Nice is nice, even when it is jam packed. Sunday brunch is a hot favourite with locals and we had to queue to get in. We had no idea what the hype was about until we got to the table. The service from the waiter was super efficient, the food was stunning and there’s a great buzz all around.Well done all round. Kudos to great team.

Hosted my friend baby shower at this beautiful venue,beautiful set-up for 21 people, loved the long lunch of delicious pies with salad. The welcome bites were amazing, now the mini tarts just cherry on top. Pricing great value for money, the scenery was beautiful social and just relaxing. Thank you so much Vicki and kitchen staff. Absolutely loved it! Would definitely recommend. It was just as good as it was ten years ago! And now they do a half and half option with the egg baskets and pancakes so you can have both. Dudu provided friendly and efficient service.

I normally do not have dessert with my breakfast, however temptation got the better of me and i had to try the half and half option of the salmon basket and crumpets. It was a good decision....lovely scrambled egg and salmon in a toast basket with a delicious warm tomato relish.....perfectly cooked crumpets with a generous helping of strawberries and melted butter, 2 flat whites to wash that down, lovely cosy restaurant, good attentive waitron. Must return for more......

Was a bit of wait but the hostess was very kind and kept checking in with us, gave us some fresh squeezed orange juice. food was delicious and service was great!

Had such a wonderful brunch experience at this beautiful place. It was quite busy as we got there and so we had to wait like 10 minutes before we got a seat. Ordered the half and half - crumpets and the banting breakfast, and a glass of yummy orange juice 💯I absolutely love the half and half option for breakfast as you get the best of both worlds. The crumpets were amazing - so light and fluffy with so much flavour. The banting breakfast was just as tasty with one of the best hollandaise sauces I have had. Even though the place was packed to the brim while we ordered, the food came very quickly and there was no compromise on taste or presentation! Kudos to the kitchen staff 👏🏽They also have a great selection of cakes and other bakery items available with daily specials. I got a chocolate brownie and the strawberry roulade as takeaway - both were in sufficient portions and extremely flavourful. 😍It was a lovely experience overall even though the waitress on the day was a bit sub par. Will definitely go back and try the other items they have in store 🤩. Absolutely recommend for brunches with family, friends and even dates 🌻.

This is a lovely restaurant with a beautiful cultural feel to it. The wait staff are AMAZING and pay attention to detail and have sunny demeanor even though it was such a cold day outside. They paid attention to the fact that everytime their door was left opened after a patron entered or closed the other patrons winced so they made numerous trips up and down to ensure that the door got closed. I appreciated that level of empathy the wait staff had. Food was good but the setup is better and comfortable.

Great weekend brunch spot. Good service. Normally busy over weekends so unless you want to wait, go earlier. You must try their signature egg basket. I find their coffee quite strong.

Always a lovely experience here. Food is consistent, well portioned, fresh and served well. Very busy on weekend mornings so head over there early to grab a table or later on in the day to avoid the rush. They are best known for their desserts and breakfast baskets.

The setting beautiful and well decorated. The staff friendly and accommodating.The coffee freezo tasted like nothing. The half and half breakfast is a great concept and more places should do that. The toast basket was unfortunately hard. The flapjacks were yum. The flourless chocolate cake is melt in the mouth but requires two sitting to finish that being said I am not sure that that justifies R90odd a slice. With regard to the food overall, I was underwhelmed.

I popped in here for a quick coffee and a treat. The owner recommended the individual lemon meringue which was very tasty. The cappuccino was the perfect temperature. A very nice vibe and atmosphere in an idyllic setting. I will be back.

This place has really good breakfast, with vegan and vegetarian options(all day). Wide variety of teas-the sets they serve in make it all too special. Their baked goods are fresh and just perfect. Nothing to fault them on really.

A fantastic little coffee shop, the staff are always friendly and strive to make every meal there memorable. The breakfast is fantastic and so is the coffee. Weekends can get pretty busy so you might have to wait a bit for a table. Would definitely recommend trying this place.

If you havent been to Nice you havent really been to Parkhurst, one of the best breakfast / brunch spots in Johannesburg. Great accommodating staff. Definitely worth a try if you havent been!

Very nice atmosphere, awesome service and friendly staff. Aside from the vegan option, the rest of the food ordered was yummy. The crumpets are buttery and fluffy so I found the half and half option a perfect balance of savoury and sweet. We specifically chose this venue for brunch and because they had a vegan option on their menu. There was 14 of us, a family get together for my brothers birthday, so overall we all had a great time and will definitely visit again.

It was such a wonderful day to go, weather was perfect and the vibe was just as better. It was just chill vibes. The service is excellent, the staff is attentive and so welcoming. The food is good but it arrived cold the strawberry roloude was amazing!!! Overall its a cute spot if your looking for a chilled day out with loved ones.

I loved this because I wasnt judged for drinking in the morning (about 11am) without a meal 😃😍It was busy when we got there, but the staff were very attentive. I dont know how they managed it but my table and the ones around me were very well attended to.

The brunch experience truly never disappoints. The success is clear as it moved to a bigger venue on 4th.My go-to dish here is always the half and half and I have truly never been disappointed.The place is quite busy and dont take reservations so do be prepared to wait a bit if you heading there during peak breakfast hours.

This is the cutest restaurant. The food is amazing. The coffee comes hot and the Banting breakfast is amazing! It is cozy and inviting with amazing food and atmosphere without being pretentious. While were there, there were families and business people. It truly attracts and caters to, every crowd.

I had a fantastic time there. The waitress, Nhlanhla was great, she didn’t miss a beat. The food didn’t take long to be prepared, even though it was quite busy. The owner was very lovely and checked in occasionally to make sure everything was okay. Food was great.

A disappointment!I dont recommend hosting functions there. I say this from personal experience. We held my daughters kitchen tea there. Everything was prearranged and our table was to be ready at 12:00. Guests started arriving at 11:50 and the table hadnt even been set. We made the best out of a very unfortunate, disappointing situation. We were given champagne as an apology but that honestly didnt make up for the complete lack of effort made to make the day special. I found it impersonal, unprofessional and overpriced. Definitely dont feel that we got value for our money.😔

The food was absolutely, gob-smackingly delicious. The breakfast baskets are full of flavour and more filling than they look. The service is good with friendly staff, the environment is warm and bubbly, definitely perfect for a morning breakfast with friends or the family.
