Lovely service, great atmosphere. Food on the pricey side for what youre getting, especially in regards the seafood. But delicious and well presented.

We received our drink with ants floating around. They took it back, without an apology, and brought another with more ants floating about.The servers then became very silent and brought a vibe to our eating experience.There is a nice view though.

Terrible experience! Waited over an hour and a half for our food to be told by the manager that they are only starting it now! We got up and paid for our drinks. This place will never see me again! I will also not recommend you to anyone!Also still waiting for an apology from the manager and our waitress!

One if our best friends invited me and my wife to join them at this venue for a dinner date. Our friends were convinced that the food here would make this the best choice because of previous experience that was good enough to then invite us.However, my friends good intentions were undermined by really bad food. Three of us chose the Portuguese full chicken, which is their specialty. Two of these chickens were mostly charred, burnt beyond being edible. My wife chose dorado fish, when served, it was half raw, yes, still pink inside, then when this was addressed it came back over cooked. For the latter, we were offered desert as a make-up gesture, but not for the charred chicken, a simple sorry from the manager had to suffice.None of these meals are cheap, actually it comes at a huge premium to dine in this restaurant. Another previous great name in restaurants, has fallen into the depths of mediocrity...

Had lots of fun. Live music and dancing. Only had lime cordial and not passionfruit cordial. And the coke came in a caraffe and was flat. Asked for a shooter that we never received. But we enjoyed ourselves.

Nice curry, but just chicken, about 2 prawns. Not worth the money! I asked the waitress, but all she said was sôrry

Atmosphere nothing different than normal restaurants, no sign of Mozambique. Had no veggies in stock and food very expensive.

The food was so salty by daughter and I have very bad tu. My pains and runny tummy. I do not recommend this food at all and it is definitely not note NOT value for money. Maybe the kitchen does not know how to cook or the owners dont care. You can take the chance., up to you.

By far the best special in Pretoria. Food is always top quality and setting is beautiful. View the sunset over the Kimiad golf course for a perfect evening out.

Great place. I was there with my whole family and we will def be back. The chicken is the best lemon and herb chicken I have had in the whole country. I have been on a hunt to find the best, I can say this has to be the best chicken ever. The service was good, food came on time and the whole experience was just awesome. 5 start!!!!

Great food would of given it 4 stars but, when we payed the bill we expected change because we split the bill and payed in cash. Sitting and waiting for our change we decided to confront our waitress but, she said we paid the correct amount and we left. Later that night we reviewed our calculations and saw that we were supposed to get R83(including the waitresses tip) back in change. So please always be weary about the amount you give and the amount you get back.

My husband had a great light lunch here last week Sunday. The service was reasonable. Our bill came to R364 and my hubby added a R36 tip which came to R400. The waitress however decided that was not nearly enough and promptly entered the amount of R600 on the card machine. Fortunately my hubby saw it and asked her to put his amount in. She did not even apologize...We went to show and tell the manager before we left. He took a photo of our account, but did not even bother to call her and confront her. I have read of some other patrons that have had a similar experience there - so please be awake when you pay. The food was great but that experience left a bad taste in the mouth....

Maybe it was just a bad time to go in the afternoon during December. The place was quiet. The tables were not all clean. It did not seem like there was a manager there let alone the owner. Service was not great. We eventually decided to leave and didnt order food.

Wow what a Portuguese experience , the Portuguese chicken is the real deal

Feels like Mozambique, the food was nice and the live music entertaining. And the friendly service from Charity made it a very nice evening. Also, they make a great Steelworks.

The food was not bad, but a bit pricey. Service was very slow, even though we were the first people in the restaurant at about 11h30 and they were not busy at all.

Very beautiful location and you get a wonderful view of the golf course. Very romantic atmosphere, family friendly. The stir fried vegetables were amazing, full of flavor, the chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. The bacalhau (cod fish) balls did not have enough fish in them. The staff are friendly and the service was really good. I would definitely return. I just had a marvelous experience. I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take pictures, I preferred to keep the memories.

Beautiful lunch on Sunday! Crispy calamari, authentic chicken livers and really scrumptious prego rolls and fish! Plus, a really divine creme caramel-the way ‘mamma makes it’! The live music added to the dining experience-we will be back!

This was our 1st visit here.The food was absolutely fantastic! We had the calamari and fillet trinchado starters. Both were exceptional in flavour. Fresh portuguese rolls served on the side. For mains we had the prawn special. R99 bucks on a Friday night. 12 well sized prawns. And a choice of sides. None of this nonsense with specials that you cant have salad or veg! You can choose between chips, rice, salad, veg or mash. The prawns were absolutely prepared to perfection.And then to boot we had live music. Entertaining for sure.A 5 star rating (7 if it was available)

Perfect Meals! I had the Baby Chicken - perfectly cooked & seasoned to perfection. Hubby had the Rump Espetada - melt-in-the-mouth devine. Will DEFINITELY be back, often!!

Delicious food, great vibe, excellent singer, fab service

After my 1st experience I vowed not to return - quality of the food was really bad and tasteless. This is a few months later and I am back. I thought maybe it was a once off experience. I am sorry, but at least they are consistent in serving terrible quality - visually ok, but tasted terrible. I cannot see them survive 2019 in a competitive restaurant context.

They didnt have stock of some drinks and food on the menu, the service was great, but the food wasnt anything to rave about.

The good: Service was quick (a quiet mid-afternoon) and the golf course view is great. The prawn risoles were tasty.The bad: Two of the three starters were really disappointing. Beef trinchado tasted like Bisto, and the mussels were very fishy and the garlic sauce not great.Lifes too short to eat at a bad restaurant twice...

I can understand the cramped seating due to the weather and appreciate the the tables that was joined so that four adults can sit comfortably. Then, an elderly man starts his entertainment very loudly from a checkers trolley in a corner. Conversation was impossible and you need to repeat your order several times to the waiter who cannot explain the menu. The food.... not good. The chef is very heavy on something that tasted like an overdoze of “Bisto” in the sauce. Lets be honest.... Laurentina without laurentina beer .. not good
