The food is always well prepared, the staff super friendly....the whole experience is worth it.

I was enquiring about where to have a crab curry in Pretoria, and Google had the answers this time, and my wife not. My friend Jaco said the Brooklyn Branch is the place to go to, so we went, with Uber Black nogal.The experience was exceptional, we did our own whiskey tasting from the menu, great.The only possible negative, they do not provide bibs, but most boertjies, unlike me, will never be seen dead on one in a restaurant.All and all, a great experience.The crab curry was better than a lot I had before.PS, The Service was excellent, as expected of course.Coenie.

I have not been there for quite some time and was very happy to see the same welcoming service with a smile from the waiters and massive, tasty portions from a huge menu selection. Crawdaddys is never a disappointment. Well done! I highly recommend going there and will be back soon xxx

Probably the best tomahawk steak (Ribeye) I’ve had. Really delicious with the bone marrow on the side so highly recommend that. Listen to the video. It’s appetising as heck. My partner had the prawns which were unreal as well.Service is a standout from this bunch. Really impressive.There was no smoking section and no sport on tv if that matters to you. On tap beer selection was vast from SAB. Wine and bubbles list was moderate too.

What a great restaurant!! I saw other tables plates and really good-sized portions, so Bang for Rand in my opinion. The food tasted great as well.I had the Crab curry - without a doubt I crabbed out after the 4 -5 crabs in that Poitjie pot, and that I had about a 1/3 to go🙃.Only 2 things negative to say:1st the main road is busy and can be noisy with peeps showing their exhausts off🤫.2nd point which is a negative+positive combo, our waiter was a little too relaxed but other waiters picked up the load and helped us, when we needed.Really good food and impressed with the quantity and quality of it👍👍!!

I love the setting in this restaurant, its so intimate and chilled. In the evening, they light candles at each table (which is just amazing for ambience) . I came to have dinner with one of my friends and it was a tasty meal, the staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I did feel like towards the end of the night, there were quite a number of people in the restaurant, it was actually one of the main reasons I left (because of social distancing fears). Overall a pleasant experience. They offer a really wide variety of food options, so I think theyll have you covered.

Taste close to home! The seasoning was just right! Its probably the closest Old Bay taste Ive experienced in SA! Id recommend this place and will visit again!

Had a great evening celebrating our 43rd wedding anniversary.All three of us were very happy with our food, both quality and presentation was great.Waiter service was really good, friendly and professional.COVID-19 regulations were strictly adhered to and I want to go back so I can enjoy this good food with an alcoholic beverage.

This is my favourite restaurant in Pretoria. The food is always great! Service is outstanding. Best place for steaks and gourmet milkshakes. The seafood chowder is also fantastic... Have it with their cheese garlic bread, you wont be sorry.

I cant fault this place. 1st outing after level 4 lockdown and I did not regret it.Service excellent.Food was delicious and generous portions too, so come prepared.Ran out of time so did not try any dessert but I will be going back.Prices, very reasonable.

Value for money, good food and something for the whole family

Food is always good but they must deliberately find the worst car guards in Pretoria. Last time it cost me R1200 to repair a broken lock where someone had tried to get into the car. This time I was harassed by guard who only emerged from under a tree the other side of the car park once I was already in my car. That spoilt what had been a very good lunch.

Food was mediocre. Had the seafood chowder and ribs and chicken.Milkshake was nice though. Service excellent!

The most beautifully cooked, wholesome food that borders on a heavenly experience. And the consistency of service and food quality is a marriage made in heaven!

A rare find in a busy but beautiful part of Pretoria. It has a great welcoming atmosphere and familiar smells of great food and beverages served. The service staff is friendly and very efficient. The food is fantastic and the drinks always cold!

It’s a very good place to go out as a group or go on a date with someone. They even have a candle on the table for when it’s a bit dark (for the mood).This place is amazing. They sell the best ribs I’ve ever had. The are quality ribs with very few bones. A KG of ribs costs R180. They also have affordable combos of ribs, chicken, buffalo wings, lamb chops, and seas food.Dining for two people can cost up to R400 including drinks. They have wonderful customer service.

Off with the positives, crawdaddys is a food paradise if youre into meat and seafood. The portions are generous, the food is full of taste and you certainly feel that you get value for your money. If you get one of the combos or one of main meals and not take a doggy bag, youre either a giant or just a glutton.The atmosphere is relaxed, what Id call suburban, family type atmosphere. The deco theme is sea/fishing, this might not appeal to everyone but it feels cosy and relaxed. However, if youre unfortunate to go there on a busy day (weekends), it can look cramped and be noisy.One negative is the service is a hit and miss. Each time Ive been here, Ive more often that not waited quite a bit to get my drinks and quite a while for the food. Other than that, this is a good spot for a meal in Pretoria.

I decided to spoil my children with a relaxing lunch on Youth Day and Crawdaddys was the choice. As it was our first time, we went with open minds and empty tummies.We were blown away! Everything we ordered was simply delicious. My son loved his Buffalo wings (all their chicken products are from a certified Halaal supplier 👌) and Italian Bruschetta, my daughters Thai Prawns were fantastic and my 500g Queen Prawns with Crawdaddys simple lemon butter were so fresh and tasty, youd swear they were caught right before prep. The strawberry milkshake and ice cream with chocolate sauce were yummy too, and Im not an ice cream fan... especially not in winter.Albeit that the service was a bit slow after a while, we will surely go back. Thumbs up Crawdaddys!

Food is always rich and the portions are generous. The Garlick butter I had split (so there was an oil layer on top) but all things said, Im sure they would have helped if I asked. A definite must in Pretoria!!!

This place! Absolutely amazing food. Brilliant SERVICE! Did not wait to order, ask for anything for the table. Everything was done on time and even before we asked for something it was offered. Whether its for a birthday or night out, make crawdaddys part of it. For those in your group who dont like seafood there are many meat dishes to choose from. And a great sauce to accompany it.

A pretty decent place, I love the layout as its made for family outting and chilling with friends. Although Im not sure if people of colour are freely accepted.Please update me with more detailing. This isnt meant to be a negative comment its just based on the little experience Ive had there.

I loved the relaxed atmosphere which makes it a good place to bring kids. The servers are attentive and almost immediately available when needed. The dishes are larger than what I expected, and well worth the wait.

Went there for my partners birthday dinner on the 17th ofApril... the most amazing play area for kids so safe... the food was just amazing... from one chef to another a job well done... my steak was cooked to perfection.
