Takes half a day to get a quote. Waiting on a call center. Prices are very high in comparison to independent companies that arent a chain. So it seems that you are not getting the benefits of a better buying power from this supplier. Call center staff dont seem to know their product well and needs lots of information from you but give very little information in response. I was called 2 days later asking if they should order my window for me. In this time I had a new one installed at a 3rd of the price. They had also sent me an sms 4 days later offering me 0.9% discount to sweeten the deal. Not worth it if paying privately.

Work quality is good. Their admin needs improvement though. Took a days leave to get two tasks done, now I need to take another days leave to get the second task done. This booking was done 2 weeks before the time.

Such disappointment, they could not fit my home mirror because the mirror wont fit in the lift, which is a blatant lie and other excuses i could not understand. oow.. and after a week of consistently calling to see if anyone was coming to measure the mirror. no communication at all.

Super efficient

Called for a quotation which wasn’t sent. Emailed the next day with an initial response in less than 1 hour. I followed up 2 hours later and received the first apology an additional two hours later after resorting to fb messenger chatbot, only to be asked about information previously provided. My final request for quotation at 14:30pm was answered with another apology and mentioned quotations the next morning, except that no quotations were attached to the email. By then I already paid for a solution with another service provider. Lastly, thanks for the R50 off sms I received the next day which I never subscribed to, considering we’re less than two weeks away from the deadline for POPIA compliance.

Honestly the staff of this establishment all deserve a fantastic bonus. Their service was seamless. My Mini’s window was smashed in and they were able to replace it faster than Sovereign BMW. The whole repair took less than hour and the window was very professionally done.

I took one of my customers here who had just purchased a car, he needed a safety inspection done to fulfill an insurance companys requirement for insuring his new purchase, we arrived here in the morning at around 11am.The facility is neat and clean well lit and sufficiently sign posted outside as to easily locate it on Plumteads main road. One of the friendly staff assisted my client and immediately offered us a cup of coffee.Maybe it was due to them not being particularly busy, but they came accross as very efficient, patient and friendly.Within a few minutes the required forms were completed efficiently and the inspection carried out expertly as they use the latest technology to complete these tasks.I highly recommend PG Glass Plumstead as my experience here was a very pleasant one .

Do not. I repeat, do not call them. Asking to speak to someone at their branch is impossible. The call Centre is unable to do this. The 3rd agent I spoke to confirmed this.As an advisory and based on other reviewers with a similar issue. If a company doesnt care to fix a known issue and doesnt offer an alternative to the issue like a callback.... Imagine the quality of their work.Will be using another company. Poor poor customer service.

I seem to be going to PG Glass Plumstead at least once a year when I change my insurance. I go for insurance inspections and the staff are always friendly and fast.

Bloody useless call centre. Phone the branch and get a national call centre that cant put you through to the branch. Some idiot thought he was clever. Why dont you rather put a message on with your competitors phone numbers. Tossers!

Had to pop in for the Insurance check validation which I have had to do twice in the past 2 months. Even with limited staff and a number of customers waiting the team processes items quickly and efficiently.

Their switchboard is hopeless. Wouldnt you think that after all the review complaints about their phone they would have got it right. This is not brain surgery guys!!!!

After calling for a glass replacement on Monday 24 June 2019 - it is a bathroom glass that was blown out in the storm last weekend, if have called and followed up and i am still sitting without a window replacement.at this stage no stars are awarded at all however i cannot post without at least one

Very poor attitude. Staff are unhelpful and behave as though they are doing you a huge favour by doing their job. Not recommended at all. Went to the competition down the road and had a far superior experience. Reported this to our insurance company and car dealership as well.

Went to PG Auto glass to get a windscreen claim attended to. All I can say is Im glad I checked my car before I left because the worker left the water pipes for the windscreen wipers unattached just dangling in my engine bay. Who knows what damage it could have caused if water got in there!When I told the manager about this, the guy that worked on my car stank of alcohol and made no sense whatsoever when I tried explaining to him what was wrong, probably hungover from a night of drinking.Needless to say a few months later the window seal that was replaced has come loose....So disappointed. Definitely changed my view of PG Autoglass. Never again.

I think this is the worst PG glass shop I have been. Very bad service.

Terrible service, numerous requests for a Tax invoice, still waiting.I had my windows fitted with smash and grab, chose PG glass and payed a premium expecting a good job from a reputable company. My windows were left filthy dirty, scratches in the smash and grab film, now on my windows, door panels full of dirty streaks from water used on the windows during installation.Next time ill rather take my chances with some china-town installer.
