Stopped here for lunch and wine. Their wine tatsings are really well priced and I enjoyed the wine, especially the Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec.My steak was delicious, really great quality sirloin and the mushroom sauce was rhe best I ever had. To be honest the steak didnt even need a sauce.They cater for kids as well and my daughter loved the pizza.Got some wine to take home, and also a few bottles of sparking grape juice for my daughters 16th birthday.

We went there for lunch on Sunday. The service was terrible, my wife only got her food after an hour, steak & chips, not difficult to prepare. We ended up taking it home for the dog. My Eisbein was under cooked and very little meat.Not a place I would visit again or recommend. 👎

Lekka spot this. Decent menu, well priced. Our food was really good. The Champagne style hannepoet juice is a must!!The wine tasting area has character and the restaurant area is inviting. I would of enjoyed a nice stroll on a trail or walkway if such a facility was available. Our waitress Emma was extremely friendly and helpful often addressing our needs before we asked. The Host was well mannered and welcomed us kindly. Thank you Bellevue for a great meal and good service.

Food is quite good. Guy at reception friendly and very helpfull. Waiters not so much. We waited 10 min for a menu. After that the waiter dissapeared. Then after about 15 min or so, I eventually had to go ask for a waiter to come take the order. One was just standing around and the initial waiter was busy at another table. So all in all, only service delivery needs to be improved

First time visiting Bellevue and sadly the last. The whole experience was very disappointing. There are far better and more polished wine farms in the area that offer both excellent service and value.

Waiter not professional...handed our spoons touching the head part...latte cold...twice. pizza super dry. Meat platter boring and dry....not impressed at all.Beautifull venue..clean toilets.

I have visited Bellevue a few times in the past for wine tastings as I love their Pinotage, but after hearing that the entire tasting venue had been revamped and that they also now have a restaurant I had to make a plan to visit. We decided to go for Fathers Day as the restaurant had a special menu with wine pairing available. The entire building has been modernized yet also incorporating elements of the history of the farm. The seating area on the outside is under a roof and they have heaters to keep you warm when its cold. From your table you look out over a green lawn with a childrens play area to the side (just far enough that the kids can play freely while you can still keep an eye on them). We first did a wine tasting and there after we sat down for our 3 course meal. Every dish was beautifully presented, tasty and paired well with the wine. I have also heard that their pizzas (which wasnt on the menu that day) are delicious so will definitely go back to give them a try.

Always loved Bellevue, one of my favorite places to visit but not so sure anyone. You cant even do the new slider painting on a Friday and NO more cheese or meat platters!!?? NEVER GOT TO A WINE ESTATE WITHOUT CHESSE AND MEAT PLATTERS!!

Probably the most tasteless pizza Ive ever had, and they dont even give garlic or parmesan like other pizza restaurants, you have to pay R60 extra to make your pizza taste like anything. On top of that, we had to swat away a bunch of flies the entire time while trying to eat. I would not recommend.

Its our 2nd visit here in two months, and we still say...They have the finest Pinotage at Bellevue Wine Estate! We paired our wine tasting with a delicious Shiraz pizza to share, topped with Biltong, blue cheese, fig preserve and feta. The home of the worlds first pinotage wine. This hidden gem has the most pleasant environment and the wines are great. It is not as commercialised as others and the surrounding is just perfect for one of the oldest vineyards in the Cape winelands

VERY BAD SERVICE!!! Party was planned weeks in advance and the menu agreed on to be told that they don’t have ALL the items as per the planned menu is completely unacceptable! Will NOT recommend this venue! How can you run out of steaks on a menu that was booked weeks in advance! Then to be told by the Manager that he is sorry…oh please!!!

This is a brilliant little hidden gem. The restaurant is relatively new and to our surprise was already fully booked when we got there on the Sunday morning around 11:00. That didnt stop the manager from squeezing us in to one of the lounge corners to allow us a taste of their wine and pizza. Both were 10/10 By the way. Beautiful thin crusted pizza (changed to my liking as Im a picky eater) and a well balanced wine selections. The tasting was presented by a very talented and knowledgeable young guy and I cant say more than very well done to this group! Great atmosphere!! You will most definitely see us again!

The farm had like most wine estates, and old charm the veranda and outside seating is well arranged to follow covid protocols. The three different tastings is nice. But in my case We did the 8 tastings. Over the festive period they will be open almost everyday of the week

The wines are very good but the tasting and restaurant is unorganized. The lady that did our tasting had no knowledge of the specific wines and did no justice to these fine wines. Also no rinsing of palate between wines were available. Cheese and meat platter were hardly enough for 2 people. I was disappointed overall.

Excellent wines. Good food and impeccable service. A definite must if you looking for a day outing.

A five star experience. This is a wine farm with a lot of history. One of the traditional thatched houses is a national monument.We started off by tasting a selection of wines of exceptional quality hosted by a very knowledgeable young man. The restaurant is light and spacious and the food was delicious. What a find. We will be back.

Bellevue is a beautiful venue set in a shady area on the wine estate. They serve wood fired pizzas and burgers, with a kiddies menu and high chairs available. A kids play area is also available for children to play on. The food was good, staff helpful and wine very nice. Would recommend trying the non-alcoholic sparkling grape juice as a starting drink.

Great value for money!The pizza’s all named after wine, pairs pretty well, thin based, fully rounded. This place is a good all rounder, they also have a safe play area for the kids..bonus! We had the pulled pork burger, Cinsaut pizza, Lamb burger and Shiraz pizza!We’ve never been to the Friday night band night, but I can imagine its good.

An excellent venue outside the citis huzzle with live music on a Friday evening. The food is good and the red wines are excellent. The first winery who processed pinotage. Hard liquor and beer are also available. Recommended.
