Very dissapointing!We waited nearly 50 minutes for 3 half cooked steaks which didnt taste like much. They were really not very busy.Luckily we had a friendly waitress, but sadly that was basically the only upside.Not a place I will be going back to soon.

I took a friend there for her birthday a few weeks ago and I asked the one of waiters to please sing for her but he told me they dont sing for adults anymore.🙄Surprisingly yesterday I took a different Friend to the Falcon Lake Spur at Waterfront mall and they sang for her. Did I mention she was an adult too?Overall I still love Spur and would recommend it, just not sure which one..

I bought an avo & feta burger, thinking it could be absolutely delightful - to my surprise it was a bun and a patty with some feta + avo slapped on there with the famous salad dressing sauce, it couldnt get worse. I payed way too much for something I could make at home & I could make it gourmet too.Absolutely disgusted by Spur at this stage. At least give a brief description on the menu so that customers know what theyre buying! On top of that we had to expain THREE times what milkshakes we wanted to three different waiters. Get yourselfs together!

I am very upset. So one of the managers (Audrey) here tried to swindle me out of my money. My bill came up to R340.60c. We waited a good 45minutes or so for the meal & I when I requested that our waiter serve us with some tomato sauce, we got an empty bottle and all he could say was its almost klaar but theres still some... Now time to pay the bill comes so I wasnt going to give a tip because of the bad service but I felt bad for not tipping so I wrote a tip for R10. Which makes the bill R350.60c. When I get home 20 minutes later & check my texts. I see the deduction as R380.60c so I call them and ask whats going on. Audrey casually calls me buddy and says I wrote the total as R380.60c so thats what he punched in. (A total lie because I wrote that total so I know what i wrote) I am very disappointed by what transpired today. My complaint isnt about the money, its about the fraudulent behaviour of a senior member of staff nogal. Very disappointed.

While on a trip of a lifetime I was taken to Alabama Spurs. I had never gone before. The experience made my trip to SA a shear lifetime of joy. I will forever look for the glorious hamburger in my own country. The sauce is to die for. Thanks for making my trip with the great staff and letting me enjoy the atmosphere.

I wanted to celebrate my e years sober and clean at Spur and not impressed at all. Our waiter our waiter in the smoking area helped and served everyone before me and my mom who came forst. We got our food last. The manager had to get my mother coffee for the waiter took forever. What really upset me was that we had to sent my mothers steak back twice. That after she cleary said very well done in the beginning and our waiter who grilled it himself stripped him when the I called the Manager who then went to grill my moms steak himself. Isnt it the clients perogative to have her steak like she wants it. Twice it came back redish. And again after finishing the meal our plates wgo stood there were taken last and even reveived our bill last for all the others were help first everytime.very dissapointed in Spur today and will not concider ever going back. Did not enjoy my celebration at all. Thank you to the ma ager who got the steak well done.

I would have given it 5 stars... My waiter was amazing, friendly, and always smiling Trevor was great... So for Him there is 10 stars... The steak however was tough, dry and overcooked... So were the mushrooms....

First big mistake, cleaning while we were eating. They were literally sweeping under tables and mopping, yet we were there...eating. Second big mistake, I was not offered a table mat nor the hand bowl yet I had ribs on my plate. What do you eat ribs with, a fork? I felt undervalued as a customer in that particular time. But other than, Im good. The rugby game on the screens was quite entertaining.

Terrible service, very slow and ridiculous prices.R162 for a 200gram fillet steak is daylight robbery. Even if you were buying your steak at woolworths retail price of R274 per kg, thats equates to R54,80 for a 200gran steak.Gone are the days when spur was an affordable family restaurant.

This is the worst SPUR Ive been too. The service is absolutely terrible . Ive came all the way from Durban and experienced pathetic service . The manager and the staff share the same dont care attitude. Ive waited over an hour for the food and after stating to the waiter its been over an hour ,he stil shows no customer care .

I have been waiting for more than 40minutes for nachos and a salad. The foid isgreat but the service is not good. When i was ordering at the front desk the lady was not professional as she was talking to her colleagues while procesing my order.

Service was really not good. Food was not up to standard. I had to send my food back, and when they brought it back, it still didnt taste right. I dont think I will return to Spur again anytime soon. But the manager was friendly and helpful at least.

Amazing place with a nice vibe and soothing atmosphere and the friendliness of the waitors exceded my expectations, always smiling and making jokes with costumers Alabama spur is really a family restaurant where one can go to enjoy a fantastic meal and enjoy wonderful time with your family. yes it does get busy sometimes but the friendliness never disapears. For a more quiet experience I prefer going to Alabama on a Tuesday but Thursdays and weekends are just as fun. Alabama is a must stop when passing through

We stopped over in Bloemfontein for an evening whilst traveling between Johannesburg & Cape Town. We ordered take-aways at the restaurant, and when we arrived back at our guesthouse, we noticed that some items were missing from our order. I called and spoke to the manager, Tazz, who profusely apologised for the error (everyone makes mistakes), and promised to rectify it as soon as possible. Within 20 minutes, she had personally delivered our missing items with some extras, and kept us in the loop the entire time via WhatsApp. I also need to add that she took a taxi from the restaurant to our guesthouse, which was most appreciated. Thank you Tazz & Spur Alabama. Mistakes are completely forgivable when they are dealt with so professionally and so efficiently. Thank you again, you deserve my 5 star rating.

Terrible. Uninformed waiters make for very expensive bills. When you are asked about specials, make sure you give ALL relevant information. Not going to be a returning customer.

Came to Spur in Mimosa, placed our order 10:15 and only received our order 11:10. Waited another 15 min for our Toast and Top-ups. When the Top-ups arrived the the mince was off and sour. The waiter was non existant and so incompetant. Will never go there again!!!! Where is Golden Cloud Spur????
