Food is delightful and reasonably priced. Its tasty and well spiced. Service is quick. Tables are comfortably large and atmosphere is pleasant, with nice background music that suits the vibe. Really worth the stop!

The coffee milkshake is the best I have had so far. Forgot to ask if they make peanut butter milkshake though. The chicken cheese burger really is a taste bud experience and the chips was so fresh, crispy on the outside ,fluffy on the inside. The owner and the lovely lady working there are so friendly. Will definitely support them again

We ordered a take away platter for two, it was awesome, so tasty and freshly made and a big variety of snacks, still warm and ready to eat, quick service and delivery. We recommend a sit down and take away any day. Wonderful people thanks so amazing xx

What a nice place hidden away on the banking side of Southern Centre. Great menu with a very decent range of food and drink options, coffee compares to the big brand coffee shops, down to eart friendly staff, almost like being in your moms kitchen with a touch off a formal dining experience. The Latte is a winner.

What an amazing place. We were exhausted having driven from Knysna to Bloem and just wanted a quick take away. Ended up having the most delicious sit down meal and the staff were superb. Thank you.

Not one of the staff followed Covid protocols. No masks, no sanitiser and no social distancing. When I told the staff they should be wearing their masks I was dismissed with a dirty look and a shrug of the shoulders. Needless to say, we walked out.Firstly, the law requires masks to be worn in retail establishment. Secondly, I can provide photographic evidence that there were other patrons in the establishment. Rather than attack the customer, address the shortcomings in yourprotocols.

Terrible experience. We went to the Corner Café for a brunch, unfortunately our decision was something I regret. First off, the café does not follow any of the Covid-19 government protocols. No one of the staff members was wearing masks, no screening at the entrance and no social distancing from the server to the costumer/Guest. Firstly this is against the law and secondly, it is very irresponsible by the café, because there is many older guests/costumers that is supporting the café. So they put their guests/costumers at risk.Secondly, it took them 25 minutes to prepare 2 hot drinks. When we asked the server why it is taking so long, she apologized and said that it was busy. 8 Tables, I wont call that busy. Our food came at the same time as the drinks, unfortunately we found hair twice in my dates food, this is something that is very concerning and very unacceptable. The server took the plate away and offered to replace the food, unfortunately we were not interested to stay.The only reason why I did not gave this café a 1 star is because they tried to correct the issues by waving the bill. But that does not make the experience any better.

Was in Bloemfontein this weekend. I visited Southern Corner Cafe in Fichardpark this weekend.I had the best coffee in Bloemfontein. With a Worsie Breakfast. The best breakfast and value for money you can ever wish for.I decided to have lunch with my varsity roommate there. Dr Johan Hattingh is Head of Department at the Central University of Technologys Tourism and Hospitality Faculty. We enjoyed a delicious rump steak, medium rare as ordered. Perfect venue for old buddies to catch up and have a wonderful reunion. Thank you for a wonderful time, wonderful service and the best food.Back again. Wonderful.

Since I found this little gem I tend to go there for my new favorite burgers. I dont know what to say but they sure are doing something right cause I keep returning. Really everyone should atleast try them once its good food and amazing staff.

Tired drive from Mossel Bay, stopped at Southern Corner Cafe for something to eat. Pleasantly surprised with the friendly staff and the large variety of dishes on the menu. We even received a free cuppachino because we had to wait a bit for the Burgers. Delicious food, we would recommend the Resturant to anyone and will DEFINITELY support them again.
