Vida branches can be hit and miss, but this is probably the best one Ive been to. Unlike others, the coffee is really good and the staff is extremely friendly and efficient. Its very easy to get to, because it sits outside the Constantia Village Mall.

Busy cafe on the outside of Constantia village so easy enough to get coffee and a snack on the go. Sufficient seating outside for groups.

Vida is well known for fast and efficient service, unfortunately this was not the case when i visited. A few people were waiting impatiently for their orders. This Vida is well located on the outside of Constantia Village, with a decent outside are.

Lovely outside seating

A chain restaurant/Cafe that specializes in coffee, smoothies, cold sandwiches (that can be heated there), bagels, and some cool mixers. Overall service was above par for a traditional chain restaurant of this size and the prices are hard to argue with. They run many specials and you can always find something they have that will fit your liking.

The service and goods are what I expect though the internet is mostly unusable (Ive tested on different days as I even bought a bundle from AlwaysOn who is Vidas WiFi provider) and there are often flies when I sit inside and work on my laptop.If they can fix this, then Ill improve my rating though unfortunately I cant in good faith rate them higher when there are these issues.

The Vida in Constantia Village has lost me as a customer.The manager or supervisor on duty Tuesday 21 July 2020 had no customer service etiquette. She seemed irritated and cold.My colleague and I often order toasties for a late breakfast every second or third day but yesterday we were offered a special like the manager offered for R35 toastie and coffee. (Coffee which we never drink there)We thought Wow! Lets do that.As it was my colleagues turn to pay for brunch that day, upon waiting for our meals my colleague noticed that the bill was higher than what the special price was. She never took note of the price at the time as we were chatting as payment was happening. Long story short when we queried the bill with the gentleman at the door the female manager SHOUTED from across the other side of the window at the both of us to come over her window, stating: Let them come over here as I was dealing with them infront of other patrons waiting to be served. I was so disgusted with this woman.The manor in which she shouted.Instead of apologising to us as we are the customer by saying you know what if I explained incorrectly or wasnt clear enough about the promotion wed glady do the refund for you, but instead she worked herself up and persistently told us I cannot refund you as we have already made your coffeeAbsolutely pathetic. I myself work in the same industry, and service like that will never be tolerated.

Constantia Village Vida e Caffè is the same as most other Vida e Caffès although their dark hot chocolate is better than others. Their flat white is great although thats typically a fair expectation. Service is good as well.

Vida E Caffe has the best coffee in Cape Town. The coffee is affordable, delicious and always comes with a small dark chocolate piece on the side. The staff are very friendly, helpful and always create a lovely vibe within the shop.

Awesome spot to chill out, amazing coffee, although it wasnt as hot as Id like it to be this time. They have a water bowl for your pets which was perfect because we had just finished a long walk with the dogs so they could have a drink while I got my drink :-)

The friendly, lively staff made my day even before the yummy iced coffee. Also happy to note they offer paper straws.

Unfortunately 4 out of the 5 times I have visited Vida e at Constantia Village I have received poor service. Final straw today. I took my travel mug and ordered a single vanilla latte. When it arrived it was a flat white. I presented my till slip but the staff member would not remake the latte in my travel mug. Eventually one of the other staff members removed the mug, washed it and made the latte minus any froth on the top. The third attempt was no better - no froth and cold. Probably the last time Ill visit.

I love Vida and this is one of the best! Great location with ample parking and a beautiful view of table mountain in the morning sun. They also make the BEST Quattro muffins of any Vida. Ive tried many. Trust me ;-)
