Best sushi I have ever tasted. Eat as much as you like every Thursday, but you have to book in advance as they are usually fully booked. It is not on the menu, but they do serve Saki. Owner is usually around and hes a friendly guy that is always up for a chat. Build quality of sushi isnt always up to standard, but they get it right most of the time.

My personal favorite. A Thai restaurant @ Glen Village. Highly recommended! Incredible relaxing atmosphere, delicious food and outstanding service.

Sadly the Lotus Thai we knew and loved is no longer. Tonight we asked guest to join us at Lotus Thai for a special Birthday celebration.We became when we did not recognise any of the new staff. But the staff was friendly and we decided to stay and enjoy our greatly anticipated sushi.We had starters that was enjoyable and noticed that none of the sushi chefs were at their station, we asked if they were still coming? We ordered our main sushi and realised all the staff including management has changed.Our platters had prawn nigiri that was off, very off. The manager came to apologise.Sadly with sushi you can not take chances. Our sushi was of poor quality and over all it was not presented well especially compared to Lotus Thai standards.We will sadly not be returning.

Pleasant friendly intimate and cosy ... the food is very nice and Thursday Evenings they have a sushi special for R140.00 per person.Delight yourself in some really tasty sushi, thai chicken soup, thai chicken noodles and springrolls.Great choice for a very good price
