Very poor communication skill. Store manager not available to take calls after calling 4 times. Staff confused dont know that they stock frozen baby hake and price....waited. Person named Asanda assisted and called back giving confirmation stock and price however I waisted over R30 rand being put on hold by previous staff on phone and really calling 4 times to get an answer....please Mr. Branch manager get you house in order on communication skills and product knowledge.

Worst service ever. And the attendants have an attitude.Had to go to Checkers Rondebosch for something they said couldnt be done. Terrible service.

Too small for this area. When the local street vendors have better veggies outside on the pavement than inside the shop....one has to ask...why? The butchery needs a butcher. I have never seen meat cut like this and sold as something its not. More than once a special deal advertised gets missed by the butchery. Overall, this place is OLD, too small, bad security, and the stock control varies from week to week. Friendly staff, and certainly got the basics for the neighbourhood right, but as far as value for money....no. Shoprite can and does better than this branch.

So Im a daily at shoprite Woodstock as I live in the road, and this morning I needed assistance. And the fruit and veg controller named Daynian Arendse was very helpful in assisting with the boxes Ive asked for and very polite with all his customers.Thank you Daynian , sorry if I have misspelled your name

Constantly the worst shopping experience of my life, from the fresh food to the cashiers Wish someone else will take this very conveniently located shop over!! Disgrace of a Shoprite.

The staff are very unhelpful and can sometimes be rude. I think that some counters like the money market should have more staff to cover the clients needs. Waiting in the queue to even play lotto can be a nightmare. The shop is very compact and the isles are narrow and always full of trolleys that are awaiting off loading of products on to their shelves which make pushing a trolley somewhat of a challenge sometimes. I wouldnt recommend buying fresh veggies or fruit as their produce isnt always fresh and you can buy better quality on the street from the vendors right outside their doors.

The aisles are packed too tight but the shop is setup conveniently in in the community

Waiting 20 minutes to be served at the computicket station is NOT On!! Super frustrating. Firstly that I cant just print my own tickets, but that I also have to drive to a place where I can pick them up and then waste 25minutes of my time to get the tickets

One of the only places to go grocery shopping in Woodstock. Great for essentials and non perishables. Very little fresh produce and only street parking on a very busy main road.

Smaller than most of the others weve shopped in, but has everything you need and the cashiers are amongst the most efficient. Conveniently situated on the main road.

Well price specials, great selection for a home. Meats also large variety. Also well stocked fresh produce area.

#shopritewoodstock got very rude cashiers, she said pay first then I will pack incase your card declined as if I was paying with a card mxmm rubbish. Please train your stuff well.

So waiting for the competition to turn up here - this is the only convenient supermarket servicing the area. The place is overcrowded, is desperate for an up-grade in the look and facilities and more till points, the queues here is painful and owing to the space limitation the till queue stretches into the aisles so shopping here is never pleasant - seems like head-office is treating their Woodstock branch like a prodigal step-child

Its a mini version of the well known Shoprite Supermarket. As small is it seems, it has all everyday products everyone buys on a daily and occassionally.

Always stocked up on necessities, fast moving lines because of double till lines. Friendly and helpful Managers/ress.

The shop has quite stocked and serves the sorrounding community of Woodstock as its just a walking distance for everybody. There are two things I feel they should change the queues sometimes gets very long especially after working hours its either the cashiers must work very fast or maybe increase till points, the second thing is with the cashiers must be taught customer care I bought two doughnuts the other day it happened the cashier punched only one when I checked the change and the till is when I saw it was only one, so I told the cashier that you took money for only one whilst they are two she replied me angrily and very rude that I asked myself what mistake I had done to tell her the error she had made. Thanks to the security who came to stabilise the situation by telling the cashier to apologise to me for I was about to call the manager.

Nice, friendly and very helpfull staff. The Manager is always available to listen to suggestions.

Always get what I want here and they offer a trolley service so I get to walk home with my trolley and unpack my groceries at my door - convenient

Cashiers always seem angry... Makes me think theyre not treated well. Queues often very long so cant run in for a quick shop. Can get a few basics like tinned or dry goods but fresh produce doesnt always seem so fresh.

They not bad but sometimes dont have enough stock if their products.

Very happy to see that you have doubled up your paystations. Such a huge relief from those endless queuing. Could do with extra spacing for convenient movement.

For a quicky shopping this spot is good if u driving towards the southern suburbs n UCT, u just pull over hop out buy n hop in and just join the traffic

The shop is a bit on the small side catering for such a big area. This means when shopping here be prepared to queue at the tellers.

Why I gave a rating off five excellent shopping especially for the poor that has no transport excess to on route taxis ,collecting sassa money ,booking tickets for travel from here to Timbuktu lol but ioverall good they could however improve on employing more staff as they are always so so busy an improve on beieing a bit more tidy keep up the good work an service u provide to Woodstock residents an surrounding areas.

Small, gets problematic on or after payday. Long queues that fill the isles. Bakery is very bad, the food is dull, and super low quality, doesnt seem that they make any effort at all.

The service was fair,the supervisor i found very abrupt.her name is andogisi. Since wgen do you instruct the cashier to stand instead of sitting down.

Its very rare if not impossible to find a happy cashier.They are alwys grumpy like they are forced to give you service.

This is a mini shoprite you wont find everything you looking for. The lines can be long and slow at times they need to employ more cashiers.
