I ordered a meal at their drive through and while waiting I saw an employee without gloves on... after touching her hair and her nose proceed to shove chips in to a bucket for one to make the lid fit and thereafter handing it to a waiting customer at the counter... I waited 12minutes for a brekkie crunch wrap in the drive through only to throw it away as there is no way that I was eating anything that came out of that place. I am pretty sure it is health regulations to wear gloves when you are working with food... disgusting I am still in absolute shock!!

Ordered streetwise three hot & crispy. Got streetwise two and not hot & crispy. I went back and the manager gave me a streetwise three, fresh wit new chips. Thank you mam for assisting your crew.

Speaker system wasnt working properly, the person taking the order didnt know what they were doing and they got our order completely wrong and tried to argue that we didnt order things that were clear on our slip. Wont go there again!

After a long day of work and grocery shopping its the best place to stop and get a quick bite. I love my food so I appreciate when its fresh fast hot and tasty

Slow, slow, very slow service. Shop is to small for the constant flow of customers. Good location but the size of the shop is to small and the amount of parking to little. Therefore customers become irritable and staff frustrated by complaining customers and orders become confused. Have to go back on 3 occasions to correct my besides the times in shop when I had to correct.

Overall, good and friendly service. Waiting periods on average is in line with other fast food outlets. Area generally kept clean with ample parking. Quality of products also what can be expected from other franchises.

Waited to place an order while a staff member ignored my plea. Granted she was not in charge of taking orders, but she should have and could have informed me as a customer that the cashier is on her way.Disappointed

Such a great spot and lovely decor, but since day one the service has been lacking. Orders wrong, long wait, unfriendly, uninspired... The vehicle/parking entrance is sometimes a bit difficult to get into with all the mall traffic.

Ne and my fiance was there last night ordered to burger meals firstly never gave chips with the meal secondly when i went to ask about it gave me 2 half filled fries. Then when we got hone expecting an zinger burger we actually received some burger with a hash brown on it 🤢. Food was disappointed gave both of us stomachs issues. For the anount of money we pay i don’t expect quality food i just expect correction of order and fresh food so disappointing wont be visiting this branch ever again.
