Staff is friendly and the service is good. What I really like is that they warm your plate up so your food doesnt get cold.

Loved their avo,bacon and cheese burger. A very cozy and relaxed restaurant while taking in the beautiful burgundy estate.

I quite like Spur but yesterday I ordered a burger with chips and onion rings and what I got was crumbs of onion rings.I normally use the Spur at Platterkloof Village so Im a bit disappointed I did use that Spur this time around even though the one in Burgundy Square is much closer.The burger was okay but all around quite disappointing.-------POST INITIAL REVIEWAdded one more star for them actually trying to understand what happened and explaining how it could have happened.

My steak was delicious just how I ordered. Friendly atmosphere.

100% best spur food we have had. Many managers and are all hands on. Kids area is small but its always great to be able to eat in peace while the kids are playing safely.

Have been going there as it is our closest Spur and the service we received from Cloe was excellent. The food is excellent and all our needs were catered to. The manager was friendly as well and checked on us as well. It was a good week night experience.

Never an off day. Managers, Supervisors as well as waiters, waitresses and all other staff alway so friendly and helpful.Always a good time to be had at Saratoga Spur with the best food ever. Very disappointed in meal ordered. When restaurant was contacted I was told to contact Mr Delivery ( as if Mr Delivery makes the food). Not worth what you pay. Buy a packet of Doritis and melt cheese over it save your money. Dont even deserve one star.

Had cheese griller breakfast. Scrambled eggs were light and delicious. Only complaint was that the cheese griller was totally tasteless. Next time Ill have the porkie sossidges as they are tasty!

Service is shocking, quality of food for the price is not worth it.

Food was terrible and tasted bad. Bacon tasted like it was reheated and both cheese grillers looked as if it was heated in a microwave and left in too long. My waitreess was no where to be found after i received my food. I did not have the option to order a second coffee. All in all a terrible experience. I will not return to Saratoga Spur again.

I cant choose half a star or less...absolutely shocking service. We waited almost 30min for drinks and even longer for food. We were about 20 people and had to threaten to leave and then our food was rushed.. other people arrived 20min after us and got their food 15min before us. I use to frequent Saratoga Parow...you dont do the name justice.I state this loud and clear...you will not be receiving my support nor recommendation anytime soon nor again.(Original post was about 19.00 - had to edit the post as things got worse....at 20.00 they were still trying to get our dessert order figured out. Took 3 people to write it down and its still a problem. Hopefully dessert is on the house as promised after such shocking service. We were at the Spur in excess of 2 hours..most if the time waiting for drinks or food....shocking Spur...shocking)

Thanks for the response! I did not have a pleasant first experience. The sugar free fountain was broken at the time of the visit which forced me to purchase a can instead of which i had to purche multiple ones. The waiter was also not very welcoming and we had to call other waiters each time we wanted to place an order to call our waiter and got our orders incorrect or we were forced to asked where our food was which was odd because the spur was very quiet with only 2 or 3 tables of people seated.

Very nice. Friendly service, quick with getting drinks and taking food order. Food prep took a while, but oh my word, the food was so good and worth the wait. We will see you soon!!!

Food is good but salt is overwelming on chips and onion Rings. Spoils the whole meal.

Best Spur by far! I pass many Spurs closer to my house to eat at Saratoga Spur because of the excellent food & amazing service. The management at this particular Spur is the best Ive ever experienced. I was very HAPPY to be there 😉

Being to many a Spur and thus so far this is the worst breakfast I had. The bacon was so tough or the knifes where blunt ask for raw tomato u get fried tomato. U ask for hot milk u get cold milk. Even the people on the opposite side of me was unhappy. I will try the coffee shop where u get apparently a good breakfast as per friends suggestion. Unhappy Jonathan and wife.

Clean, new and friendly. I think this is one of the smaller Spur restaurants I have seen, but really good. Close to home and was not busy when we were there. I will go back again.

Easy access in the community and good breakfast.

Spur specializes in two veggies, spinach and butternut, but they still fail to cook it perfect. The spinach was watery & the butternut dry.
