I love Tashas in Canal Walk in Cape Town, but this location is definitely a step up.The signature menu for Menlyn has a great eastern/mediterranean feel to it.Decor is stunning and comfirtable inside and outside seating

Relaxed atmosphere and great place for cocktails and coffees. Breakfasts are super delicious. The freshly squeezed orange juice with a side shot of fresh ginger is a must try. Food is always tasty, delicious, and the middle eastern themed food from the signature menu is a must try for this Tashas.

This branch is middle eastern inspired. The lighting is intriguing and the decor is really nice. We absolute loved the truffle polenta and enjoyed the yogurt on mince filled aubergine. the waiter could have paid more attention though

Professional and very friendly waiters, the food is divine and its views are simply beautiful. Theres a smokers area too, which a lot of these modern restaurants often dont have.

Tashas has amazing staff with a brilliant sense of humor. They really know their menu and will be able to suggest something you would love if you are struggling to decide. The Turkish Delight Cocktail is a must and try the Creamy Pesto Pasta. One of my ultimate favorite places for dinner.

Beautiful decor, exceptional food quality and great service! I would recommend the pork schnitzel in corn flakes and the chocolate cake - it is arguably the best chocolate cake Ive ever had! The range of middle-Eastern inspired dishes were also phenomenal, the hummus and cauliflower was superb!

Absolutely loved Tashas!! They over gluten free options marked on the menu. The food was fresh, unique, and delicious. The staff was friendly and the decor is different. It has a European feel to it ! Definitely recommend stopping here.

My first time here at Tashas was good! It was for my better halfs birthday event. The staff was so friendly and helpful to get the tables arranged for us even though we were a big group.The interior is just stunning, I kept staring at the ceiling and details of the steel and concrete facades, and rounded bulkheads inside, it deserves some drooling over.Prices are what you would expect from the area, the food was a lot of food for the price 👌👌👌 really good as well!I will definitely recommend it to anyone who likes the finer things in life 👍

The service was exemplary but the food left abut to be desired. I orders The South African quesadilla with extra sirloin filling. No flavour to speak off except the gherkins. It was bland but the flat bread was great. The service was incredible though. A young man with dread locks served us so well. We gave a tip of cause. The ambiance is lovely and their food was prepared relatively quick. I just wishes there had been more flavour. Perhaps the chef forgot to add seasoning or I need to travel with an extra bottle of Aromat. Wouldve loved to give this place 4 stars or visit again but I dont think either will be happening. I do think theres a lot going for it and I do encourage people to try other items on the menu. Just please ask for seasoning.

Amazing fillet steaks.. best ever hands down..cooked to perfection with mouth watering flavor.Very seldom a chef makes a filet steak melt in your mouth... the service was also excellent..

My girlfriend and I visited on Saturday evening 16.03.2019. We ordered wine and an Irish Coffee. The drinks arrived and the glass that the wine was in was sticky and dirty, we asked to please have it changed but the second wine glass arriving dirty wasnt a taste of things to come... we should have just gotten up and left but against our better judgment we stayed (atmosphere at Menlyn Main is relaxing and enticing... but there are other restaurants) and orders food. I had fish. As soon as we got home I felt bad. I had the most severe food poisoning in my life.

Upmarket restaurant in an upmarket shopping complex ....but shocking service! Went on Thursday to celebrate my sons 25 birthday, after 3/4 of an hour we two unopened bottles of wine on the table, two dirty wine glasses between the seven of us. After three different waiters could improve our situation, we called for the manager, who apparently wasnt available, was then informed that they had run out of wine glasses!!!!!! (restaurant 1/2 full!). Guess what, we got up and left, will probibly never return .... sorry guys but thats not good enough for us.

This franchise invariably offers consistent, though not cheap, food, a moderately wide selection of beers and wines and very good coffee. This branch in Menlyn Maine is not quite as cosy as others though, perhaps because it is so new. Still, it was welcoming and definitely has the potential to be excellent. Ill go back if Im in the area.

Tashas is like bumping into your crush from years ago that youve lost contact with, and since moved on, but never quite forgot. It leaves you lost for words and wondering what just happend. Always a nice little surprise.

Worst service ever! I do love Tasha cuisine ut this time, it was horrible : I found a dead spider in my mojito, and when I told the weitress, she didnt even took it seriously. She just took it and brought me another. No manager came to me to apologize for that. I am sorry, but I am not coming back.

The middle eastern dinner menu had me groping for something I actually wanted to eat. The meal I eventually chose was quite well prepared but it didnt approach what I would consider comparable value. The staff didnt know whether they were coming or going and kept bothering us with orders and drinks destined for other tables (one can only hope). The seating was torturous and the circular outdoor tables were far to small for comfortable dining. The owners have a lot of work to do here as this venue has loads of potential; but this Tashas just didnt live up to my expectations.

A tashas is a tashas, good food, clean setting, and no surprises. This tashas has an alright food menu, ample seating at the right time and ok service.On the service side, the brooklyn tashas left me with a bit of regret at sitting down for breakfast. The waiter (who referred to himself as the general manager - short black dude) was discourteous and and stubborn. He felt the umbrellas were dropped off by god with a strict instruction not to lower them no matter the circumstance. There is a general lack of warmth here, the message seems to be get your coffee, eat your food and bounceWould I recommend this tashas to a friend, nope. There are more restaurants in this mall with the same type food. Would i recommend it to a stranger....absolutely, I dont know you and they dont serve poison so its ok.
