We recently had a year end function at this venue. It is a large spacious area. The staff there were very helpful and efficient. They also made sure that all social distancing rules and regulations were kept by everyone there. There were ample parking available. It was a good time we had lots of fun despite all the restrictions. I would definitely use this venue again

A very unique car show for the Japanese Import car fans. Featured old classic and more modern vehicles and vintage motorcycles. A cash bar was available and plenty of fast food was on sale. Professionally organized by The Pretoria Old Motor Club.

Staff grumpy and unhelpful, they ask a different price from what is advertised and they want to ask their new fees for guided tours without having any guides 🙄😒 Children were very disappointed. I guess this is why no one goes there anymore. Would not recommend at all.

Visiting te Pioneer Museum was one of the highlights of my childhood. This place taught us how to make butter and cheese. We also had a taste of bread they made from a masonry oven with some of the butter we made.It was a great experience,I encourage parents to take their kids there whilst theyre young.

Rustic old historical museum situated in the middle of a city. Sprawling area with nice trees and dams.Farm homestead and stables with all amenities. Sometimes loud noise eminatimg when patrons brings large speakers. Not good since this is a historical serene environment. And the neighbours has to put up with this. Has become slightly better recently. Now Sunday mornings we also have the privilege of a Church sermon too.....No pets allowed but very family friendly. Pack your picnic basket and come make a braai here.

It is so amazing to see how the early settlers lived. This is a must if you have never been. Do the full tour and book the bread baking experience! Take your kids and the grandparents, as they will enjoy the demonstration and they will add to the stories from their childhood.

The museum itself was a little disappointing (felt neglected) BUT we visited the BOEREMARK (Farmers Market) early one Saturday morning and WOW!!! What an experience!!! Food stalls, crafts, plants, woodworked items ... the list goes on and on. Wonderful fresh produce. Home made jams and preserves, turkish delight, nougat, biltong etc etc. Youve gotta arrive EARLY as its all packed up and gone by 10am but its well worth a visit! Combine the two for a wonderful experience!
