I was at Tygervally today with my mom and was helped immediately by a lovely lady (Elaine) before even entering the Door. She had great knowledge of the phones and helped us decide on one that would work with our budget. The process was simple, fast and the staff were very friendly. After choosing a phone we were given a lovely gift from the store (speaker/thermis). 10/10 experience that made my day. Thank you guys!

Shocking service, I was promised my new phone on saturday morning. I then went into the store after they failed to call me only to find out that the phone was issued to someone else and the consultant who dealt with my application was always going to be off this weekend. No one in the store did anything to assist. It is now Monday afternoon and I still dont have a phone. I have called all morning and no one answers. Vodacom please do something about your franchisee. They are not client centric!!!

I can highly recommend the efficient service of Ms Natasha at the Tygervalley store . She handled my enquiry for an upgrade in a professional , friendly manner . She answered all my questions with patience . Within 45 min my new phone was ready to collect with all info transferred from my old phone . What a pleasure .

Terrible to say the least. If only I could give negative ratings. Went in there looking for a new samsung and constantly told that a different phone is better. Like just tell us youre getting more commission for the other. We were told that an older model is exactly the same as what we were looking for in the first place. Went back for a second time trying to get the original phone and they insisted on us signing paperwork for the one they were pushing. We then said that we arent comfortable with this new brand that has been released and that I have never had a Chinese brand phone and then this guy working there smugly says that Samsung is Chinese. Well done on being absolutely uncultured and rude. Because any self respecting person knows the difference between China and Japan. Rude service overall and too many questions either agitates or confuses them. When addressing customers its not etiquette to shout from a distance or to stop a sale from happening. Apparently the Samsung we wanted was on back order and wouldnt be back in stock for weeks. 0 out of 10 would recommend.(went to Samsung anyway and got the phone in 2 minutes.)Maybe if they researched their own phones and didnt count the entire east side of the world as china theyd sell some more.

The most terrible service received forst thing this morning from a Natasha in store. She speaks over you, has a disgusting attitude and hangs the phone up on you. The staff there feel entitled to treating you like they are working from their back yard. Then other store assistants like Kurt blasphemes from another table in response to my husband telling Natasha that she shouldnt speak while we are speaking. The most shocking service

Take my phone in for repairs which was 3 weeks out of warranty and the device its self has not even been out 3 years and I get told they can repair the device, they have spares and it should cost 1000. I take the phone in and it gets sent off and about a week later I get a message I must accept or decline the quote but no quote has been sent to me. I go to the store where I took it in and they dont know anything but eventually find out it is 2000. BUT they tell me they dont have any spares it is an obsolete device and I must accept another phone at the repair cost. When I phone the repair place they tell me it is not 2000 it is now 4000 but they will phone me back immediately with a conformation of the cost. 3 working days later I am still waiting for the call I have tried calling but nobody is at their desk and they keep saying give us your details and we will call you back. VODACOM IS USELESS! I am glad google has allowed for WiFi calling through android devices because this IS going to kill companies like vodacom which have atrocious service and non-delivery. This is not the first issue I have had with them!

I would just like to give a Positive Review on one of your Sales Consultants, her name was Bernadette ( Spelling might be a bit off :) )As soon as I got there she was eager to assist with a big smile on her face asking how i was etc. She helped me quick and efficiently and did more than i just asked. She helped me save on some unnecessary costs that i have been paying.These days Service is always an issue but this made a bit of difference.I give her a full 5 stars and she needs to be congratulated please.Thanks and will see you guys soon..

Initially good service and advice, but no follow through, still waiting for the salesman to phone us to come and collect our new phones. It has been a week and a half already. They just NEVER answer their phone, I have spent hours trying to phone them. It is pathetic!!!!

Visited Vodacom Tygervalley and was met by complete disregard & lack of attentiveness. Understandable that during COVID period limited amount of clients are allowed in, but to completely ignore and not communicate with your customers waiting patiently outside shows your lack of respect for not only your clients but also for your pride in your work

Crooks. Took phone in for repairs to USB-C port, they refused to repair the issue without also replacing the screen because it had a minute crack that could only be seen in good light from a specific angle. Tiny cracks dont bother me, phones that dont charge do. Get your act together and stop trying to pump up the bill.

Make sure you go to the Vodacom Store across Cum Books:We travelled from Melkbos to purchase an iPhone XS 256 after we were told the store had one in stock,.To the assistants dismay, the box was incorrectly marked and it was not an XS. In stepped Bernadette and within minutes, she located a phone in the mall, Adrian went to collect it and she then used this as an opportunity to teach Adrian, very patiently, on how upgrades are done; transfers made, while keeping my husband and I entertained too!!I am a teacher, and I can recognize a good teacher when I see one. Adrian was a willing and keen student and the two of them made a great team.

This store should have any clients walking into this store, the staff are useless, unfriendly and have no client service, this is shocking how they treat clients that pay for service. To top it all, Sumsung repairs (warranty) need to be done by We fix and none of these technicians Vodacom are qualified to work on samsung phones. This is as per Sumsung SA

Vodacom Tygervalley store opposite ToysRus- 10 sales reps on duty of which 4 have no customers. Only one person working at TechZone to assist customers with repairs and exchanges. Shows how serious Vodacom is about client services - all their resources going into getting customers signed up while there is little regard for after sales service. Poor poor poor

1.6 star. I wondered why until I went myself. Very unhelpful dont give a f about customer service, dont try and resolve your problem, dont give advice, poor management. Best you avoid this franchise at all costs. They obviously also dont care about their ratings on Google either. I hope you as a customer make a better choice and support another branch.

Wanted to upgrade with my R400 contract a month and the cheapest deal I could get is for R1200 a month!? I asked for the cheapest iPhone available and was told only the iPhone 10s are available because the iPhone 7s and 8s got discontinued... Which is a lie.A friend went a few months ago and the same happened. They also add extra amounts of money monthly to contracts without informing you.Not sure if all Vodacom shops are like this...

I needed to take my phone in for repairs, I have a Xiaomi Redmi note 4, bought it last year June 2018, and already faulty, but nevermind that, I received the WORST experience at this store ever, whatever you do, I pray you do not have to go to this Vodacom. Not sure about the sales department though, but my review is about the Tech Zone at the back. I took my phone in on the 12 of July, and only got it back on the 03rd of Aug. Now I dont have a problem with the time it took, but the way the whole situation was handled. In this time, i had to phone THEM a few times to find out the status of phone (bear in mind that Vodacom repair centre, not the Tech Zone I am ranting about sent me a SMS, and I have proof, that it was completed on the 22nd July) so I go to the store and it is not there, and no one even bothered to phone me back in the 3 weeks that my phone was in for repairs, and OMG when you walk into the shop, the Sales staff are friendly, as they obviously want to sell you a phone, but the tech zone staff are so blasé, and they look like they do not want to help at all, and get this, they are the Tech Zone I put it in quotation marks as they do not even know what a Xiaomi phone is, nevermind it being one of the most popular choices or cheapest out there. So to sum it up, dont go here for phone repairs, rather go to Canal Walk or somewhere else.

Not even a corner of a star for these people. Put debit order through wrong for Huawei P8. First double debt order came through only after 3 months of having the phone, and they still had the cheek to tell me my phones Sim had been suspended due to non-payment. They never even debited me correctly, and then turned around and told me it was my fault for lack of funds! Very unprofessional. Wasted my time and the banks just to find out they cant tell the difference between the following month and 3 months later. How hard is it to organize a simple debit order?

Terrible. Initial friendliness of sales person disappeared as soon as the contract was signed. Phone returned for repairs days after purchase - when it came back, the sd card was missing. Now only promises that they will phone when they find the sd card. Never phone back. Some customer service.

Waiting for weeks two complete porting a number. Had to phone in 100s of times to get an update as the shop never called back as they said they would.Scheduled a time to collect the phone when it was finally ready - sales agent is not here to assist. . . .This is last time I will ever visit this poorly managed store. -10 for customer support.

There is a ticket system normally i thought that is 1st come 1st serve but not in this case waited for more than half an hour people just in the door and they get helped. Consultants dont worry about the people sitting with ticket numbers they think you uave to sit there and wait all day.

Pathetic is the only word I can use.Untrained staff,extremely unprofessional.I went in over a week ago to buy a contract tablet.Firstly to be told that there is no stock of the device,secondly that I can sign the contract-vetting as the assistant told me,and that he will phone me back one a tablet has been secured from another store.I went back yesterday,left without a tablet,and without any return phone call having been made to me over the past 8 days.I specifically asked whether it was necessary to cancel the vetting,and was told NO by 2 sales assistants.Needless to say,when I tried to do this contract via Vodacom Direct,I was told that the contract is valid,that I had to go back to the store to cancel it,before I can resubmit with Vodacom Direct.A phone call to the store,resulted in a sorry.Pity,sorry doesnt fix it!

Service was terrible and while waiting in the shop for more than 2 hours I had to endure the most annoying telecom announcements being blasted out of speakers. It’s as if they wanted to let the whole mall know who was next in line. Not to mention the one girl working looked like she had an Uber drop her off at work after a night in long street.

Not even one star. I wanted to purchase new contract. I changed my Cell C number to pre paid. The special I wanted ended on Sunday 6 November. I phoned the shop. Explained what I needed and confirmed that they have stock and what they needed from me. Told the lady I will be driving through from Hernanus on Sunday to fetch the phone. She confirmed it is fine. When I came there they told me I can get the phone in 24 hours. Also that after this 24 hours I cannot get the special. I told the lady that I phoned and confirmed. She said she can do nothing. I asked perhaps I can do all paper work and sign. Then she can courier phone (I will pay for it) She just said no and I had to leave back to Hermanus. Still no phone. Also not even a word from manager to explain what happened.

EXCEPTIONALLY POOR. Worst vodacom outlet Ive ever visited. Shocking service, unskilled and technically clueless staff. Never walked out happy. Specials booklets stay out well into the next month when those deals are no longer available, slow unmotivated staff and poor customer care. Managers dont seem to care about customers. DO NOT VISIT THE TYGERVALLEY VODACOM SHOP. Go anywhere else just not to Tygervalley.

Rudest, most disgusting management ever. My boyfriends interview was approved by head office, so he went for another inteview at this branch and was totally publicly shamed by the manager solely based on his appearance and refused a second interview within the first 2 minutes of entering the shop. Complete deformation of character and utter rude behavior. This was all in front of customers.

Pity theres no zero rate. Absolutely horrible service.Staff dont call back. Staff dont know procedures.I have an impecable credit record was told i was adversely listed and should contact the credit division.Gt two perfect credit reports called the store and was just told sorry. Nothing we can do.I called Vodaphone direct and was advised that none of tge procedures were followed. I had to go back to the store to stop the application. This was a month ago. And still after numerous calls toManagement, credit division, sales and customer care STILL NO ASSISTANCEI tried to apply direct and was told the team should cancel the request in store and do a credit review request which i was told would take 24 hours its been two weeks and neither Bernadette or Brandon at Tygervalley bothers to call back.It was escalated to manager Lee and still nothing.The lack of customer service is abdolutely horrific.THE UTTER DISINTEREST BY THE STAFF IS DISTURBINGLY SHOCKING. I HAVE BEEN WITH VODACOM FOR THE PAST 20+YEARS AND THE EXPERIENCE AT THIS PARTICULAR BRANCH HAS LEFT A HORRIBLE AFTER EXPERIENCE THAT HAS ME THINKING THAT IM WITH THE WRONG PROVIDER.

Should be zero - firstly no Red client service , secondly charge the incorrect rate for a Red Select package, and when queried why dirrefence to advertised rate, tried to hide behind we are a franchise, and then when shoed the deal in THEIR brochure, after disappearing for at least 10 minutes, advised they could not load the deal, thad to be done by HO and on Monday only. Manager Leroy also not very customer friendly !
