Love Asian food and Simply Asia does not disappoint. My selection was 316 crusted honey chicken. Happiness. Currently running a special for R65 Monday to Friday. Plenty bang for your buck.

The waiter was pleasant and chatty. His recommendation of duck in soy sauce was delicious and my partner found her sweet & sour beef tasty.A pleasant surprise was that a third meal came free when two were ordered from the main menu so I tried the honey duck which was also very good.The drinks are limited with no fruit juice or non alcoholic beer. I tried a Thai canned coconut drink which was terrible. The imported Thai sparkling water is ok.

The food was very nice, but Iv been wondering wats happening with some of your outlets (The Grove Mall & Menlyn Maine) Iv been to Brooklyn service was very bad & I think your restaurant needs an upgrade

A small place in the mall. Despite its rather simplistic decor, the food is excellent. One can observe all action in the kitchen as the chefs perform behind a large glass wall. Sushi is good at affordable prices. Ask for Sushi specials as they offer Sushi at half prices occasionally (the sushi platters are excluded from discounts).

The worst food I have ever ordered, some items did not arrive. The one duck bun I ordered was as if it was half eaten, the food was cold, the take away portions were small, and I got noodles instead of rice that I asked for. Really disappointed, after reading some good reviews, I expected more.

We love this places. The closest we have been to authentic Thai food ( lived in Thailand for several years) too bad the selection of Thai dishes is minimum. If food comes not so spicy for your taste, you could request for spicy fish sauce and chili on the side.They also have sushi, I do not know much about it since I don’t eat it.We always eat here when in Brooklyn square.

Good asia food, but starters...

Phoned for collection, said it will take 30 to 35 minutes, waited another 30 minutes after arrival...... a lot of customers standing there, not happy!

The food is not great and does not compare to other Simply Asia franchises that i have gone to. Food presentation was also weak. I did not enjoy my meal at all.

Did not eat in but went to fetch take aways.... the food was great, but the few minutes I waited I felt so hot as if the aircons are not working in the restaurant... dont think I will ever eat in, but again, nothing wrong with the food... it was delicious!

I have been to this specific branch on a few occasions. Mainly for take-out and the odd sit down. Today we were assisted by a Gentleman named Ryan who knew his menu perfectly and was incredibly detailed in his service and enthusiastic to assist us. Food is good, service is great

I went for my favourite dish on Monday, was i disappointed. Ordered the crispy honey duck with garlic fried rice. It tasted awful the sauce was bitter. Missed the sweetness I went there for, the preserved veggies was only carrot with scrapes of cabbage. The veggie spring rolls was more noodles than veggies. I come there with expectations and they were not met. Will definitely look for an alternative

The water on the tables is not complementary but has to be brought separately.

Had the ramen five spice with duck yesterday. Totally underwhelming. Bland and unimaginative. Ramen is all about the broth - should be busting with flavours and fresh ingredients. The duck was old and dry and really quite tasteless (obviously prepared days before) If you want to specialise in Asian food get it right.

Absolutely vile food!! Chichen was dry, overcooked & rubbery. Noodles were so gluey I could have used it as wallpaper paste. Dim Sum was tasteless & chewy. Souce was watery. You dropped your standards to nearly zero! Extremely dissapointed!!

I ordered a takeaway from here. They gave me very little food with only two pieces of tofu. Please.dont order from here: they charge too much with small small small portions.

The food here is always so good. Its fresh, its tasty and its well priced.I love the fact that you can choose to have different meat, or tofu for vegetarians, for your meals. So you are not limited to certain types of meals.The staff is always really friendly and helpful.Really a good place to go to meet up with friends or even for a nice couple meal.

You guys you are unprofessional i was at your restaurant and you take third-party drivers as nothing how can a driver wait for more than an hour for an order you must change your management and respect your third party customers and drivers.

Order online and waiting for order more than 55 minutes up to now......... Waited an hour for order in hand !!!

Simply Asia provides good value for money and good food. With the service and wine list its a bit of a potluck. Sometimes its good and sometimes its not. Luckily the good exceeds the bad so we keep coming back.

Food coming out very slow from the Kitchen. Customers who placed orders for takeaways at the counter after us received their food before us. The waiter not attentive to the time it takes for food to be served to his/her customers. Manager not involved in overall service to customers

Always tasty meals. We have dinner here almost every Friday, service is good, ask for Thomas. It would have been a 5 star but lately the music inside is so loud and completely inappropriate. Also the manager is really not very customer focused. As mentioned we eat there once a week and he has yet to take the time to just greet us. But the food is great so will be there again next weekend.

New location, great new store.Food is always fresh, tasty and good quality. Whether takeaway or sit down, the experience is always enjoyable.Visited not long after the new store opened, service was good. Lets hope they keep up the good quality all round

Very poor service and to slow

Was curious about Simply Asia and wanted to check this restaurant out after morning shopping, so stopped by to take advantage of the two-for-one Entertainer voucher as we perused the menu. We found nothing we liked and asked to pay for the drinks using the Entertainer voucher. The waiter came back and told us the manager refused to honour the voucher without a meal being ordered. We found nothing in the rules stating the voucher could only be used with a meal, but left feeling disappointed and likely wont return.

Simply Asia in Brooklyn Square manages to be that rarest of all things: a franchise restaurant (and a self-styled trendy one to boot!) that nevertheless has a genuine passion for food. Pretty much everything on the menu is delicious, and theres a wide selection of curry- and noodle-based dishes to choose from. The service is notoriously slow, so expect to wait a while between dishes. Just sit back, entertain yourself by watching the chefs at work in the kitchen, and look forward to the food.

Fantastic food. Beautiful plating. Just wish the sushi was a little bigger.Update: went again with my girlfriend and the sushi really isnt great... Its mediocre and they only had one server working that day... He completely forgot about us and it took 45 minutes to receive our food. Not impressed. Dont think Ill be going back

Terrible service. Ordered takeaway and staff went about casualy with serving their tables but did not bother letting me know my order was ready. I sat a good 40 min waiting 🙄. 1 star for the food being amazing regardless of the horrible wait service 🙃

This is mainly because my delivery order was cancelled one hour after it was approved by the restaurant and I didn’t receive a call nor an email. This happens for a second time.Otherwise the quality of the food is pretty basic and quite far from the original Asian taste, the sushi is worse than the sushi from the supermarket boxes and I find it overpriced.Maybe try employing some Asian people? I’ve never seen a single Asian working in any of the chains...

Great selection of really good Thai food, as well as an excellent sushi menu. The service is very friendly. Its a little on the pricey side, but well worth it. Highly recommended.

Waited more than an hour for a small order of sushi, restaurant is near empty. Waiter was friendly but not attentive; he disappeared for the whole hour.

We ordered at 7:15P.M with them delivering at 8P.M with then the order being wrong and so they had toCorrect it only receiving our fixed order by 9P.MPoor service if you ask me
