Sunday brunch was a disaster. Service is extremely slow for a very empty restaurant. Cutlery was dirty, breakfast arrived about 45 minutes after ordering, then the pepper grinder broke and spoiled the entire meal. Management seems non existent. Waiters need better training. A real pity, the restaurant has an amazing atmosphere but let down by the quality of service. Will not recommend.

I had a lunch with my son. And experienced the worst gender and age discrimination possible.I was completely ignored by a waiter.She only communicated with my son. Not even once, she gave me chance to speak and convey my needs and wishes.When I asked to speak to the manager. He also confirmed that. If you are female and over certain age. You are invisible. And your Male guardian is the only person to communicate with.Extremely disappointed.

Went for a late lunch, loved the atmosphere, however, service was incredibly slow for a very empty restaurant . Waited almost an hour for a simple low carb breakfast. Waiters need training. No manager present. Dirty cutlery. Tried to give Mugg n Bean Broadacres a second chance by bringing the family for a late breakfast the next day. Same level of service and wait. Will not be returning in the near future. Pity as we loved the restaurant.

I was very pleased to see the vegan options on their menu, so indulged in a cappucino with almond milk. However, their servings are very small, especially the sandwiches, which come with no sides and are a little bland. The service was great otherwise

After the horror of ordering through Uber Eats and the driver handing us food tha had our coffee spilt all over it, we called and spoke to the manager Thando. She was patient and understanding, she suggested we bring it all back, since the driver had run away with a less than satisfactory apology. So we drove to the store and immediately when we arrived Thando greeted us, apologized on behalf of the store and assured us that it is not their usual high standards. The owner also assured us he will be taking it up with Uber Eats. A fresh order was prepared for us and we say down to enjoy the meal and the wonderful scenery. Thank you all for turning a sour experience into a memorable day.🙏🙏😉

Ordered Nachos. Was so dry with no guacamole. Sent it back. They sent the same plate back improved. Waited more than an hour for my food.Would not recommend

2nd Mugg and Bean in 2 months and the quality of your food across the branches are definitely not what it used to be. From the chips and meals to the portion and quality of your cakes. Very disappointing. I will not be visiting any of your branches in future.

Love Sunday morning breakfasts here.

The service was shocking as they were totally understaffed! I ordered a scone and got one little piece of butter and one tiny tub of jam and just enough cream for half the scone, that was really miserly, why should a patron have to ask for more? My husband ordered anchovy toast and also got one tiny tub of anchovy for 2 massive slices of toast and no butter was offered! It took over a half hour for our food to be brought to the table! All in all it wasnt a pleasant experience!

What a lovely place! This Mugg and Bean is set in a country style setting in the center of the shopping complex. You walk between the buildings and dont even see the car park anymore. You can choose to sit inside or outside on grassy sections with little chickens passing by at leisure. The food is also tasty and as usual, Mugg and Bean portions are generous.Go check it out for yourself.

Great service and awesome service. They should be consistent with their food though. I ordered the Cobb salad and the blue cheese was a nice portion. When I went there again a week later, I had to look for the blue cheese. When I brought this to the waitresses attention, it was fixed immediately, so kudus to great service

Its the best Mugg & Bean that Ive been to. We ordered a breakfast, the plate was hot, which in turn kept the meal nice and warm. Other shops could learn from this. As a little spoil they added a chocolate cookie with every bottomless coffee, including the refill! Other shops dont even offer a cookie with a bottomless coffee when its served with breakfast. Well done! Great store. Friendly waiter. Will be back!!

Very friendly staff. Brilliant atmosphere and service. Family friendly. There are chickens running around outside and its the perfect family outing for breakfasts over the weekends. Hidden away a bit compared to Papachinos but definitely worth exploring.

One extra star because it is a lovely venue. My breakfast was a Big Grill which unfortunately had a very disappointing steak. Overcooked and incredibly tough. I declined to have another made as time was running out and the meat quality was likely to be the same, irrespective of the level of preparation. I did not want a freeby as I had the rest of my meal. But, if I order a steak for R140 and I resorted to one egg, chips and bacon, I would have at least expected to pay for one egg, chips and bacon and not R126! Its great for business on the day, but you wont see me again!

I dont know what came over me to think that Mug and Bean would be a good option. I have truthfully never been a fan of their food. It is either oversized, or over done.Today was no exception. I ordered the new Folded Fillers and thinking I would be healthy and also get some possible food for my 1 year old I chose the holoumi and aubergine filler. The filler was full indeed, to the brim with sweet chili sauce. I am not sure why they added anything else as every thing was so sweet chili, there was nothing else to taste.Maybe it is just me, but smothering things with sweet chili does not make for a good meal. Hiding flavours is never a good thing.Otherwise the waiters were relatively attentive and the lunch out with my one year old was fine. I guess fine is good enough for M&B?

Great coffee especially with having almond milk, just wish we had been told before 5pm that they were closing at 5pm. Unbeknownst to us they close a 5pm, our server didnt bother to tell us that and thus we missed out on food. Considering we were sitting in the gardens and there was no poster nearby to indicate this.

Convenient with tons of parking. You can take a book and enjoy a relaxing few hours with coffee and great food. I live the new light options of pork belly, livers, potatoes etc that allows you to make your own meal. Ofcouse the best breakfast in a beautiful garden nursery setting with chickens running around. Kids playground is also very useful for grandchildren

We are regulars here and dont eat pork. Our favourite is the Big Ben and Mugg and Bean are always accommodating with regards to swapping out our ham and bacon for alternative options. However, this is the only thing I am able to eat there. All the other food Ive had at Mugg and Bean has been disappointing to say the least. This review is purely based on our experience with the Big Ben breakfast.

Brilliant food and service.

Great service in a great setting. Even though Mugg & Bean is a franchise so the menu is standard the location inside the nursery makes this one special. They will also bring out a water bowl for your doggie if you have brought your furry friend along with you.

I love this place! No traffic noise, no looking over a parking lot and the little chickens are cute! Excellent service, coffee is on point and the food is great!

The play area is superb with tables positioned such that parents can easily keep an eye on their children.For those who do not want to be subjected to the noise of the playground, there are other areas to sit. Either inside or in a garden setting.

The worst presentation of a breakfast ever!! Compared to other Mugg & Bean stores this was very disappointing and we will not be back! Used to come here a lot years ago and can honestly say service has deteriorated.

Waitress made errors with the order. Wasnt very attentive. We asked were offered butter and jam for the toast. I asked for butter but this never came. I asked another waiter for butter and he had brought this in less than a minute. Our original waitress then brings butter after I had almost finished with my toast. Not impressed, my wife insisted that we not tip her but I decided to none the less.

Tranquil! Im definitely going back again. I prefer peaceful dining spaces as work is just tiring sometimes. The staff was very friendly.

The food can not be faulted. It was delicious, when i eventually recieved it... the service was not great at all. By the time my food arrived, everyone else had already finished eating, never mind the fact that they also had to wait 10 minutes for cutlery.

Had breakfast it was ok I asked for my eggs 2b sunnyside up it was a bit 2raw & when we were done we waited a long time for them to bring the bill. I did not enjoy the breakfast.
