I used them in December and because they were the only ones open on a Sunday.Story is too long to post but they basically made me drive from CT to JHB without a passenger window.Look elsewhere for your requirements. Only reason they dont get 1 star is because I got back to Joburg and the CT branch had liased with them to come sort out the issue that was meant to be sorted in CT.

Good and honest business people. I brought my car for a very small windscreen crack and the gentleman said its just wear and tear. I need not to worry it will not expand the crack. And it never expanded. I liked their honest as opposed to running after money repairing things that dont need repairs.

Broke into a friends car on the pavement outside my house in the city, the guys at Glasfit replaced the window the next morning at 10 am for a very reasonable price and even vacuumed the glass in the car. Great service, reasonable rates and friendly staff!

Disappointing experience... 1slty receptionist gave me the incorrect street address!!! It’s NOT 9 Long Street (postal address) but Riebeek street around the corner so I wasted time looking for the entrance. Am assuming the job was done OK except the technician left masking tape on the windscreen & car’s roof & asked me to remove it in an hour – when I did it left a whole lot of gunk on the paint work & glass. Technician also didn’t bother to replace my parking disc, only the registration disk. He left a bit of a mess on the dash board. WAKE UP Glasfit!!!

Took my car in to have the Windshield replaced on 27 July 2018 @ 08h30. Collected it again at 12h45. Everything seemed to be in order. Washed my car on 28 July 2018 and saw a scratch (more like scrape) that went through to the body. Only available to query the scratch on 30 July as they are closed on Sundays and I was only available after their closing on Mon 29 July. The scratched were note on the incorrect side of the vehicle and the new scratch I found was marked with an X in a square, whereas the others were all marked with a tick. Clearly done after the fact. They have the nerve to tell me the scratch was already there. I will never use their service again. I recommend people read the reviews.

I have never had to work so hard to get people to just do their jobs. Calls were never returned, no one seemed to be keeping track of orders of jobs. Over a week later and still no progress.

Never again! I took my car in for windscreen replacement. They did a check before the time to see if there is any scratches to the vehicle. They made me sign at the bottom...but also made me sign where I am suppose to sign after the job was done. A week afterwards I washed my car and noticed a fresh scratch on the roof about 10cm away from the windscreen. The plastic panel inside was also loose. The very unhelpful gentlemen at Glassfit was not interested in my story. He told me that they dont even work in that area when they replace the windscreen. Funny...because the panel inside is right against the windscreen. I would never go back to Glassfit in Bree str Cape Town again.Double check before you sign, they edit the documents afterwards.

Glasfit did a quote for building glass in our apartment, which was submitted and approved by the insurer. When it came to actually doing the job, they suddenly refused - saying that it was too dangerous - despite being on site and having seen the location when quoting. The entire process now has to be restarted. Glasfit have caused us enormous inconvenience due to their lack of customer care and internal organisation.
