Came here on a cold winter evening and it was so warm and inviting. We received very kind service I would highly recommend. I’ve heard it gets really full here on a weekend. To avoid that a weekday afternoon or evening is perfect. Great burgers will definitely be back to try something different.

Highly recommend! Caribbean shake was great! Prawns/Calamari and Cesar Salad were delicious! Nicely open to get fresh air from the ocean with stunning views of the boardwalk and beach. Felt comfortable with their COVID precautions - sanitizing, temp checks, and masks on correctly over staffs nose.

Great location. Friendly service. Solid menu. I had great fish and chips. Fish fresh and chips crispy. Well priced. Great view. Portion could have been a little larger and maybe a bread roll but didn’t lose them a star. Would definitely return.

We had such a super time!! Tracy was our waitress and she was SUPERB!! I recommend this place to anyone. She chose our cocktails throughout the evening and was so much fun!

Location- Perfectly located across the street from the beach in Camps bay. Stunning views of the ocean.Service- Did not get a chance to experience it for more than 5 minutes.Experience- Based on the short interaction with the waiter, it was a disaster. (Never got his name, because he didn’t want to answer.) On a not so busy bright and sunny afternoon, sat down with our dog leashed on the side. Asked the waiter to please open the umbrella up because of the scorching sun in our faces. Received a blunt gesture to wait. Our dog lets out a small bark when he arrives with the menu. And that’s when he actually speaks- “I’m not going to give you the free bowl of water if you bark at me. And you’re going to sit here starve to death.” Created a scene by repeating the incident to other customers seated.After this (un)pleasant introduction from the waiter we just had to get up and leave to find a place to get some food.Vibe- All sorts of rude and non-inclusive. Don’t really care about ‘customer service.’ “Dog friendly if you’re seated outside.”- Not very much.All that glitters is not gold. Every place that pretends to be cool, is not.After the commotion, failed to even get a minute with the manager. A place predominantly driven by tourism should definitely take care of the way their staff represents them. The overall attitude just opposes the whole vibe they strive for.

Extremely rude and sarcastic manager. Yes they did state T and Cs apply. Thats all good and well..BUT they never specified whether its takeaway or sit down and when I asked for the list/copy of Terms and conditions (which is my right as a customer) I was told by the manager that he doesnt have it.Please dont get me wrong. My partner and I sat here for 3 hours having drinks so it wasnt a take away situation. I have attached the picture of their advertisement board.

Extremely bad service. I emailed them and requested a table a day before, no response. On the day I called and my table was confirmed. No communication as to if our reservation was confirmed. On the day, we were told we could only be seated if we had our IDs. The manager was witty and sarcastic.

Amazing atmosphere, great place for drinks and hanging out with your friends. Hands down serves the best cocktails Ive had in Camps Bay, the staff and service was great, the ocean view is just the cherry on top.

Poor service. Made a booking and a table wasnt reserved for me, was given many excuses and told to wait between 15-30min. Eventually left to go to another restaurant but it was such a disappointment, and for this to happen on my birthday.

Very pleasant but busy establishment on the Camps Bay strip.

Setting is great right across the road from main beach in Camps Bay. Great breakfast spot. The potato rosti that comes with the breakfast is sublime.

Only people that made it bearable were the incredible waiters & waitresses. Manager was extremely rude, would not recommend this place to anyone & certainly won’t be back.

Perfect hospitality. I appreciated the warm service afforded to us by staff and owner/management. I will certainly be heading there again!

The service here was so bad. I had really high hopes coming here for the first time and because of my bad experience I would not eat here again. Especially during this time with COVID, hygiene is important. Orderd a glass of wine, came to me with water dripping in the inside. Send it back for a neat clean wiped glass, came back the same. So I decided I would wait for it to dry. End up having lipstick stains around the rim. Mynt, please pay attention to detail in the future.

With a view like that doesnt always matter what u eat or drink but was a great experience good coffee and good breakfast will probably be back

We normally walk past this restaurant. I was the one who said to my partner lets try out this place... So when it goes wrong, you just dont hear the end off it at home...lol I will give 4 stars... Covid safety sign in was done. Waiters were welcoming. There was sanitizer at each table that was a nice touch. The restaurant is well located on the main strip. So you definitely in for a superb sunset. With it being adjusted lockdown level 3 no alcohol is being served so its non-alcohol cocktails being served and softdrinks. With being in Capetown for 3 weeks this place has the most expensive nonalcoholic cocktails priced at R80+ their competitor down the road sells it for R45 and up. Softdrink are also at room temperature because apparently they do not put softdrinks in the fridge, only beers and wine. These two issue made us have our drink (it was ordered and on the table already) and not even order food. The waitress also had a attitude. The manager also barged into the mens bathroom, almost as in kicking the door open... Bad experience but I think the place is still worth the 4 stars...

I thought it might fair for people to know that this place (i.e. namely the boss) treated, and might still be treating, workers horrifically.My wife worked there once, which was short lived by the regular swearing, degradation and bullying of this place (i.e. namely from the boss).This was not only to my wife, but most (if not all) the workers there.Please do not support a place like this. There are many other great places in Camps Bay to visit.

Always the best food and drinks. I am a fan on the Pino Colada. Owner and staff always have the best service. If you are looking for sunset and good food. I recommend Mynt Cafe. 5-star service. Thanks Theo!!

We had a lovely breakfast overlooking the ocean and the scenery is superb from this place. All of the food was excellent but the coffee was a little bit too hot and not as.good as we had hoped.

We were served immediately and greeted by the manager. The staff are friendly and the food was amazing! Aestheticly pleasing interior. Enjoyed our visit. Great view of the beach. Best breakfast in the Campsbay area!

I had the seafood salad, it was exciting and yummy. My brother decided on a sandwich. I asked him why a sandwich. He said, they dont make an ordinary sandwich...next time I might try their sandwichSitting there on the pavement under the umbrellas, staring st the ocean, is crazy amazing. We had a lovely waitress looking after us. I loved every second of it. If I was with my girlfriends, I would have taken full advantage of those happy hour specials

Still my favorite sundowner pad in Campsbay. Best Long Island by a long mile or any othe cocktail and the small tapas style snacks are also delicious! Did I mention that this is almost my second kitchen... Breakfast with the best cappuccino in the bay will put you in the right mood for whatever you chose to do today, being it just chilling here till the sun goes does (see my first line again) or preparing yourself for the beach or sightseeing. Enjoy the front porch of the gateway into and out of Camps Bay.

The food was delicious well presented, we really enjoyed it but unfortunately I cant say the same for service, the waiter need some more training.

Lovely location with heavenly cocktails, perfect for a Cape Town Sunset experience. Things are a bit pricey but you are paying for good quality products. Service was a bit questionable and slow, but otherwise alright. Will definitely be back!

The food presentation and taste of meals was impaculate. Very viby and laid back to watch the sunset and live DJ present. I wasnt impressed with a manager, as I felt abit of a racial preference on my next days visit.

Had brunch with my brother there today. Sadly it was a very disappointing experience. Very bad service by that i mean SLOW. Coffee cold and the Sunrise breakfast horrible. Toast rock hard from old bread. Poached eggs hard even though i asked for medium to soft and the small beef sausage also been cooked a few times. So would not recommend them for a get together or a meal.

Place has potential but service is wack. Expect to wait an hour for ur drink to arrive and don’t even bother booking, you’ll wait 30/40 mins for ur table. You might not even get it.

Excellent atmosphere and service. Highly recommend the cocktails. Food is good with generous portions. The chicken schnitzel is big enough to be shared unless you are really hungry. Also slightly quieter without the in crowd all posing and preening which for me was a big bonus.

Excellent spot for a Sunday afternoon drink/lunch. Very attentive service and good selection. DJ was slightly too loud for easy conversation which distracted from the experience a bit.

Mynt almost became my go to Brasserie on the Camps Bay seafront. The menu isnt to challenging and food consistent over the first two occasions I visited. Spare ribs with beer, on the first outing one evening this and salads and white wine for lunch on a busy afternoon in season. It didnt work the evening I booked for a party of eight. The food was poor, the main courses came out before the starters, I was embarrassed in front of a lot of Joburgers. Oh! And did I mention that the food was bad and the bill huge.Maybe, I might give them another chance.

The worst service, coffee without bringing sugar, no extra spoon for parmesaan and garlic. Food was bland and nothing special. Looks were deceiving.

Extremely poor services, 4 different waiters was at our table right infront, we asked for simple things people normally order and so many mistakes. After several times that our requests we pay for were ignored like a simple slice of lemon or even tamato sauce, we said something and one of the managers came and NEVER ONCE apologized, stood over my friends food WITHOUT MASK and argued with her over calamari tubes..Worst experience and service in Campsbay. He then proceeded to tell us how long he has been in the business and all the stars the restaurants had then he patted my friend on the back with a cocky comment. ! So unprofessional. To top it all off, the braught 3 different Bills, after the 2nd attempt almost losing R200 on their side, after all the bad treatment we still honestly told them they dont have the right bill and need to add things. Finally 3rd time lucky...We both (me and my friend) are in 6 Star services and working with foreigners, we travel regularly , we know what service is! A LION NEVER NEEDS TO TELL YOU HE IS A LION. !
