I liked this store, as the store was generally clean and it looks modern and well layed out. Their cheese, wine and bread sections was well stocked and their veggies and flowers seemed fresh. They also have a Pharmacy in-store as well and a take away coffee kiosk which have very nice coffee. The parking outside is free which is a big plus. The cashier was friendly.

Love the fact that there is never an insanely long line to enter the store.Managed well, do not wait forever even if the store is crowded.located in a good space.Month end or public holidays there seems to be not enough parking spaces.

With the turtles as a backdrop the shop is good.. Great selection, variety and range.. Food section clean from the outside. I cannot comment on the inside of course.. Great food and veg section. Its fresh.. Sanitiser at the entrance administered by security. It can get a bit crowded in peek times in this shop. Lines down the isles and isles down the lines.. Good meat, cheese, and chicken section... Never had a bad buy or smelly meat. Great smelly cheese though.. Keep it fresh and keep it up..

Had to return some meat which was off, the experience was unprofessional they delt with me as if i was at fault. I will no longer be shopping at checkers and i do not recommend shopping here!

Was there this morning. Lady taking panini rolls out with bare hands and telling me in my face she had gloves on. Lucky i couldnt give u zero stars. Keep us all safe. Will never c me again.

Full featured Checkers. Good selection of products and freshly prepared foods. Good store layouts, although the isles are a bit narrower than other big supermarkets. Ample parking.

I love to shop here, the only downside...there are always queues for paying when I go. The staff are friendly though, the store is neat and clean.

Utterly disappointed today. Flies sitting on the chicken on display. So I bought the while chicken in the brown bag. When opening up at home ... the chicken was still raw to the bone and blood still visible . The Savoury bread was sour and smelly. The broccoli salad also unappetizing. Our Sunday lunch from checkers was utterly disgusting today. I didnt have the energy to pack back the foods to return to the store to complain a d request a refund. I chucked it all I the bin. Wont even put out to the bergies they will get sick.

It was good. I like the provision made for the pensioners queue. Makes the experience so much more pleasant for the older folks like myself.

Very crowded and busy shop. Staff are friendly and helpful however, there are always queues, even for the kiosk. Often there are so many people inside that it can become difficult to walk without getting in someones way or accidental physical contact.

This is the one Checkers that I like the most. The shop is clean, everythingvis fresh. Everything under one roof.

The positive.1 The staff at the butchery were very helpful after a client noted that one of the milk sachets were leaking They assisted with getting another trolley and cleaned all my items .2. Thank you for having a pensioners row. .... The negative.....Please ensure that all clients wear masks at all times.

The store is quite spacious with fresh products. I didnt have to wait in long queues, the cashier was friendly and for that I give it a fabulous rating

Checkers only super store with limit small stores

Checkers is situated nearby my house. It have about anything youre looking for except tools. They provide for very good variety of groceries and fresh food 🍲, fruit and vegetables and frozen stuff. Prices is competitive. There is also a instore pharmacy ⚕ which still help although they are closed but people is still there at the back. They have also liquor sales but closed by government. They provide for the kitchen. Big variety but what about tools. Thanks to shop there

Their meat section is pathetic. They have green steaks. They dont refil their stock that is on special. Overal they can do much better.

Fantastic layout and choice of merchandise. Clean and well maintained. Staff could be maybe smile a bit more but it is still a pleasant experience to shop there

Well stocked, price difference at tills via what is on shelves, also when specials are active whatch out, they pack similar items next to it. In your haste you tend to grab the wrong item and when at the till, you have to run back after a mission to find out why the special was not active.

Im very dissatisfied. The price on the rack is not the same at the till. Almost every single time I shop at Checkers Langverwacht there is a difference in the price. Was there yesterday and the same story. I had to wait for the supervisor to come to the till to change the pricing. So frustrating!

Clean and fresh with a good selectionof products. Their meat section is super fresh and prices are reasonable. Staff are willing to help and friendly.

Luv shopping here... they have all my faves, well-priced, wide range of products, aisles and clean.... works well for both end and middle of month shopping ! so far so good.

It wasnt great but ok I guess for a late hot Sunday afternoon.

Advertising on pamphlets as well as in the aisle and when you get to the shelf, no stock. However there were stock of individual item, but was told its not for individual item, it must be a six pack which we dont have stock of. Checkers remove items from your advertising brochures at the door and also in store, its not fair on the loyal consumer. I know theyre will be no response from you, but its fine, I was heard.

The fact that their location is good, IS NOT WORTH IT. Today was the last time.I am very happy driving past Chechers to visit a store with friendly staff that is willing to help. Where customer service is still important.If I look at previous reviews, its not worth it to speak to management. They basically do not care.

Both the deli and bakery staff can see you but wont acknowledge or assist you. Apparently serving customers is not part of their job description?Ive actually left...Ill travel the extra km to Fairbridge, thanks.

Great stop for the things you need but the staff especially at the cold meat section and the bakery need training on what to do when a customer needs service. The butcher has top service always. Management should take care of the store, they are never present and of no assistance. Miss and Mam is absolutely ridiculous. Also your pricing is never correct and staff just lie to get themselves out of it meaning bad management

It is easily accessible and very organised

I purchase banting, organic, freshly squeezed juice and raw goods. Glad that Checkers Langverwacht stocks these but they are sometimes out of stock. Checkers please continue to stock organic bananas, raw nuts and seeds, organic chicken and eggs, banting bread, banting hot chocolate and brownies, banting biscuits, freshly squeezed orange juice, organic virgin coconut oil.

Checkers never fails when it opens stores, great cheese, wine, dairy, bread sections. However the staff here makes the experience not to be pleasant. The polony section also beats attention, not bad but can be much better. Leave less product, or samples outside and serve customers the fresh product, give the customer the choice. At most a great venue for most needs.

Unfortunately did not have all the spices we wanted, simple things like chilly flakes and turmeric. Had to go to other stores to fill what they did not have

Wish I had the ability to give this 0 stars. This is my closest supermarket but I detest going here. It has a great variety of products but horrible, horrible customer relations. Staff, especially cashiers, are exceptionally rude, careless and slow. Even when you greet them politely they ignore you. They cant be bothered really. Badly trained. Which begs the question, why arent the managers doing anything about this? Maybe they couldnt care less either... Checkers Head Office, do you care? Probably not.
