Simply Asia in Cavendish is under new ownership and it shows. This is the place to go if youre having a noise overload. The staff are fantastic, the food is amazing and my daughter and I left, ready to face the madness that is Cavendish on a Saturday. A huge thank you to Lynn and her family, who also own the Simply Asia in Kenilworth.

Sale staff need to be adequately trained in the way they interact with customers they also need to be taught how the extras work. I order the 514 but always ask for an extra portion of noodles, the last time I was there the sales operator simply said no, it was not possible, which was frustration because I knew that it was possible!The food is, however, still definitely worth the agony of having to interact with the staff

I ordered the 101 Vegetable Spring Rolls as well as another Vegetarian dish on Ubereats. After eating the first spring roll I realised that it tasted a bit odd so I broke open a second spring roll only to find that it looked like there was meat inside. I then checked the box which read 107 - these are the CHICKEN spring rolls on the menu. I am absolutely mortified as it is my first time eating meat! Definitely not a great mistake to make Simply Asia. I am so disappointed.

Deliciousness perfected, quick, simple and tasty. Reasonably priced, especially for the great quality, highly recommended if youre looking for a nice fast food asian experience!

The food, staff and atmosphere is excellent. Its nice that they have seating within the restaurant which gives a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of the mall. Tasty and healthy food. Definitely a go to when at Cavendish.

When you order the 107 Chicken Spring Rolls for R58, dont expect 107 spring rolls to arrive. Smh

New in Southern Suburbs and still unpacking and unsettled so thought wed order from Mr. Delivery. We ordered honey chicken and garlic rice from Simply Asia Cavendish.Chicken arrived without honey sauce and egg fried rice. I was so looking forward to a good meal only to have dry chicken and egg fried rice when I dont eat egg. Really disappointing 1st experience. Dont you check that you have the full order, especially at this time when restaurants arent that busy???

First, I drove all the way home only to open the packet and realise that they gave me someone elses order. Then when I finally got the food, I realised, theres no consistency between these outlets. I ordered the 505 with beef and my wife ordered the 504 with chicken. I had a third less food than my wife. There were VERY few vegetables in my box. And the taste was just...not the same as I was used to. Too salty.

Highly recommended. On a Wednesday night, at 9pm, Delivery is often average...not the case here. I ordered Spinach and Basil Bites, Vegetable Soup, Basil and Chili Curry (This dish with beef, used to be my favorite, so I was worried about ordering it with Tofu - I have been veg for only a short time and have been so disappointed with veg/vegan delivery... until now)...Everything was amazing. It was that good, I called and complimented the Manager, Simon, who was polite, humble and I feel that if I did have a problem, he would be approachable. Thank you.

Consistently tasty food, always freshly prepared. Fast service is appreciated. Some new additions to the menu keep it current, although I often find myself sticking to old favorites!

This would be the branch that I find myself returning to time and time again. The fact that I can walk in have my usual order on the table in a couple of minutes is a absolute wonder. Love the service, keep up the amazing job team.

Always a good experience. Food is tasty and they get the taste balance right. I prefer to do take aways from Simply Asia. The portions are good for sharing. It can be a bit on the salty side so if you like it less salty ask them to make it with less salt.

One of the few Simply Asia stores that has its own seating area, rather than just supplying food to a food court. They have some good vegetarian options, and the corn cake starters (no 103 on the menu) is super tasty. The venue is accessible, and the restaurant is open fairly late.

Simply Asia has long been a favourite of ours, but we love them even more since they released their new menu. There are plenty of vegan options and theyre all clearly marked. So delicious.

Always hot and takeaways say hot and good to eat until arriving home.On the pricier side for takeaways but worth it as the quality and taste is good.Staff have been a bit uninterested when taking orders and not the friendliest out there. (Wait staff for sit down seem very pleasant)Get told 15 minutes for takeaway and 30 minutes later the food still hasnt come out. It is a minor issue and doesnt always happen, but it can. Order here first if ordering other takeaway options as well at the Cavendish food court

Had the worse experience at Simply Asia Cavendish. I wouldnt recommend anyone there. Id much rather drive to Canal Walk once a week if need be. Horrible tasting food. Almost everything is overcooked and they refuse to help you to fix it.

The atmosphere is awesome considering the location... Good food.

Useless service. Specifically asked for no cashews as I have a severe allergy. I was in a rush and so I was unable to check. When I sat down half an hour later to eat my lunch it looked as though there were no nuts but too mouthfuls in I bit down on something hard. It was a cashew. Luckily my allergy isnt very severe but my mouth did swell for 4 hours after.

I ordered food from here using Mr Delivery and the food was awful. The steamed bun was rock hard, and my noodle dish had barely any meat in it and the noodles tasted stale.

Terrible branch of Simply Asia. Ordered Massaman curry. I was lucky if there were 5 tiny pieces of chicken. Really pathetic. Will not be going back there.

I was very disappointed because i ordered thai green curry and requested it to be hot. I complained and even after sending it back, they brought it back cold and not tasting hot at all! The service was slow even though they werent too busy. I will not be coming to this simply asia again!

Simply Asia Thai restaurant in the food court upstairs at Cavendish Square is part of a chain of restaurants and is a sit-down venue. You can often view the Thai chefs cooking and preparing your food from the restaurant and Thai food is particularly healthy for you with lots of vegetables and/ or meat
