Fun family market. Most vendors have card facilities, but always wise to bring cash. Great food, beer specials, and interesting goods for sale, including plants and fresh veggies

Initially when they moved to the new location we were very disappointed, it was super crowded and lost its vibe. But theyve managed to claim it back. There are so many great stalls and finally enough shaded seating. The food and drinks are great. Always a pleasure. The fact that its dog friendly is just another added bonus 😁

LOVE this place. Its one of my favorite markets (second to Irene). It has arts/crafts, jewelry, food (packaged and fresh), crafts for kids, flowers/plants, books, etc. My favorite food stalls are the Indo Thai food (YUM! Must try their Tom yum soup, Pad Thai and spring rolls) and the smoothie stall. Theres also a ton of seating so you will have luck finding a seat. The only thing I was disappointed about was the lack of fruit/veg stalls. Theres literally only one and the produce they sell is fresh but limited. Have fun!!

Very overpriced Eateries...I know everyone is suffering financially including the visitors. Vendors should have reasonably priced goods then they would get a whole lot more clients and many more clients would recommend more friends and family to frequent the market.Re-thinking your high prices should be your main concern 😟

A blissful way to start the weekend at the market. A family accommodating environment. Food stalls range from different cuisines such a Greek, Indian, Mexican etc. There are fresh products, a variety of stalls with different cheeses, artisan bread and pastries and fresh ground spices. . If you are a healthy person, the fresh vegetables and health bars will definitely catch your eye. Kids area sits right behind the wide spread eating area. Worth an early morning dash for fresh coffee and pastries.

I thoroughly enjoyed my morning at the market. As a foody, it is right up my alley. There are a least fifty stalls with products ranging from goat cheese to sweet potato and sourdough breads, gelato milkshakes to pearl jewelry and quirky handbags.I fell in love with a few stalls in particular and I hope to see them there when I go again; the pork belly stall!I cannot recommend this couples food enough. They serve slices of glazed pork belly with fresh herbs in a crisp bun as well as juicy steak rolls and trust me now, if you see they have their caramel sauce on sale, buy it!!!!! Its so worth it!

What a gem!An absolute must if you find your Saturday morning available. They have a large variety of food and beverages on offer; along with a arts and crafts section. The vendors are always happy and ready to explain or serve. The atmosphere is cheery and the aroma’s you come across, divine!I love the fact that it is very rare to find a repetitive product. There is no loud or live music which I find to be fantastic as there is no need for it. It’s simply a pleasure to walk around hear the hums of “ooooh and ahhh’s” all around.

Lots of hand made products, clothing, accessories and food! Wish there were more plants on sale. The vibe is awesome with many stalls and people walking around. There is however limited seating within close proximity of others so social distancing is a bit difficult. It can get quite crowded. However if you want a takeaway to munch on the road the variety of foods is great. Many cuisines represented. From baked goods and coffee to Greek and Mexican foods. A great place to meet up with friends and spend some time browsing the stalls. Happy sellers, haooy customers.

The best foodies market in Gauteng. The best combination in variety of food, pleasant environment and ancillary activities such as the craft Market, restaurants and Brooklyn Theatre. Go early, gets busy but never unpleasant. It has a real Cape Town vibe about it.

The market has a joyful and energetic vibe and the new location has more market stalls. It caters for a variety of audiences as there are food stalls sporting food from various countries, art stalls, and many more. One critique would be that some stalls do not have prices and a few of the stalls are overpriced.

I only get to come here once a year. It is a change for me to try something new and very South African (but sometimes with a twist) that I can get where I live. I just wish I had more time to buy and enjoy the cheeses and cured meats on display. Guess I will just have to settle for vetkoek and moer koffie. Not that Im complaining :)Eating aside, mot of the vendors are happy to tell you more about what they sell and how they do it. I have learned more than one interesting thing on my visits here.

Ive been to many informal food markets over the years and this one definitely stands out for a wide variety of cuisine to choose from and a cost atmosphere. While there are many wooden benches to accommodate large groups of people, youll often find that all the seats are already taken. Plan in advance to arrive early and claim a bench.

I attended the Hazelwood food night market and it has a relaxed vibe. There are a variety of stalls. I especially enjoyed the melkkos and curry and rice stall. In general I felt items were a bit pricy. There are a good variety of cuisine ranging from South Arican, Dutch, Indian, German, Thai, Greek and Vietnamese. The seating space are limited if you do not come early. The night mark hours are from 17h00 till 21h00. A must attend if you in Pretoria during the time.
