This Shoprite is CONSISTENTLY UNDER STOCKED. It is amazing how many times in one week you can return for something, which will allegedly be restocked, only not to find it. This is especially frustrating when something is on special!Additionally, some products are simply not there. So, for a market, there is little variety.From Parklands, the other nearest Shoprite is in Dunoon, which isnt really convenient. And, albeit being the same corporation, Checkers and Shoprite dont have the same specials.Honestly, very frustrating.

Definitely room for improvement. Slow qeues with only a couple of tills open. Not very clean and mice are running around everywhere. Variety is good though.

Improving with more range of products. Improvement in customer assistance. They just need also to do something with the smell that comes the butchery side. They need to do something about that. One day midmorning i walked into the shop and was welcomed with that bad smell.

Went to this Shoprite to purchase their R5 pads so I could go donate them to schools in the areas. Drove to 3 stores non had stock eventually got to this one and staff walked me around the store for 15 minutes trying to find manager.Eventually found manager who said they would go and check stock in back 20 minutes later came out and said theres no stock. I assume was then the branch manager with his group of other supervisors said they would order them in for me. I wanted to order 100 packs. They never got back to me.Wont ever go to store again gave me the run around for nearly 40 minutes and then never contacted me dissapointed.

Very nice supermarket, small but has everything you need. Service is good and staff are helpful. Has a large parking area. Next to a hardware store and close to the myciti bus station. A walk around the corner is PNA bookstore.

Sometimes I wonder if there is anyone in top management that takes note of all these negative reviews being given to this business. Because the level of poor service and compitance continues to increase at ShopRite Parklands. Its unfortunate I wasnt able to snap a picture, but the shop was in total disarray. We waited for 15 mins at the butcher section for assistance, until we had to go to the managers office. She came to us and we raised our concerns. The display was very very bad. The trays were bloody and the products were very dry. There were packets of meat in the trays probably that customers of yesterday did not buy. The smell was horrible as much as the display itself. The manager told us we could not buy so we left empty handed because there was no one to attend to us at 9:30am. This is a scenario we find ourselves in each time we go to ShopRite Parklands. The disappointing thing is that this is a big business that is provided very poor products and low service.

Rather walk to Pick n Pay than stand in a que with 4 people for 1 item. Walked out a number of times trying to get decent service. They are three quarters asleep. Waste of time.

Unprofessional at all , I went there to buy braids and the price on the shelve wasnt the price in the system and they took like 30 minutes to attend to me to sort out this issue only 1 supervisor or manager was supposed to correct it,I had to wait for almost 45 minutes for them to sort it out ummmmmm they must improve please

The store is average in service. The fruit and veg sections always have rotten/rotting produce. The shop can really improve and also offer more products on their shelves. I could not get Matabella

This store is infested with mice, was there today and it was the second time I saw a mouse. I was so disgusted, the place sells food for heavens sake. Cant imagine whats its like at night as it was broad daylight. Reported it first time and someone from their head office called promising theyll sort it out. Nothing was done evidently, they obviously dont care as long as people still buy. Anyways I will never set foot in this store again!!

So very impressed with this new shop. Its neat, clean & smells good. It has great specials on the fruit & veg and back to school items etc. Value for money. The staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. I will be back....

Basic grocery store, with almost everything you need for your household. It is convenient, and the staff are friendly. It was a great decision to bring us a U-save in this area, as we are really saving with them. Can you imagine buying a loaf of bread at R5 in this day?

Found food that had expired. Bread that was on the shelve but expired. Lack of management. Id be careful to check expiry dates before buying because clearly management cannot do that for customers

Went to the shop and noticed something really disturbing, as I entered the lady manager on duty was busy shouting at a colleague right in front of the entrance, not even taking notice of the customers coming in on my way out she was busy talking inappropriately about the cash bags with one of the controllers by the till, with no respect at all surely they can create a conducive working invironment for staff by training management to be professional especially infront of the customers, she can deal with issues at the back or use a better way to address issues, please do something productive and motivate the cashiers to smile as a manager not stressing them the whole day, be professional.

I liked this new and exciting shop they opened. .. they really have everything you need to buy..and they prices are brilliant. . Staff is all over the place in the way( maybe we went close to a closing time) but it was difficult to walk around with staff everywhere doing nothing... Anyway it is a nice shop.. will definitely go back. Dont bring your kids u will be bankcropt. .lol

This is an Awesome shop as it is part of Checkers everything is so cheap even cheaper than Checkers so do yourself a favour if you can get there go & buy your groceries there you wont be sorry. Happy Shopping!!!

Slow lines, loud music, very bad bakery. Some nice cashiers but managers are not that great.. And security is the worst.

The cashier was more interested in the convo with her colleague, wasnt listening to anything I said and had an attitudeThe overall experience was terrible.I went to Shoprite Liquors, Spar and PnP after and was greeted politely and even asked how I am.

The supermarket is new but nothing pulling customers from the nearby Spar and Pick N Pay. Id rather go elsewhere for a competent price than settle for Shoprite low prices with an unpleasant atmosphere. Unclean shop and non-smiling staff.

New store a mini ShopRite,small but nice place to shop from consist of Every thing a store has to offer.

This family run shop is the hidden gem in parklands... Fresh fruit and vegetables, big variety of pastas and dry products, olives and chourizo... But the best are all the portuguese products.... Bacalhau, pork belly, blood sausage, frozen fish and seafood in very good quality, big grey Mullet and Hake, all the spices you need to cook portuguese... Everything is nicely presented, the staff is very friendly... It looks like on a market and it feels like on the market... Go there and try them..you wont be disappointed...

1st time shopping there as I was at Buco,walked over big sign that says open during loadshedding.. Anyways get my basket and start shopping good prices,they had ribeye for R99 p kg. Basket was full, went to the front card machines are all offline cash only.. Oh my hat! Had warm food as well,had to put that back and all my other stuff. Was not a good experience!

Well I enjoy shop at Shoprite Parklands they treat u with respect and they always have a smile on their faces on th tills. The manageres was so nice when she helped me with my RCS Card tht didnt work their. They made it possible to phone in to RCS now we can use it their at Shoprite Parklands.

Went to pay 2 municipal accounts when asked to check the transaction found 3 mistakes!!! Not so good for a money market counter??? At the till they battled to print the slip?? No management evident anywhere but lots of staff milling around talking loudly!! Not a good experience at all!!!!
