Had a lovely early morning at Mugg & Bean at Little Falls. Food delicious...as always and very friendly and good service...just the best...Thank you for a very nice start of the day.

Upon entering, the waiter at the door was busy talking to someone else. We waited for him to attend to us as we understand we need to observe COVID protocols. We decided to Just proceed and that’s only when he called us to sanitise; he still did NOT take our temperature.No one attended to us and we just looked for a table ourselves.Upon paying, the waiter was impatient. I use one card linked to all my accounts. The POS machine usually gives me an option of my accounts to select from. After I selected cheque, the machine prompted me to select Straight or Budget, which is a credit card option and I’ve never experienced that before. I asked her to start again and make the selection for me as I thought I made a mistake. She was so impatient , the same thing happened and I explained that it should not be happening. Instead of just trying to explain that their machines works like that she was just rude and said she’ll call the manager.The manager too was not really listening to us, almost as if there was a default conclusion that had been made that we don’t want to pay.I asked her what Straight and Budget means, and her explanation was wrong and I know this because I work for a bank. That’s when I explained to her the difference and told her that the manner in which they talk is very rude and condescending and all they had to do was to explain that their machine works that way and we move on.Still concerned about how relaxed you are with your COVID protocols.The waiters we dealt with were Noma and Faith. Don’t remember the guy at the door but his service was more disturbing because we could have been sick people and allowed inside.

Mugg & Bean has always been a family favorite and they always put in a lot of effort to keep their menus updated and with interesting new food combinations. I enjoy beautiful presentations when it comes to food and they get a 10/10.

Service is slow. Coffee nice but paid R57 for the stalest piece of Million chocolate cake. It was gross. Famous Brands have lost the plot.

Ample parking and a large seating area makes this Coffee shop a great stop for a quick catch up with friends or leisurely lunch with a colleague. The food is ok and the selection of hot and cold drinks impressive. Service is acceptable and the staff is mostly happy to be there. It has an inside and outside covered area so it is viable winter and summer. Inside it also has a milky lane so you are really spoilt for choice as far as sweet things go. A regular stop for me. This day we had bottomless cold drinks and mix and match halloumi chips and fried chicken strips. The chips were ok but the chicken was rather overdone. Dipped in sweet chili sauce it was ok.

The food was good, I had the chicken strips with sweet chilli.You can order from the Milkylane as well while at Mugg & Bean.The waiter just forgot about my drink and then also forgot to bring the bill from Milkylane. Other than that it was neat and clean as well.

One thing that struck me is that the Big Ben at this specific Mugg & Bean tasted different from the others I have at other franchises so the brand experience was inconsistent. The tomatoes were as big as golf balls so had to deconstruct my Eggs Benedict to remove them. My dirty chai was divine. The service was good.

All Covid-19 protocols observed. Best bottemless coffee. New winter menu. Still good value all round.

Yesterday we went to Mug and Bean at Leroy Merlin, Roodepoort. We ordered 2 Iced Coffees, what we got was a glass filled with what looked like milky water, at the bottom was some type of Coffee syrup, and floating around on top was 4 blocks of ice. To say we were rather stunned is putting it mildly. Every Iced Coffee Ive ever ordered was made with Ice cream & Coffee. Nonetheless, we drank them because we were thirsty, even though for R35 each we felt it was a rip off. Then we decided to order 2 Americanos, what arrived tasted like dishwater, also R30 each, this time I sent them back, there were 2 ladies behind the counter no Manager in sight, I demanded 2 new Americanos, again same thing, an absolutely awful excuse for Americano. We gave up and left, never to set foot in that Mug & Bean again. Clearly this staff have never been trained properly and are left to their own devices. To you the Owner of this Franchise, Im very offey with the Mug & Bean menu, and you need to catch a wake up. If you are not going to Mind Your Own Business then best you train your staff to follow the Mug & Bean Formulatory correctly, or dont be in business at all!

Excellent service and the food was fresh and tasty. I was just disturbed by the furniture, the sofas by the bakery section were ruined/torn, this misrepresented the Mugg&bean brand for me.

The food is not bad at all, and the waiter was very attentive and friendly. Awesome service.

I really wish they would improve the selection of their coffee. Its bland and lacks body. Compared to Wimpy or Krispy Kreme, M & G cuppachinos taste like cheap instant coffee.Other than the worst tasting coffee, the service is very good. Friendly and attentive. Food tastes better than the coffee.

Writing this review while sitting waiting for the waiter for 30min to refill our coffee and to ask us what we would like to eat. I stay in Little Falls and try to support bussiness close to me, but everytime I visit this Mugg & Bean the service is worst. The waiters here have horrible attitudes and makes you feel unwelcome. Will be avoiding this restaurant in the future. Thanks and good bye.

All day breakfast is a winner. Big portions, even muffins, bottomless beverages, need I say more. All this served with kindness

The coffee is bad bad bad. I have to tell them not to burn the milk everytime I buy. I understand the pressure gets a bit much. But as a barista they need to be able to work under such conditions and still provide amazing coffee.Its been 10 mins now and my coffee is still burning hot. If I wanted hot TEA I WOULD HAVE ORDERED THAT..

Our local breakfast go to. Service is top notch and consistently good food.

Their Million cake was not fresh but the manager was accommodating enough to have us swap it in for carrot cake. One issue was that we had it as a takeaway, had we not tasted it at the store we wouldve left with a stale slice of cake.This order was at 12:41pm

Service is lacking, service staff have no idea what they are doing, establishment is borderline incompetent.Who ever is in the kitchen is trying his or her best to compensate for the front line service inability to service customers.Mugg and bean is notoriously not interested in resolving customer issues.I cant really blame mugg and bean as its my own stupidity for going there again, its a mistake I will for sure not make again.

Service was a bit slow. Food was very greasy. Ordered the classic breakfast with poached eggs soft. One was overcooked. The hashbrown swimming in grease as was the bacon.

Terrible experience. We ordered two large cappuccinos and two low carb meals with rye toast. The cappuccinos were like water and had no coffee taste. Sent them back twice and did not reorder, they could not get it right. It was confirmed that the grinder had been adjusted... Obviously to save a few grinds at the risk of losing the quality... And customers. The low carb meal was poor. Hubby would not stand for poor quality as he is Italian and a food connoisseur and critic. He did not eat his. The only good thing on the plate was the eggs and rye. The avo was colourless and lacked flavour, the few little cherry tomatoes were not fresh, the drab little spinach was a an eye and mouth sore. Whoever let this out the kitchen needs to be ashamed at allowing this to be put in front of a client. Mugg & Bean... Sorry but this is the last straw 🥤.

THEE WORSE COFFEE EVER!!!I bought a double cappuccino on Sunday (29 Nov) and after a few sips I started feeling sick. I had to pull over on the highway because I had to vomit. I was sick the whole afternoon. Never again will buy from this Mugg n Bean

Phoned Milky Lane Little Falls to find out if they can use an image on a ice cream cake, what a terrible experience, you cant make out what the woman is saying, i just gave up and put the phone down, This is terrible because we really liked Milky Lane Little Falls. Previously when we asked for the cake menu we had to wait 30 minutes because no one could find it.

Excellent service

Inconsistencies with patrons entering relating to temperature scans. Not everyone is scanned. Service is tardy to say the least. At least 7 minutes for my coffee refil to arrive after taking away my mug. Food was mediocre, not the usual M&B flavour.

The best part for me is that the branch in Little Falls opens at 7am, which means that I can go there straight after dropping my brother at school. Its spacious and the service is great. I got used to going to study in coffee shops when I was overseas and now I have found the perfect place here. The majority of the indoor seating have plug points for you to take your laptop. And of course the food is amazing!!

Christ City pastors and members often come here around 1pm after our Sunday 10am meeting is finished.Perfect for coffee or a meal. We typically hang out here till about 5 pm.Spacious and comfortable.Excellent group meeting place

As with all Mugg and Bean Franchises, this one does not disappoint. Food is of a high quality and the setting isnt bad either. Coffee however is great.Staff in general werent very friendly though, but we did get what we ordered without mistakes.

The service was so bzd4 ladies were so unfriendly and not helpful at all which is shocking because we love Mugg and bean and never had thid before.

This has to be the slowest Mugg & Bean out of them all. Ive been there twice now and every time Ive experienced waiters who are too busy having a chat with each other instead of tending to customers. Both times Ive been there was very quiet so you can even blame the lack of urgency on peak timing.

Do not have menu items advertised. Always making excuses that they waiting delivery week after week.

Today we went to Mugg & Bean Ruimsig. The waiter was fast showing our seat and taking the order of cupachino and buttermilk chicken strips. The cupachino was very good but when the food had not no salt, was tasteless, tough and over cooked. The waiter never came to ask whether we were happy with the order. They just stand in a group and chat to one another but that you know from the previous client who rated you. We had to call a waiter to bring the bill. We did not finish our food and took if in a doggg bag for our dogs. After eating the very same meal at Mugg & Bean Key West and President Hyper this was the worst experience ever.RegardsGeorge

Mugg and Bean branches are generally pretty consistent. The staff are helpful and quick at this particular one. I reserve my 5 star reviews for places that are outstanding.However there is nothing wrong with this branch and I would definitely recommend it.

We had the unfortunate experience to eat at Mugg & Bean The Falls on Sunday 14 April 2019. Not only was the waiter incompetent, the manager on duty was just as incompetent with no sense of customer service let alone customer experience. It took about 30mins for them to get the order right, we had to ask them to clean the areas around us, dirty tables, dirty floors. We are regular customers and was therefore disappointed in the drop in quality and service.
