Delicious, healthy food options, however the wait is long even when seated. The waiters are friendly. Beautiful views while enjoying your meal. Its a nice place for a quick stop, nicely decorated but not fancy.

What a place the look and feel is awesome they’ve done a great job at the interior and feel. The coffee is nice and the food was delicious. The team are friendly and helpful. The experience is one that you will enjoy they have some vegan options too and you can grab some takeaways.

We were eager to go to this place, just cause it looks so cool from the outside. Inside, didn’t really love the attitude of the staff, and the food wasn’t amazing. Good coffee though!

Food is so yummy, and options vor all kinds of dietary needs. The coffee is the best you will find in camps bay. Staff are friendly and super attentive. And the views and vibe is just the bow that wraps up this entire package! A real must try when you visit the bay

2nd time coming - and probably the last.The avo smash and the coffee from the first visit were nice - I might go as far as saying that the cappuccino was very good!But the burgers were a massive fail - the monster cheese was just monstrous - not in size - but as on overall experience - the bun was completely devoid of character [what youd get from a supermarket, cut in half, and just dump it on the plate], the patty was just mediocre [the cheddar was there but the cheese sauce was nowhere to be found], and the size was just normal. Strange for R148. We also had the vegan burger at the table and the patty was overdone [conservative in the description] and crumbling when you tried to fork it.But the biggest disappointment were the fries (which I could see everywhere on the menu - so I was really pumped up for something special... I assumed at the time that the establishment really takes pride in the product)... Not fire fried to completion unfortunately - how can you even mess that up?Nope - there quite a few empty tables, so not busy at all...It was Sunday brunch and I assume the cook had a fantastic Saturday night. Kudos to him.

Apparently this is the first complaint about stale pastry on a Sunday! Dont order pastries on a Sunday. This morning I ordered an Almond Croissant. It was stale! when asked if it was freshly baked I was told in a very rude manner that it was from yesterday and that they never received any complaints. apparently it ok to serve stale pastries.

Not the best start for a cafe in such a competitive market.1. Looks and tastes like a croissant you bought at the supermarket - this isnt a croissant. Its a croissant looking piece of white bread.2. Your staff didnt think to warm my food, put it on a plate, bring preserves or bring the croissant to the table. They called me over to the bar after I sat down to hand me a paper lunch bag with my cold food inside. Seems like a basic service quality to have got so wrong.I was so excited to see a new care opening up - this experience was very disappointing. Try harder.

I had lunch at Firefly today. A really nice experience. A nice ambience, with fast and friendly service too. The menu is refreshing - not the usual same old, same old that you find in many similar establishments. I had cheesy chips with pulled pork - absolutely delicious. This was washed down with freshly ground coffee.Most pleasing to see is that the staff all rigorously practice the expected social distancing and sanitising protocols

Worst service ever. Waited for more than an hour and 20 minutes for our food. Saw patrons around us coming and going. Not once did the steward enquire or gave us feedback regarding our order.

I absolutely love Firefly Cafe - it’s the perfect meeting spot on the Camps Bay strip. Their coffees are great and their Hot Chocolate OMG, hit my chocoholic spot perfectly. They really have a wonderful diverse menu. They cater for everyone. I love how many delicious vegan options they have even though I’m not vegan. I have eaten there 3 times now and their food is fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Each time I’ve been, the staff have been super friendly. I’ve also noticed that there are a lot of locals which is awesome and I’ve spotted a few celebs their too. Such a cool vibey cafe! A much needed change to the tourist traps down the road.

Apart from me not knowing one has to order at the counter, and sitting for a while before doing so, I had great experience. This place has a great vibe (Jozi style!), with a super healthy food offering and excellent coffee. Highly recommended for a quick meal or takeaways.

The firefly cafe in Campsbay is an absolute must. The coffee is amazing with their own special blend and the menu has a wide variety of vegan and non vegan options. The service is outstanding and the friendly staff makes you feel welcome and apart of the firefly family. On the beach front of campsbay there is no better place to get your coffee fix for the day!

Didn’t have good food experience.Butternut chicken salad with vegan mayo (if not mistaken, because how it makes any sense to add vegan mayo on chicken salad?)Old tasting chicken (explains the fact that it was in shredded form), tastless butternut consistency of a slug, sour mayo. No other flavors, so only old and sour.Served in take away plates and fresh juices(juice was good!) served in plastic cups while having seat-in breakfast.Something got to change FireFly Cafe.

Sadly I didnt take a picture, they could accept credit cards, I ordered an orange juice with ice on the side and they literally brought me just over a half glass of orange juice. When i questioned the waiter he said it was too accommodate the ice.. after i added the separate glass of ice cubes my glass of orange juice was still a little lacking... not somewhere Id go again!

Just a totally awesome and chilled vibe to sit down and do some studying while drinking the best coffee. Their staff are amazing plus they have an even more amazing variety of vegan food and treats!!!

Decided to try out Firefly this morning. The coffee and breakfast was good, however the service was appalling. Our waitress brought an extra croissant to the table after we politely explained that we did not order it. She returned three times insisting that we did order it and in her words “I just deliver the food, you guys need to sort it out with the manager.” She then continued to be disrespectful by making it obvious that she was annoyed with us, throwing the cutlery on the table and blatantly trying to make us feel uncomfortable. It really is such a pity!

Food was average after a lengthy wait, we had to request condiments and I saw one of the chefs handling semi-poached eggs with her bare hands.

Exquisite food and very friendly service. I would definitely recommend Fire Fly. Its a spot for everyone!
