The coffee was good but the salmon on my bagel was ice cold on the inside, like it wasnt properly defrosted, and the cream cheese was spread thin like margerine. The manager was hassling the barista and the waiter in what he probably thought came across as playful, but honestly made me too uncomfortable to report my disappointment in my bagel for fear of getting them into trouble :/

A friend and I were the only people in the coffee shop. We ordered coffees and muffins. We both wanted carrot muffins but they said they only had 1 carrot left so we had to order another flavor. We then waited forever for our coffees and when they finally arrived we then had to ask for sugar. When our muffins finally came they were crummy, broke apart easily, and were definitely not fresh. They also just gave a very small piece of butter with the muffins and nothing else. I expected jam and cheese, but nothing. I was just not impressed with the whole experience. Wont go back

Zero service at all. The positioning of the coffee shop, inside of the building itself is nice but we stood at the door and didnt get any attention then went to the counter and the person behind the counter, a man, really couldnt be any less friendly or helpful, he wasnt interested in selling anything to us or offering any service.

Pretty good coffee, and their salmon and cream cheese bagel was good too. A little difficult to find by car if you dont know what youre looking for - youll actually need to drive around the block for parking. It was quiet when I was there, and quite lovely. The wifi is free and fast, and the waiting staff friendly.

This is always an excellent stop to get refreshments or have a pastry when you are on foot in the city. I have a kid and in the last trip to the Cape Town carnival I as where I would find. A toilet for him so late at night, but thankfully Grind 4 Truth was on the way. The waiters are helpful and friendly and the pan au chocolate is first class. Coffee is great too.

This little coffee house gem is my husbands favourite place. There coffee is mmm tasty, and so well made. The little artwork on our cuppacinos are so cool. Very laid back vibe. Free wifi whilst you have your coffee and a quick lunch. Located just a stone throw outside of the CBD but within walking distance to return to the buzz. Lovely venue.. You have to try it it you love your coffee

Service was good, the adjacent exhibition is interesting, but the rest was only meh. The coffee was nothing to write home about and the food was basic - the salad was mostly green leaves and the dressing was given in its original (store-bought) bottle.

Average. Its a pity it is situated in a space where formerly oppressed human have been buried- see photographs of boxes containing human remains. Truth should step up and remove itself from here. Do not play music where the dead reside. Let them rest in peace in death because they did not have peace in life.

They have started charging 20% above the real Truth coffee shop (and other Truth coffee retailers) for their beans since the real Truth coffeeshop (which is in buitenkant street) got status of best coffee shop in the world. This fake truth coffee shop also has zero vibe and service is slow. This coffee shop masks as the real Truth by using the real Truth brands name but they are not actually the same or related to the actual Truth coffee that is rated top in the world.

Truth makes some of the best coffee in Cape Town and they know their stuff here. My Americano is always smooth and well balanced, not bitter or overly strong. You can buy your favourite beans and there is a Truth Coffee Academy with Barista training. The spacious and airy building also contains the Prestwich Memorial exhibition os the former turbulent history. This branch is located at beginning of vibey Green Point with its trendy shops. Although in the middle of the city, it is lovely to take an outdoor seat and chill out in what is a calm and cool green space.
