I have lived in milnerton for 21 years now. My parents always shopped by shoprite however shoprite has gone down hygene wise... Service has always been slow but the cleaning of the place is drastically off putting. The staff doesnt seem to care. I think I should just stick to pnp always clean and the staff always cleaning. The enterance of shoprite is not cleaned. Security does a great job in making sure everyone is sanitising but people would question why sanitize when the shop doesnt look clean? I still dont understand why staff is allowed to speak in there own language when every customer orientated company language should be English as it comes across rude to customers if they dont understand the language staff screams at eachother at the tills.Not happy with what I have seen spent a good 7mins in the place and decided to go to Pnp.If a health inspection had to take place shoprite would have closed today and no one would like to see that. Staff should take pride in doing there job and not allow this to happen.

Very cluttered And unorganised. Aisles not wheelchair user friendly. Prices generally good.

I never felt treated more disrespectful than in Shoprite Milnerton. Unbelievable unfriendly stuff. I am not even talking about that no one replies on a Good day or a thank you..I would overlook this kind of rudeness but this is just the cherry on the cake. I walked in that store 6:30pm while the store is closing at 7pm. The stuff was already busy wiping the floor and rolled their eyes on me how dare I am to shop at this time and walk over cleaned space.But this is not the end of that shopping nightmare - after reaching the cashier I had to pack my 7 bags by myself while 6 employees were standing around and having chats. After I asked a lady if she might help me she just ran away and said something in her language but her reaction and body language told me clearly that she is not even interested in giving me a hand.If you dont have manners and want to handle other with ignorance and rudeness fine you can do this kind of behaviour at home - but you dont treat strangers specially not customers like that way.This was the first and very last time I put a feed in that building and will spend my Madibas in future with other shops around where the stuff knows how to treat customers.Note to the stuff: if you dont like your job know its not the customers fault

Staff have the worst customer service. They all need serious training. The staff are rude, unhelpful and I waited almost half an hour just to pay for my goods. Will not be coming back again.

1 of my workers always bought these viennas but the 1st pack he took it was smelling awesome.He reported it to a gentleman on the floor with the Shoprite uniform,the gentleman said sorry sir im busy i have no time to assist you.MMHM hello the goods is reeking.We reported it to the front desk at the kiosk.

Fruit and vegetables are inferior standard.Staff need training ,they are rude and disinterested in assisting.Spar and PnP are just across the road so one would expect the management to try up their game to make Shoprite the obvious choice but alas...Amended - there is an improvement, staff are friendlier, veg and fruit quality has improved..store could be cleaner

Shop is always fully stocked, BUT:Some staff, like in Bakery talk to each other while one is busy with a Customer, and not saying a word to him! This is not on!Only small dedicated area at the back to enter the Store and no place to enter in front.Foreign customer in front of me gets told: You were suppose to have this weight... when they present there fruit to be rung up.How must they know, if no one helped then in the department!?I get acknowledged at the till point by; plastic bag? Good afternoon to you to! I replied.When I asked if I could have a straw, I get pointed to the kiosk where I must go and fetch it myself.It is kept behind the counter, where the till operator must stop the Q she is busy with, to give you a straw....Is this made out of gold, I asked!?I hate judging supermarkets, specially if you Love a particular one like this one.Some peoples mindset just need to be adjusted and put the Customer as the number 1 in there business and not treat them like as if they are the enemy!

The nicest Shoprite Ive been in. The staff are friendly and helpful, goods are fresh and prices are good. The store includes a bakery, cold meat deli and cooked food deli. They have safe offstreet parking at the back. Theres also a Pep stores linked, entrance is inside Shoprite.

Had a experience with their chicken and mushroom pies not up to standard. Managing staff must get bakery staff back on track. Quality that what customers deserve not inferior products. Please change supplyers.

One lady till attendent was rude

Typical Shoprite, poorly stocked especially the butchery. Dont even try to pay your Telkom/electricity/ other account here the staff are very poorly trained, it takes years and four people.

The bakery staffs are slow an lazy.... Had to wait 20 minute to be helped... An the branch manager lacks movitations an never around the store checking staffs doing their work duties and to make everything running according to the customer satisfactions

Always useful and has the essentials. Best quality fruit of all other grocery stores. Service is satisfactory.

A reasonable supermarket but a bit cramped. The parking is free and abundant which is good.

I find shopping at this store to be a mixed bag, although it has been greatly improved since their revamp. The fruit and veg selection is usually excellent - well stocked with the basics, nice fresh produce and reasonably priced. The butchery is OK - occasional nice specials here, basics are covered. Prices on other general groceries seem to be better than competitors.The only real negative point has to be the checkout process - you can stand for a very, very long time waiting, whilst people at the till seem to be doing impossibly complex transactions (mutliple cash withdrawals, managing forex portfolio, I dont know). Im sure these types of transactions could be better handled at a dedicated counter - I do fully understand the need for customers who dont have the luxury of popping off to the bank during the day.I often pop in on the way home because it can be quieter than other stores in the area, but any time saving is generally negated waiting at the cashiers. I still go back for the excellent fruit and veg, though.

No variety staff lazy and slow not enough cashiers always ques did not improve after renovations cold meats and roll counters always one person working and people must wait in long queues to be served. Really thought they would improve. If people leave meat or dairy products behind they dont put it on the shelves straight away I lays there the whole day. Cold meats dont have a variety as well and yoghurt its either or.

Im enjoying their upgrade. Its much cleaner. Lets hope it stays this way!

I am so happy with the staff at your Millerton store always helpful and friendly faces. Never a problem with exchanging goods. I am also very happy that shoprite employs staff that are able to work but possibly would not be employed elsewhere. Fantastic shoprite and keep up the good work! It gets a bit busy and the space is very limited for customers from the tills across the cigarettes counter and money market but further on Im happy shopping there

Its a normal shoprite store, staff is average and there are usually long queues during peak times. My sister the chef thinks its superb shoprite, its clean, well packed and much better than Jozi stores.

Very convenient opens till 7 on Saturdays and 5pm on Sundays.

They should have more pay tills open on busy periods. I feel the place is a bit crampy with all the cooldrinks on floors. Also their cashiers chewing bubble gum, chatting away with other workers is a no...no. Staff hair and nails not very presentable. Staff needs training in customer service.05 JULY 2019 SECOND ENTRYLast Saturday the staff and I went to go empty my one of two storage units. On our way back we passed Milnerton Shoprite and we stopped as we wanted to buy a few items, it is Saturday, and Tosh also wants to transfer money home. I needed some food as my fridge was on water and ice only. We all needed a bathroom but there was a notice that it was out of order. I asked security what now as I cannot hold much longer. The manager is called. She tells me that I must go to the new centre across the road and use their toilet facilities. I ask her so where do you go, also across the road? She says the one upstairs is just for staff for security reasons. I ask her can I please use the one upstairs can someone accompany me, as I really going to piss my pants. She says no. She took a stand and just would not help me at all. Eventually, I said I am going to pull my car into the parking lot and piss right there. CAN YOU BELIEVE THE SECURITY TOLD ME THAT IT IS NOT GOING TO LOOK RIGHT, BUT IF I HAVE TO THEN I HAVE TO...THAT WAS MY BLUFF AND I WAS CALLED ON IT. I went there yesterday especially to check if the toilet was fixed. NOT FIXED. SO NOW I AM PUTTING UP A FIGHT WITH SHOPRITE ABOUT THEIR TOILETS. WHAT ABOUT THE OLD PEOPLE HUH? Usually well stocked and good prices.looks good after the revamp and works more efficiently.theres a pep inside aswell as a shoprite liquor.theres an atm at the entrance/exit and ample parking.however their exit out the car park at the one end is very tight
