I bought a stylus pencil there for my daughter. She loves drawing and designing on her tablet. R349.95 later, we realised that it is nothing but a sharpened piece of plastic with a piece of rubber at one end. The sharp plastic point doesnt even work on her tablet. I am going back there to demand a refund for this robbery, but I wont hold my breath. Will never buy there again and will do my best to deter others from making the same mistake.

I bought something there and lost the slip but the item still has their price tag on plus I never received the CD that was supposedly in the packaging. I took long to return it due to covid. They didnt let me.I tried again and they told me when I escalated that I can download the driver. The item was a device to get access to the internet on my computer so I cant download from the internet or I wouldnt have bought the product.I have obviously sorted my internet a different way and no longer need the product but they didnt really try and assist at all.

Okay so i see alot of people complaining about products here, the products the shop sells are mainly from places like china and some knockoff brands(some of the brands are good you just gotta do research).Like for phone cases anything is good by them, also their small collectables are good too.Just dont expect the qaulity of products that cost 3 times as much cuz your not gonna get it unless you buy original high qaulity products from beand names.

Really unhelpful service. I bought headsets on recommendation of staff. Brought them back 2 days later completely sealed and unopened as I got USB ones for the same price. They refused to give me a refund because it was a sale item. Manager was rude. I think it is so unfair stupid not to be able to get refund for a product that can go straight back on the shelf and one they still stock. Not happy and wont buy there again. Will sell the store credit for half the price before I go back there.

Today I had a terrible experience at Gadget Time Tygervalley.I went in initially to purchase a VGA cable.When I arrived home, one of the small copper filaments was broken off. As well as the side screw being completely bent. Seemed as if the product was second hand.I then went to return the product.When I attempted to connect the 2nd VGA cable, I found the broken off filament inside my PCs VGA fitting!!! Please see attached picture.Now I cannot use any VGA connection at all.I then called in and was referred to as BRU on the phone.Highly unprofessional and will never use the franchise Gadget Time again.STAY AWAY

Poor service. Wasted my time getting a screen protector from them that they cut themselves. It was cut too small with a big rim of my screen still being exposed. Went back and they would have replaced it and cut a bigger screen protector. But the machine kept rebooting. After 30minutes of wasting my time, they offered me a refund and made sure to remove the small screen protector from my phone. They would not even leave it as a courtesy for wasting my time and petrol. They took it off and had to through it away. Will never support them again. Their attitude stink. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I bought a dash cam last year in November, (Anytek) which costs R1999. 00, l phoned the shop to inform them their product, was not of the best quality, and that l would be bringing it back so that they can check it out. I had done the first call around May 2020.Today (31/09/2020) at around 12pm l went to the shop to ask them about their product, the manager was so rude, aggressive, and helpless, as he told me that he doesnt care about this query. There was a heated argument, and this manager could not handle his inflammable temper and he physically grabbed me by my collar and tried to drag me out of the shop, saying get out of my shopThis is very bad behavior from a manager, who goes to an extent of physically harassing customers. I reported the matter to tge Tygervally centre security and management.While we were at the shop, we tried about 15 of these cameras, that did not work. If you are planning to buy a dash cam from Gadgets, think twice. They are selling faulty products knowingly.

Pathetic poor customer services. I purchased their gel/silicone screen cover @ R250 and it tore after just 1 day. Management refused to give me a refund and insisted there is nothing wrong with their product.

The utmost worst customer service I received in my life. Had my screen protector placed on there and after two attempts they said they going to refund me. The guy just took my card and handed me a slip. I had go back to ask when I will receive the funds. Only at that point he said it will take a few days. When telling him that he should have explained that before hand he said he does not have time for this. When calling the regional manager which is their complaint process I had to wait 10 minutes for him to then shout at me saying i got my refund and there is nothing he can do. They removed the protection I had on my phone before I came to the store as well. Leaving me in an even worse condition and being shouted at with no apology.

Bluetooth earphone purchase. I purchased a set of earphones, switch them on and the sound was only coming from one earphone - they had literally just been opened switch on and returned. The manager at Tygervalley refused a refund and said that it was ahygiene issue just like underwear he also then proceeded to accuse me of lying by saying how does he know what I am saying is the truth, maybe they work perfectly The earphones were literally switch on and the error presented itself it and they were returned 2 days after purchase. I find this ridiculous and you website actually states all products can be returned within 30 days, when I originally purchased the earphones I was also never warned they could not be returned. I will be posting this on hellopeter, he then proceeded to write a date in pen on the back of my receipt and sign it - he then took the faulty earphones and gave no refund, and told me I must check back with him as its a busy time of the year as to the progress of my return... So now I have no earphones and no money and the guy is telling me it could be up to 21 days before I hear anything back .. DISGRACEFUL. is this even legal?

I have visited this store many times. Sometimes they have what I am looking for and sometimes they dont, BUT each and everytime I have visted the store I have received excellent service. The employees are well informed and willing to share their knowlege with you.

On Sunday the 25th of November we entered the store to be served by the most unfriendly and rude manager that I have ever come across in my life. This experience ensured that I will never return to this particular Gadget Time. Very dissappointed!

Johann is a sour and unpolished person. What amazes me is that he is not brief, especially when reading the reviews here. But business is certainly so good that they do not disturb them. Will definitely not go there again while he is there.
