Really extensive menu. There is literally everything you can think of to eat, which is great. Service is good and manager is very attentive and helpful. She really cares when she asks if everything is okay, which is a rare find.

I was very impressed with the fish and chips I ordered from the Pub Menu. A generous portion at a reasonable price. Will be back to sample the rest of the menu.

A really great pub & restaurant. Been going here for years and its never dissapointed. Always busy, yet they still maintain great service and dont compromise on quality. Great meals and decent portions compliment their reasonable pricing and the decent choice of craft beers is much appreciated. Can get a bit hectic during big sports matches, but thats par for the course with any pub. Would highly recommend

Was there yesterday and discovered Green and Gold is under new management. I ordered the bacon and creamy Jalapeño burger and an hour after leaving, i discovered i had food poisoning. Anyone under health services please investigate.

Every time I have been here whatever I have ordered has been slightly off. Last time it was chicken. Dont think Ill go back anytime soon. Seems their problem is an extensive menu and therefore they carry extensive stock. They should streamline their menu to popular items to ensure that their fresh produce is just that - fresh.

I was gravely disappointed in the steak that was delivered. What was delivered was not what was ordered on the menu, we had come up for a sales meeting from Durban to try the Blackend Steak char grilled black and rolled in Cajun spice Medium Rare prepared. Only to receive a weldone steak covered in black peppercorns. And to be told there was a different spice suppliers, peppercorns are not Cajun

The food is excellent. The waitrons are superb. Great vibe. Happy people.

Have to be honest, been coming to this pub for over 17 years. Anyone ever wants to open a pub spend some time here to understand how a well oiled machine works. Outstanding service, bar selection, staff and fare (as its referred to). Best in the west as they say!

Fun little sports bar with a big menu, big portions and a VERY big selection of shooters/cocktails/drinks. The service is great or at least well intentioned. Large televisions for watching the game/match visible from every seat. Not a place to take your date but it is cheap and cheerful and does what it says it does very well. I saw signs for ladies night but not sure when or what that involves.

Very good value for money especially on Ladies Wednesdays. My partner had curry...also at a discounted price. Food was delicious...great evening out

Service is great. Food is a bit slow to arrive but definitely worth the wait. Lots of massive TV screens showing different sporting events. Great vibe, lots of food, beer, cider, cocktail and wine choices. A true hidden gem.

I went there with a friend of mine for a quick bite and the waiters let us in only for us to get inside and find more than 10 tables are RESERVED like seriously thats very annoying, why let us in??? You could have just said that at the door 🤷‍♀️or at least ask us how long well be staying 😒thats really not coolIm so disappointed with your service!!!

G&G, as we affectionately call it, is always our go to place, our default when all other plans fail. The staff are happy and helpful, the food and portions is amazing and the fact that there is Guiness on tap, what more can one ask for.

Best sports bar in Jozi. Good food selection from breakfast to pub grub, traditional SA dishes and deserts. Wines, liquers, lagers, and cocktails, the bar has every drink youll need. Be sure to be early to catch big sport games or call in and reserve your seat. Service has always been great.

One of my lovest places with excellent food (try ribs!) and wide choice of beer and drinks. Perfect for date or to come with friends. Not recommend for family with kids. Disappointed with waiters - too slow, too lazy, sometime they forget about you for half an hour! Only 2-3 waiters are working hard and deserve tips. Place (outside) is also unprotected from annoying wind - needs solid windows instead of curtains! Inside is good vibe though - very cozy and no any wish to go home. :) Definitely visit GnG at least to make own opinion! And enjoy young waitresses. :)

On entering I was not greeted by any of the waiters standing by the door. Eventually I guy named Lucky asked if I had been served.I had the Legends burger. It was ridiculously oversalted, almost not edible. Presentation looks fine.Finished my burger and waited easily 15 mins for my plate to be taken. Was not asked how the food was. Average experience at best.

If you like Pub Grub, then this is the place to go. Living in Pretoria, I dont visit too often but will stop in for lunch if Im in the area. Very wide range of drinks & a huge menu. If I have any criticism its that their portions are too large! Huge portions. I feel that they could reduce their portions by 20% &, of course, the prices by 20% as well. They are fairly expensive but the size of the portions do justify the prices, if youre hungry!

Besides not following enough COVID standards, by packing the place shoulder to shoulder, the food is subpar for its price range.Everything tasted and looked like it was store bought - but priced as a premium meal. These would be acceptable ready-to-eat meals in SPAR, not at a restaurant at 2x the price.
