Absolute favorite place for sushi 🍣 and some wine 🍷. Service is incredible. The owner was aware that a friend and I were quite threatened by some of the homeless people and numerously tried to intervene which was comforting. The easthetic feels so genuine that it felt like an out of South African experience. The food is really good highly recommend their dumplings which is served as a complimentary side of any platter. There are also specials during the week which you can look out for.

Love Linko’s. Their dumplings are definitely worth it and reasonably priced. They have weekday specials. We have made this place our quiet date night spot on Wed and Thu and go here solely for they chinese meals, fried rice and dumpling boxes. The sushi is fresh, but the preparation and technique something to be improved as the sushi is a bit bulky.

A small restaurant on lower main road, we had good service and sushi. They sometimes have specials like platters etc. Parking as always on the lower main road is a hassle and I recommend you uber or otherwise you will need to park on one of the side streets.

A great spot for lunch, prices are decent and the food is AMAZING!!! Also they are generous when it comes to their portion sizes! I would highly recommend trying out their dumplings and egg fried rice 👌🏼

Very affordable and delicious Asian cuisine. Miso soup, dim sum and beef flank pot highly recommended. Definitely going back soon. Note to owner: stock up on drinks no still water was a bit disappointing when there was a convenience shop next door and around the corner.

I changed my five star to a one start. I bought R400 worth sushi today and had a problem with one platter . The only person who was kind was the one who asked me images the assisting manager. The others guy called, he never resolved the issue with my sushi and told me to throw the volcano platter in the bin after I asked him if the driver could collect it and do a replacement for a better quality one . He asked to follow up the next day even though I ordered the food for my guest..I will not be recommending this place to my friends and family and surely will not order from Theis place for gatherings. You may keep the call and do not contact me . We try to support local however they cannot even have common decency and customer service.

My daughter introduced me to Linko Restaurant a few weeks ago. Last night we visited the restaurant again to collect take-aways. What impressed me firstly was the friendliness of the owner and the staff. The food Id delicious, great value for money and worth the drive. I was a great fan of a different Asian food brand, but Linko has won me over. I simply love the food.

Most terrible Chinese food I’ve had for a long time. Vegetarian spring roll only had insipid cabbage. There was hardly any prawn in the prawn spring roll. As for the crispy duck, the pancakes were thick small and sticky, the sauce taste-free, the spring onion had hardly any more taste than the cucumber and the duck was mediocre. To be avoided!!!

Food tastes great!!! Only problem is that I didnt receive my chopsticks on my online order. That took away from the whole Chinese food experience that I wanted, but other than that the food is tastes great. Highly recommended.

I love Chinese dumplings and Linko has a wide variety. I completely overate! Good veggie options too. I went with a group of friends and we had a great time. When the bill came, we were pleasantly surprised too. I can highly recommend Linko.

So one of my friends greatly recommended me to try out the dimsum and soup dumplings at Linko Restaurant. Being a Chinese, I’m more skeptical about the Chinese food being authentic. However, this restaurant did not disappoint me at all. Especially the fried dumplings and spring onion pancakes (congyou bing) so impressive! Also the service was super.! We got good recommendations of what to have by the shop owner. We chilled there for more than two hours and just having jasmine tea eventually but did not get chased away. Lol sorry about the photo, we got too excited and we just digged in..

I think this place is quite pumped by Tiktok users. I’m not really sure if the actual restaurant is really busy but ordering from Uber eats is an absolute nightmare.Tried to order twice, once they cancelled it after 30 minutes and the second time it took over 1.5 hours to prepare then they cancelled it.So, try go to their restaurant and don’t order online.

By far my favourite restaurant in Cape Town! Great food and great portion sizes! The barbeque pork buns are highly recommended!

Post Covid Asian restaurants need a shake up. Dahlia on Regent for example is fine but utterly soulless. I had high hopes for Linko but they werent met. Having enjoyed Fude Forever and Monks impeccable takeout meals the dumplings we had tonight werent great. Not awful just not memorable. The wine list was dumbed down and not all beers were in stock. Not a good sign for a restaurant over a long weekend. They seem to do a roaring takeout trade so maybe thats where they need to focus

Best Chinese Ive had in Cape Town

Don’t know what other people are talking about but I tried their pork fried rice and pork stir fry with chowmein and it was terrible. Reviews are not regulated by the government so most likely these reviews are from the business.

I genuinely adore Linkos so much. Their soft BBQ pork bun is to die for, their sushi is mind blowing and their weekly deals and so amazing! I want to keep going back so I can try everything! The restraunt itself is so nice to sit in and the food presentation is gorgeous. I suggest linkos to most people I meet and I cant wait to eat there again soon!

I never post reviews but Ill make an exception to warn people. Ordered via Uber Eats on Monday evening and got an extremely bad case of food poisoning, enough to consider going to hospital.I started having symptoms 2 hours after eating the food that just got worse the next day. Its Wednesday now and Im still not recovered enough to eat normal food.Based on other reviews this is not an isolated incident, especially for take-away orders.Be aware the hygiene and freshness standards are not up to scratch!As for the food: the kung pao chicken was far too salty - the amount of soy sauce made it inedible even after mixing it with rice, and Im pretty sure the soy sauce I was given was recycled from someones table as it was barely half and completely spilled around the container, and had bits of food in it (I did not use it).If I could give 0 stars I would. If anyone knows of a food inspector hotline where I can report them, please comment.

Been visiting Linkos for about 6 years now and its been amazing watching this restaurant grow. The upgraded packaging, the improved recipes, Mr Linko takes the cake. We are really impressed about everything tonight, being deep fried pork and crispy chicken. Thank you, Mr Linko!

The vibe is relaxing and the music adds to a comforting feel. The food was relatively good, I had the veg soup which was spicy enough but some of the veg was undercooked. The spring rolls were not too oily which is a plus. And the chocolate spring rolls are amazing!! Fairly good service, however miscommunication occurred on my visit. I have heard of some horror stories but my visit was fairly good.

This owner is very very rude. Has no respect for you if you only eat specials. No waiter to serve you properly at the table. Disrespectful, food is great attitude is bad...Take it from me will never ever go back. Higher up lower main there are better Chinese restaurants. I hate reviewing companies badly, but bad service must be addressed.

Absolutely love the food at Linko and was thrilled that they are delivering privately and through Mr D and Uber Eats during lockdown. The manager who took my order over WhatsApp was helpful and professional, and the food was still piping hot and delicious when it arrived. Would order again and recommend to anyone wanting a night off from cooking!

They have a special on on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Ladys night all-you-can-eat sushi. As a non-lady who goes with friends to that, I can say their other dishes are also amazing.

My girlfriend and I were food poisoned right after having lunch here. Raw fish should be handled carefully. I got mild symptoms, but my girlfriend threw up all night and she is still sick.Other than that, great friendly service, great price and it tastes great. We have been here multiple times and didn’t have issues. Just yesterday’s fish wasn’t a good one...Enjoy

Your sushi is great

The Pork and Shrimp Fried Rice is a revelation and a rare treat for a chinese restaurant in Cape Town. The Dumping soup is packed with Umami and the Pork Dumping is simply delicious. The best kind of comfort food.

Our favourite sushi spot in Observatory. Although Observatory is not everyones cup of tea, you can find some real gems here in terms of food. For us, it is Linko for sushi. The options are extensive, and the price is really good for sushi, Chinese soups and similar.

My favourite sushi venue in CT. Not only is it in vibey Lower Main Rd OBS, but has a fantastic range of sushi and Chinese (and brillaint steamed dumplings) at the best prices. Some brillaint weekly specials too...
