Friendly staff. Waiter needs a bit more training in customer care and remembering to bring what was ordered as this drops the ball for the rest of the team who are on point. My daughter felt especially special as the lady who was making our sushi called her by her name and gave her the particular plate she ordered. She overheard our orders as we gave them to the waiter and prepared ans served them to the correct person when ready. Also very friendly - greeted us before we saw her, as we walked in and waited for the waiter. We had the buffet sushi. Thoroughly enjoyed all of the plates we had and will definitely go back to this particular branch again. Missed out on taking pics of our own sushi except that last piece. Will ha e to remember the next time! Parking is off street, there is a hand sanitizer on entrance. Mask required to enter the store. All staff wore masks at all times.

I really enjoyed the sushi....super yummy. Staff was friendly and prices were fair.Unfortunately, I ordered seafood fried noodles. I couldn’t eat much as they were slimy. I feared they were off.Other that that....it’s a nice little joint.

This is my favorite place for sushi. Such a reasonably priced buffet and the best tempura prawns ever. I recommend Best of Asia to everyone. Friendly staff. If youre looking for good authentic sushi I would highly recommend them.

Hardly the best of asia.The soup was watery with no solid ingredients. I called them to rectify. The owner could hardly speak english and dismissed the issue. I then got ill from the soup which seemed to have an off smell. Will never order from them again and highly advise you not to.

My new choice for affordable Chinese food in the area, after my old choice got sloppy and dropped their standards. Good portion, reasonable prices, clean and well run.

Poor quality. small portions. there are much better options available across the city.The sushi doesnt taste great or very fresh. Bad presentation as well.The main dish portions are quite small and are not enjoyable at all - minimal flavour (you can basically just taste green peppers). Would not recommend.

Worst staff ever. We usually go to BOA in Green Point, but thought we should give this one in Kloof a go since we were in the CBD last night. The shop was empty, the staff were watching TV and not paying attention to us. We had to order with the sushi chefs directly because our waiter and his boss were too busy watching a National Geographic documentary on the TV. What really upset us was that at 8pm the Chefs suddenly started packing away all the sushi even though we were seated at the belt, finishing our Tea.

The service was very bad. The waitresses dont pay attention to the customer. Our waitress only came to our table when we called her to ask when were getting our orders and shed say we havent ordered yet. But she came to our table with a pen and paper looking like she was writing our orders down.When my sister ordered a lemongrass margarita, the waitress said I dont know how to make it. My sister and I just looked at each other like okay, so what are we supposed to do about that cause you work here. After she placed our Chow Mein order, we waited a good 20-30 minutes for the order to arrive. While we waited we were swatting flies everywhere. They just kept coming. It was disgusting cause it is supposed to be a clean seating area for customers but theres flies all over. I thought if there are so many flies in the seating area, how bad must the kitchen be?! We decided to cancel our orders and went to the pizza hut across the road which had better service, no flies but the pizza was dry.

Could easily be missed in passing, huddled between McDs, Pizza Hut and Shisha Lounge...an Asian gem in the heart of the CBD. The owners are hands on to greet you as the entrancing asian R&B plays in the background, ensuring the servers are equally polite, friendly and efficient. Besides the warm atmosphere, BoAs Sushi is always a refreshing treat - and for a fraction of the price than most asian chain eateries! Highly recommended!

I guess you get what you pay for. Got a take away from dashers and found a pubic hair in my meal. My Greek salad was gross and was drenched in salad dressing. It was just a very unpleasant experience and a waste of money. Don’t waste your time.

This is usually my favorite sushi spot- been coming here for years and love the staff and the friendly service but last night, I went to the bathroom, sat on the toilet and the toilet seat was broken in half and pinched my butt cheek and I was left bleeding, feeling violated and needing a tetnis injection... really not impressed. All I wanted was sushi and a romantic date with my boyfriend... this really is the truth and I need some kind of compensation

We got the fried rice and chow mein and it honestly was one of the worst things I’ve ever been served rice was mush and noodles were tasteless and oily. If you go maybe stick to the sushi but we didn’t hang around to try it.

The food was authentic and in fact its better than a lot of the restaurants back in New York..the service was great..

Very racist. All i wanted was some chow mein but got served racism instead because im not white. Its cool though. Utterly disgusted by the owners behaviour. Whats worse is that he isnt even a citizen of this country. People like this should be deported back to whichever rock they ran away from.

The Chinese food is horrible. The Chow Mein was bland and we had to search for the vegetables. The vegetables were either overcooked or old and not crispy and fresh as expected. The noodles wete tasteless. The sweet and sour pork was inedible..The meat was tough and merely reheated. The sauce came from a bottle. Steer clear or perhaps order the sushi if you want to gamble.

Not the top Sushi spot in town but this is the type of place you will call your local. Very affordable and welcoming. Mei, the unassuming and ever smiling Queen of Asia, will go out of her way at every chance to keep you happy. A little secret, if you add a xie xie ni every now and then you might be surprised with an authentic treat or sweet as Mei passionately tries to share her cultures food with everyone.

Ordered all you can eat and 2for1. All you can eat took forever to make, we were all sitting there hungry and bored while they slowly bring it in bit for bit after waiting for 40mins for the first plate. The ladies who ordered 2for1 didnt get their correct orders and one didnt even get her fourth plate! For our all you can eat, they went and brought all kinds of random dishes to our table that non of us ordered. We didnt eat the ones they didnt bring and the pathetic owner, who understands ZERO about customer service, thinks its fine to charge people extra for things they didnt even order seriously fk this place, their useless service, totally average sushi and horrible attitude!!! Go elsewhere, dont support or waste your time here with these money hungry people who offer NOTHING in return

Was here twice for dinner. The first time the pasta didnt taste that good and it took a long time to eat. However, the conditions were super nice and the owners were very warm.The second time we ate sushi: unbeatable price and super tasty! :)
