Deluxe coffee is my favorite beans and the most delicious in Cape Town. The staff at the gardens branch needs some serious revision or training however. For a coffee shop the barrista takes way too long to get coffee orders through the take away window and staff have Im too cool to care attitude. This has been my experience the last 2 times I was there and other customers waiting in line were also not happy with the long wait. Its an easy problem to fix and hope the bad service at this branch doesnt push customers away from this delicious brand.

I dont think I would be wrong in saying this is probably the best coffee in cape. Its certainly the best priced coffee for the value that you get. It definitely feels like a local place with regulars and unspoken rules like how to pay. People just ordering coffee in snapping without aksing how much it costs. That make you feel like a regular.

Excellent place to grab a coffee. Service is superb and theyre open on Saturdays. Best thing for me is that they intentionally make coffee that is a drinkable temperature but still sufficiently hot so you can drink your coffee immediately when you got it! :)

So, my boyfriend and I have been talking about this place since we went there a year and a half ago. We went there on a whim because it was in our bnb guidebook and ordered flat whites. We drank those flat whites and went to pay when their credit card machine broke. We were only in Cape Town for 3ish days and they told us to just come back and pay another day. It was incredibly gracious and the coffee was so good that we HAD TO go back anyway.So we went back another day, bought beans and got more coffees and paid for our original drinks. Just the best service I’ve ever experienced at a coffee shop and also the BEST coffee I’ve ever had in the world. We’ve traveled extensively and to many different coffee regions & this was just the best I’ve ever experienced. I almost want to go back to cape town strictly for it! So amazing and so glad I got to experience their hospitality! Thank you!

Deluxe Coffeeworks roasts my favourite coffee in Cape Town. This is the main roastery in Roodehek Street. It has a seriously cool hipster vibe, and shares The Yard with The Dogs Bollocks and The Witches Tits. Seriously good place to grab a coffee.
