Turn back and go somewhere else. We signed a contract for Fibre about 40 + days ago. They came to do some installation by the 2nd week, but never installed the router. Initially when we went in to sign the contract, they assured us that it would take 21 days to install everything. Now telkom is saying we should contact open serve and vice versa. There were numerous calls and even visits to the store,but they just dont care. The people working here have no idea what to do except for making you sign. Avoid this store!

Worst service in the world, I was in your store on 7 days to upgrade my phone contract. The sales agent Brand K, was suppose to update me on the status of my upgrade, as they supposedly didnt have stock of the requested device. I have emailed her numerous times to which she doesnt respond and no one at the branch answers the phone. The excuse is that due to COVID-19 no one is able to man the phone, yet when I was in the store there were sales agent, standing around doing nothing and just leaving the phone to ring. If you were so concerned about COVID-19 safety, would you not prefer having less customers coming to the store. They would be avoid by simply answering the phone.If anyone is thinking of doing business with Telkom in general, I would say stay far away as they are the most unhelpful and unprofessional company out there. Secondly, if you are forced into having to go to a Telkom Branch then Blue Route will definitely be the one I would avoid, as you will receive no assistance from them.

Went in for an upgrade on Wednesday, was helped by Charne and she was absolutely amazing. She answered every single question politely, even managed to have a good laugh or two. Wonderful customer service, very patient 👍🏽.

After completing upgrade online finally got it done in a reasonable amount of time at tokai blue route thanks to grant for getting me that brownie points with the wife was able to get a decent upgrade and surprise for the wife in less than what I had budgeted for the upgrade

I WOULD AVOID THIS STORE! THEY HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE! They dont answer their phones and dont get back to you! My wife was assured by Melissa that she would receive her phone within two days. She got it after six and only after phoning to discover that they had phones in stock! No contact and the phone is never answered - attempted calls on six different occasions! My wifes no. does not work ten days after they did an upgrade (you call the no. and the message is heard This no. is not available on the MTN network!) TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY, THE OWNER CALLED ME ON FRIDAY AND APOLOGISED FOR THE POOR SERVICE AND PROMISSED TO GET BACK TO ME WITHIN AN HOUR! I AM STILL WAITING AND THE LINE IS STILL FAULTY!

Honestly telkom blue route does not even deserve stars. Ive been in and out since last year trying to get cancel my contract after it already expired. Telkom needs to call their clients and say they hi its Telekom ur contract is coming to the end date WOULD YOU LIKE TO CONTINUE WITH US OR GO OVER TO A MONTH TO MONTH. But no Telekom decided for me after I asked the contract to be canceled not breaking any of the terms of the contract. You get to blue route its full. Their is older people in the line there isnt even chairs for them. Stood in the line for almost an hour and didnt move once. So what exactly is all of the consultants doing inside the store while customers wait so long. Worst service I ever received. Ill never take any contract out at blue route or any Telekom stores. Just good enough to take your money every month but dont worry about costumers needs.

Some of the employees are efficient and do go out of their way to provide good service, but your overall experience at this store will not be pleasant. You can’t phone this store and you can’t make a quick stop. Just to ind out if they have stock available of a specific product is impossible. I have personally been trying to upgrade an existing contract through them and it’s just impossible, unless you are willing to go in and sit there for over an hour just to get a chance to speak to someone.

Had to go twice to upgrade my wireless data contract. The first attempt was not successful due to the fingerprints not being accepted. The salesperson, blamed home affairs. I was told to come back tomorrow. I gave the salesperson (Amber) my cell no and asked her to contact me when home affairs and telkom connection was successful, so I could come back and complete the transaction. I also asked for the landline number so I could phone the next day to see if I could come in and do the fingerprints thing. The next day at lunchtime I tried phoning the landline number. On the 3rd attempt a woman picked up the phone but promptly put it back down. I tried two more times but it just rang. I took a chance and just went to Telkom. I saw Amber eventually and got sorted. There was still a wait as there were printer problems. But the fingerprints story was now online. Bad customer service.

Quite simply; Do not use Telkom! We signed up after being given completely false information about the connection speed of the line that they would provide and they only admitted to the real specifications once we were signed - a difference of 80mb/s!!!!! They still have not returned to me regarding this after 2 months, and yet continue to take the monthly amount from us Departments do not coordinate with other departments and they cannot cope fairly and properly with their current amount of customers. There are now some smaller companies who provide excellent service. After using one of these smaller companies it is clear that the service, the line speed, the cost and the lack of complication due to so many departments means that we will NEVER use Telkom again. How can a telecommunications giant expect to run when their systems are often offline?

Brilliant service. Sometimes people complain about the service but sometimes the customers go on and on about things that should rather be handled over the phone. The lady at Till 5 handled a long moan from one of the customers.I had to upgrade and this was the fastest upgrade I ever did with any cellular network

Useless store with staff that dont care and dont know what they are doing. Attitude towards customers is probably the worst Ive had and technicians are useless because no Lan cables in store to check routers... And the number is incorrect that is given online and when I say they should update it, they look at me with blank faces... Quick to take my money but after sales support and service is useless with Telkom...

Sometimes a queue, but not a long wait. Worth it as the staff are very helpful in sorting out anything. Even fixing issues that are created from the call center, and and normaly beyond their job description. I think Telkom could spend a bit more money here to fix the place up and give their stuff more comfort and support as they do so much.Update: two weeks after posting this I noticed they are doing a renovation now.

Absolutely useless. What is the point of a service point where doing anything more complicated than taking out an account requires someone to call you back? Not to mention the fact that it turns into an infinite loop, I come, they phone, they dont do their job, I come back, they phone back, and so on and so on. Rather cancel telkom account. Its easier

I went the store on Tuesday wanting to port my number as I just took out a new contract with telkom. I was told that it will take 24 to 48 hours to port from vodacom to telkom. Its Friday today and I had to phone customer service to find out that the application is not completed so they sent an email request to the store to complete it, and the number on the website to call the store takes me to a voicemail which means I cant get hold of them. Now I have to literally go in and find out if they completed my applicaton and how long I have to wait now again for it to be done. I am disappointed..really.

If I could give a store zero stars Id give it to this store. This guys dont care if they made mistakes by giving you wrong information. you then get charged extra on your bill. When you go to the store and tell them that they are the ones who advised incorrectly. Theyll give you their area managers email address. You can email him and you will not get a response. If I could cancel my contract with telkom Id do so. I will never recommend anyone to telkom ever again.

Went to the Telkom shop in Blue Route Mall to ask about transferring phone to my new address (in same exchange). Woman, most disinterested, said I think you can do it but Im not sure. Needless to say I left without getting any information and I was not impressed. Not helpful or interested. Shape up Telkom! No wonder the cellphone companies are putting you under so much pressure!

Literally the most frustrating service ever! Waiting three weeks for an upgrade no answer when you call, arrive to collect and they cannot activate or give me the upgrade because the servers are down. Putrid! Pathetic! Ridiculous!!!Communication is non-existent - the irony. This Telkom store cannot assist you with a cancellation of ADSL line or change in director. You need to go to another store according to them. There is a clear unwillingness to assist. Service agent Shanae Davids that attempted to assist was very unhelpful.
