Best service always :)did a charity event where we painted a children’s home and Buco was amazingly kind enough to give us the paint at a great low price !!

The only convenience so far for me is ample parking for customers and better prices here and there on some items, other than that you on your own except for one lady who is willing to help if she is in the mood, the young cashier with the scarf, whom I had to reprimand twice for being on her cellphone. I informed the manager, doubt they ever did anything about it.

I get really good service from them everytime Ive been there. Definitely my go to when I need a hardware. Conveniently situated and nice parking.Only challenge is that they might not have something Im looking for, but will Buco will be my first stop.

Was there on Wednesday and once again when you need assistance theres nobody to help you. And when you finally find someone to help you, they do so reluctantly. Almost as youre bothering them. Definitely wont come here again. The 2 stars is generous because I found what I was looking for...ON MY OWN! The staff I asked for were useless. I would rather go to Builders Warehouse even though its further away.

Its as busy Shop but in a good way. The staff are experienced and friendly. Charisma and the floor team rock the store and give great service. Its loud. Its busy. Its a great place to shop. Pretty well stocked for whatever your building needs are. Give them a go. Its worth it.

Great store for all your hardware needs. They have pretty much everything you need. My problem with them is that the staff dont always look up for the job. Its hard to get any kind of service unless you ask for it yourself. On a few occasions Ive gone there and the staff are having a conversation with each other. Also my experiences with the cashiers havent been good. They could be alot more friendly and less morbid. Coming into a hardware store can be intimidating for some people and its important that the staff realise that. They need to be on hand and ask customers if they need help. Ive been buying there for ages as its close and convenient, but truth be told if there were another realiable hardware store close by Id orobably go there.

They have great staff and all of your maintenance needs, from woods, paint, nails, safety gear and more. You can start an account there which is super helpful and they have a lovely cafe inside that sells delicious meals with coffee.

As a customer who interacted with a couple of staff members on the day. I find the staff highly unprofessional and the foul language they speak to each other which they find amusing I did not. I also remember as I spoke to a lady as we spoke she used the F word and I thought to myself she speaks as if we friends forgetting Im a client. So I highly suggest that staff get trained on how they handle and speak to clients in a professional way.

Nice large store, helpful staff. Main road signage would help as I have frequently missed the turn. Wonky trolleys need attention.

This is the best hardware i have seen service they work hard to make everyone smile . I have been Builders Ware house North gate mall Brooklyn there are lazy and they are not organized I regretted not visiting Brickfields Buco yesterday it was horrible

My husband tried to buy 4 sets of draw railsEach set consists of 2 rails and is wrapped together.the cashier however insisted that she should double the price as there is 2 rails in the wrapper, my husband tried to explain that it is a pair,to no avail!!! Needless to say ,he left without the rails and buco missed a sale

Was going to give this store 2 stars but changed it to 3 because of the very helpful African man who works at the counter between the bathroom fittings and the hammers. Super service from him. But must say, the store is a bit dismally stocked compared to builders warehouse. But you can get the basics here.

General builders supply outlet with a good range of mainly timber products. Also good range of power tools and general hardware. Parking handily on premises close to showrooms. They will deliver items too large for your vehicle.

All in one building supplies. Very helpful friendly staff. If you are a home DIYer, heres a helpful hint: take photos of what ever you are repairing so that the staff can clearly see what you need. I did this with my water pipes and they were able to give me the correct fittings immediately.

Steped out of the shop for 20 Min to go to the art store next door, when I came back to buy turpentine they had clamped my wheel. Had to stand in a long line to get to the only teller to pay R250 to free my car. Like they have enough staff to stalk you on CCTV to see if they can nab you with parking but only have one teller. She was very nice but still didnt stop the whole thing from ruining my birthday. What a horrible place. Went to go by my hardware stuff at builders instead and will continue to do so.

After being to Plumblink, Bright Boston and Plattekloof and builders Cape Gate... Buco was the only one that actually helped me in getting the right part for extending an basin outlet and adapting for an additional washing machine.All other stores actually had the correct stock, they just didnt explain or understood what needs to be done after showing them the photos.The guy at Buco immediately gave me the parts and explained how they fit together and the adapter to extend from existing setup...

Not one of the staff truly knows where anything is in the store.I have been here more than once and left very frustrated with the lack of service. Generally a real effort to find items, their prices and pay for them.

Very good. The guys inside is Briliant but let down by the yard where there def need stronger aupervision.

Amazing service from the team in the trade department who gave me great suggestions and didnt encourage me to over spend just for the sake of it which is appreciated. My new clothing rail is now hanging in my cupboard all thanks to this great team and their advice.

Arguably the most useless hardware store I have encountered. Limited stock. Unhelpful staff. And almost invariably the barcode on at least one of the items one wishes to purchase does not scan at the till. Absurd. Not sure how this place is being reviewed positively - I work nearby and so am unfortunately obligated to use this place from time to time. Have never had a good experience here.

I felt invisible in the shop. Assistance seems like it’s too much effort or not part of the service for public walk ins. Lazy atmosphere. Didn’t feel welcome. Maybe everyone was on low energy since it was almost 14:00 on a Friday. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Floor Staff not helpful and also did not know where products where. Cashiers both helping one customer and also ignored me. As I was leaving no one to do security check the lady then shouted from meters away for me to stop. All in all rude lazy staff.

This place sucks... Never any pricing on the shelves and the staff are lazy and totally unfriendly and often just down right rude. I have often gone back there ONLY because all the other hardwares in town also couldnt help me. Very rarely though.The painting department is a joke... The guy(s) have no clue.I really dont suggest anyone supports this store.
